Voot has finally announced season four of its most loved youth fiction show, Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan. With a successful run of three seasons, the popular romantic drama is all set to make a comeback on the streamer after almost four years! Alongside its original star cast, the upcoming season of Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan also boasts of some new faces as it marks a new chapter of Manik (played by Parth Samthaan) and Nandini’s (played by Niti Taylor Bawa) life with the theme of ‘Stars, Fireflies and Glassy Dreams.’

Actors including Parth Samthaan, Niti Taylor Bawa, Kishwer Merchant, Ayaaz Khan and Mehul Nissar, among others, will be seen reviving their characters in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan Season four. Whereas Aayush Shokeen, Sagar Parekh, Jaanya Khandpur and Palash Tiwari make their entry into the most watched show amongst the youth – Kaise Yeh Yaarian. However, the focus of the show continues to remain on the modern-day fairy tale love story of ‘#MaNan’, i.e., Manik Malhotra and Nandini Murthy!

Parth Samthaan, the lead character of the show expressed his views as “It’s rare for any show to stay relevant for years, and Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan has managed to do so for over a decade now! The show enjoys a cult fan-following across the country, so we really had to bring our A-game to make sure we live up to the fans’ expectations. I hope the audience showers this season with immense love, just like its previous seasons!”

South Korean drama Tomorrow, which simultaneously airs on MBC network and Netflix, stars SF9’s  Rowoon and Kim Hee Sun, have responded to allegations that the drama has used BTS members V and Jungkook’s information.

The allegations surfaced when online users pointed out this week that the series’ seventh episode, which aired on April 22, had BTS member V’s real name as well as V’s and Jungkook’s dates of birth in one of the scenes. The scene in question contained a handwritten list of the deceased which included V’s real name, Kim Tae Hyung, written with his birthday, December 30, but with a different year. Other member Jungkook’s date and year of birth, September 1, 1997, were also written on the list with a different name.

The series was then criticized for having the name and date of birth of the artists on the list of dead people and called for the production team’s apology and the removal of the following scene.

As Korean tabloid Soompi reports, the makers of the fantasy drama denied the allegations. Tomorrow stated on May 17, “(The birth dates on the list) are simply a combination of numbers, and there are no other intentions [behind them].”

Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, Tomorrow is a fantasy drama starring Rowoon as Choi Joon Woong, a mortal who gets into an unfortunate accident while struggling to find a job. As a result, he crosses paths with grim reapers Goo Ryun (Kim Hee Sun) and Lim Ryoong Goo (Yoon Ji On), who work together to save the lives of those who are contemplating suicide, and he winds up joining their team in the underworld as their youngest member.

South Korean actress Kim Sae Ron has been booked and is currently being investigated for allegedly driving under the influence (DUI).

As Korean tabloid Soompi reports, a source from the Seoul Gangnam Police Station stated on May 18, “Kim Sae Ron has been booked under the charges of drunk driving this morning.” According to the reports, Kim Sae Ron was driving this morning at around 8 a.m. KST in the district of Cheongdam in Gangnam when she crashed into a structure. The police then asked the vehicle’s driver, Kim Sae Ron, to take a breathalyzer test. However, Kim Sae Ron wished to be transported to a hospital instead in order to undergo a blood test. The source continued to share, “After the blood is drawn, we will request the National Forensic Service to check the alcohol concentration in the blood.”

In response to the initial reports, a representative of Kim Sae Ron’s agency GOLDMEDALIST Entertainment stated that they are in the process of verifying the information. The agency giving an update on the investigation stated, “Kim Sae Ron took a blood test for accurate results, and after the test, she was escorted home by her guardian without additional investigation. The results of the blood test will be available in two weeks, and Kim Sae Ron will faithfully respond to the police’s questioning afterward.”

Moreover, the production team of Kim Sae Ron’s upcoming Netflix series Hunting Dogs (literal translation) commented, “We’re currently in the middle of filming. The shooting schedule will be adjusted, and the public schedule will be announced as soon as it is arranged after a thorough discussion.”

Oscar-winner Helen Mirren and Academy Award nominee Harrison Ford will star in the highly anticipated 1932, an origin story for creator Taylor Sheridan’s record-breaking series Yellowstone set at Paramount+.

According to Deadline, Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford have been tapped to star in the Yellowstone origin story from creator Taylor Sheridan. The series will stream exclusively on Paramount+ and debut at a date to be determined in December. Picked up straight to series in February, 1932 introduces a new generation of the Dutton family and will explore the early 20th century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition and the Great Depression all plague the Mountain West, and the Duttons who call it home.

Meanwhile, the original Yellowstone, starring Kevin Costner as rancher James Dutton, has just begun production for Season 5, following a record-setting Season 4 which saw the series nominated for a SAG Award acting ensemble and a Producers Guild Award. The series marks a return to TV for both lead stars Mirren and Ford. Mirren previously led the Emmy-nominated show Catherine the Great whereas Ford is set to star in AppleTV+ comedy Shrinking.

The upcoming series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions. Sheridan executive produces along with John Linson, Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, and Ben Richardson. In addition to 1932 and Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan is also currently at work on a second season of Mayor of Kingstown starring Jeremy Renner, Tulsa King starring Sylvester Stallone and Lioness starring Zoe Saldaña.

A while back, Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad confirmed their relationship after walking hand-in-hand at the airpot. The Dhoom actor sparked dating rumours with Saba earlier this year after they were spotted making their way out of a date night. As per reports, Hrithik had been keeping his relationship with Saba under wraps for months. In fact, those who knew about their romance were said to be surprised by his decision to be clicked with her in public. Earlier this week, reports claimed that Hrithik and Saba are planning to tie the knot soon.

Sunny Deol may not be seen much in public, but the actor is busy with his films. However, one place to spot him eventually is near his preview theatre in the Mumbai suburbs. In fact, recently Sunny was spotted in Juhu along with his new set of wheels in the form of the Land Rover Defender, which comes with a price tag of well over Rs. 1 cr.

While the exact model Sunny Deol owns is unknown the Defender comes with an engine option between a 2.0 L 4-cylinder, 3.0 L 6-cylinder, 3.0 L 6-cylinder diesel, and a 5.0 L V8. Featuring an 8-speed gearbox with All Wheel Drive and six driving modes, the vehicle makes for an intimidating visual on the road. As for in-car entertainment, the new Defender features a 10-inch touch screen display with a host of comforts for the users. While we have to admit that Sunny’s choice of cars cannot get better than this, we just have to get him to take us on a tour of his garage.

Back on the work front, Sunny Deol was last seen behind the camera as the director of the film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, and will next be seen in Gadar 2 and Apne 2.

Ashutosh Gowariker’s AGPPL and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series have announced the release date of Rajiv Kapoor’s last film Toolsidas Junior with an interesting video of Ranbir Kapoor playing snooker with the young actor Varun Buddhadev. Announcing the new release date, the makers presented a special video featuring Rajiv Kapoor’s nephew Ranbir Kapoor and the lead actor of Toolsidas Junior Varun Buddhadev, playing the game of snooker, while Ranbir ends the video with the tagline of the film – Baccha Hai, Phaad Dega!

Releasing on 23rd May, Toolsidas Junior marks the last film of veteran actor Rajiv Kapoor, which traces the bond between a father and son against the backdrop of the underrated game of Snooker.

Rajiv Kapoor lost his battle to life with a cardiac arrest, on the 9th February last year. Marking a year to his unfortunate demise, the makers of Toolsidas Junior hosted a special screening for the Kapoor family attended by Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain, Rima Jain, Kunal Kapoor alongwith producers Ashutosh and Sunita Gowariker, Bhushan Kumar and director Mridul.

Toolsidas Junior marks Ashutosh Gowariker and Bhushan Kumar’s first joint production while the duo had previously collaborated for Swades, wherein T-Series partnered for the music. Depicting the motivational story of a young boy driven by passion for the game of Snooker and his emotional and affectionate relationship with his father, the film offers the ideal collective family viewing experience on Netflix, catering to all audiences. The sports drama set in 1994’s Calcutta, journeys through life of a snooker champion played by Kapoor, who loses his heart after losing an important match. His son, played by Buddhadev, takes it upon himself to bring his father’s name back to the winner’s list.
