Just a day Bollywood Hungama was the first to report that Aayush Sharma had walked out of the Salman Khan starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. While fans of the Bollywood superstar are eagerly awaiting the release, the film’s shoot schedule may be delay owing to the casting woes that the makers are facing. Recent reports also suggest that Zaheer Iqbal, who made his Bollywood debut with Notebook, may not be a part of the film anymore. Hence, these reports have it that the makers may have to search for two replacements.

Furthermore, rumours are rife that Abhimanyu Dassani, who is currently gearing up for the release of Nikamma, will be roped in for the film. Along with that, the makers are reportedly considering Meezan Jafri for one of the roles too. However, there has been no official statement that was released neither by the actors nor by the makers of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. While the film is said to have gone on floors, if these rumours are to be believed, it is being said that the shoot schedule might face a setback due to the changes in the casting.

In our earlier reports, our source had revealed that Aayush Sharma walked out of the film owing to creative differences. As for Zaheer Iqbal, reports have it that the actor had never spoken about his association with the film in the past.

In the past, the film has faced some issues. From changing hands in terms of production from Sajid Nadiadwala to Salman Khan, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has witnessed some changes in the past. There were also rumors that Farhad Samji might be replaced. However, the filmmaker continues to be a part of the film. Besides them, the film also stars Sooraj Pancholi, Pooja Hegde amongst others.

The Salman Khan starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has been in the news for a while now. From its casting to its release to the producer of the film making headlines, the film has been a hot topic. Just recently, it was reported that Sajid Nadiadwala would no longer be bankrolling the film and Salman Khan had stepped in as the main producer with Salman Khan Films. In fact, it was also reported that the film would feature Aayush Sharma, Pooja Hegde, and Zaheer Iqbal along with Salman Khan himself. If that wasn’t enough, the crew had also commenced work on the film with an expected release in December this year. However, now we hear that Aayush Sharma has walked out of the project citing creative differences.

Talking exclusively to Bollywood Hungama a source close to the production team says, “Yes the team of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali had begun work and shooting for the film. But some issues seem to have crept up between Aayush and SKF. Following these creative differences, Aayush has decided on opting out of the project altogether.” Ask for more details about what actually transpired and the source continues, “Aayush Sharma started shooting for his portions of the film, and even completed a whole day’s worth of shooting. However, certain differences between him and the production house arose which ultimately led to him opting to walk out of the film.”

With Aayush Sharma opting out of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali the release of the film which is slated for December this year is now questionable. With the makers of the film having to re-cast a new actor for Aayush’s role, the time taken to decide and finalize one will be rather crucial. In such a case, the likelihood of the film meeting the deadline with a release on December 30 will have to be changed.

The month of June will see some interesting films releasing in cinemas. One flick that is being keenly awaited is JugJugg Jeeyo. The star cast is exciting, comprising Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. The posters were released recently and they got a good response as they gave the vibe of a vibrant family entertainer. That it is directed by Raj Mehta has also added to the hype as his first film, Good Newwz (2019), was a smashing hit and a fine commercial entertainer. As a result, the trailer of the film, which will be released on May 22, is being awaited by everyone in the trade, industry and even by moviegoers.

Bollywood Hungama has found out that there’s one more actor in the ensemble star cast of JugJugg Jeeyo. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Elnaaz Norouzi is also a part of JugJugg Jeeyo and has an item song in the movie. The makers were looking for an actress who can dance well and had the required sex appeal. Elnaaz fit the bill and that’s how she came on board.”

The source continued, “JugJugg Jeeyo is a Karan Johar production and the film is a family entertainer. Hence, this item song is glamorous and shot aesthetically. Moreover, it is not added for the heck of it. It is an important part of the narrative and comes at a crucial juncture.”

Elnaaz Norouzi rose to fame with her role of Zoya Mirza in Netflix’s popular web series, Sacred Games, featuring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in leading roles. She was then seen in web series like Abhay and Chutzpah, and also in the comic film, Hello Charlie. Recently, she’s flying high as she got a chance to feature in the second season of the famous show, Tehran. The latest season was released on Apple TV on May 6.

Meanwhile, JugJugg Jeeyo also stars Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli. The film is all set to be released on June 24 in cinemas.

Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has expectably opened to rousing collections. This is Kartik Aaryan’s biggest opener at the box office, beating his other hits like Pati Patni Aur Woh, Lukka Chuppi, and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety by a wide margin.

Significantly Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is the first Hindi post-Covid release to hit the bull’s eye in spite of not being a larger-than-life costume drama or a gangster epic. And now, we hear that a third film in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise is already being planned. With Kartik Aaryan in the lead, of course. While the gap between the first Bhool Bhulaiyaa film and the second was 15 years the gap between Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 would be no more than 2 years.
