An alleged image of an official school document showing that female group LE SSERAFIM member Kim Ga Ram was the perpetrator of school violence started circulating online Monday. Both the group’s agency and Kim Ga Ram’s former school have issued brief responses to the alleged piece of evidence.

On May 16, a photo of a document dated 2018 and titled “Notice of School Violence Committee Results” surfaced online and lists the name “Kim Garam from Year 1, Class 3” as the perpetrator in the incident. The document begins, “We are informing you of the action that we will be taking in accordance with Articles 16 and 17 of the Act on the Prevention of and Countermeasures Against Violence in Schools.”

As Korean tabloid Soompi notes, Article 16 of the Act on the Prevention of and Countermeasures Against Violence in Schools deals with “Protection of Victim Students,” and Article 17 of the law deals with “Countermeasures Against Aggressor Students.” On the same day that the document began spreading online, someone posted a photo allegedly of Kim Garam and her classmates from middle school wearing T-shirts with the number “3” on them and wrote, “It’s true that Kim Garam was in Year 1, Class 3 at Kyeongin Middle School. This is a photo from a Kyeongin Middle School retreat.”

A spokesperson for HYBE then officially responded the same day to the alleged evidence saying, “Nothing has changed from our agency’s previous statement [on the matter]. We have begun to take legal action, and the details will be sorted out during the legal process.” Meanwhile, the school bullying controversy has continued even before the new girl group debuted. Five days before LE SSERAFIM’s debut, an anonymous netizen created an online community post claiming that member Kim Garam is actually a school bully.

Last month, when multiple allegations against Kim Ga Ram surfaced, HYBE released an official statement denying the allegations and claiming that Kim Ga Ram had been a victim of school bullying herself. The agency also announced their plans to take legal action against those making the claims about Kim Ga Ram. Meanwhile, when Korean newspaper Money Today contacted Kim Garam’s former middle school to ask about the alleged evidence, the school replied, “We cannot give a response.”

South Korean actors Yoon Kye Sang and Jung Ryeo Won are reportedly in talks to star in the upcoming drama The Married Couple is Jobless (working title).

According to Korean tabloid Soompi, based on an essay published in 2020 by writer Pyun Sung Joon, The Married Couple is Jobless revolves around a husband and wife resigning from their jobs, and it talks about enjoying a long life while “playing without a break.” In response to the casting rumors, Yoon Kye Sang’s agency Just Entertainment stated that the actor has received an offer and is currently reviewing it.

If Yoon Kye Sang takes the offer, he will play the husband Pyun Sung Joon, who has worked as a copywriter for an advertising company for more than 20 years. Moreover, it was reported that Jung Ryeo Won is also in talks to play the role of wife Yoon Hye Ja, a publishing planner who can’t stand injustice. She “pretends to be smart and strong, but she’s actually a warm person.”

Yoon Kye Sang’s work credits include Who Are You, Beyond the Clouds, The Good Wife, Crime Puzzle, and most recently Kiss Six Sense. Meanwhile, Jung Ryeo Won previously worked in My Name Is Kim Sam-soon, Two Faces of My Girlfriend, Castaway on the Moon, and History of a Salaryman.

In April, Aamir Khan launched the first track from his upcoming release Laal Singh Chaddha. Titled ‘Kahani’, the actor teased the audience about the same on social media weeks before its release. Also christened as the ‘Feather Song’ the track featured no visuals, and focussed wholly on the music. Following this, Aamir launched the second track, ‘Main Ki Karaan’ a few days back on May 12. Now we hear that next month, June, Aamir will be releasing two more tracks from the film.

Revealing details about the launch a well-placed industry source tells Bollywood Hungama, “In June Aamir is launching two more tracks from Laal Singh Chaddha, and like the previous two, ‘Kahani’, and ‘Main Ki Karaan’, the two new tracks will also be focussed on the music with minimal to no visuals from the film.” Ask for more details and the source continues, “Though the titles of the tracks are being kept under wraps, the first one will be out on June 9, with the second following a few weeks later on June 23. Following the launch of the new tracks, Aamir will decide on releasing the full album of Laal Singh Chaddha.”

While we cannot wait to hear the two new tracks, the film itself, Laal Singh Chaddha is an official remake of the Tom Hanks film Forrest Gump. Directed by Advait Chandan the film, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, is slated to release in theatres on August 11, 2022.

ZEE5, India’s largest homegrown OTT platform and storyteller for a billion Indians announced today an exclusive AVOD direct-to-digital and free-to-stream movie title, Ardh. Starring Rajpal Yadav, Rubina Dilaik, Hiten Tejwani, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Ardh is a ZEE5 exclusive film that will premiere on the 10th June. Produced by Pal Music and Films, and written and directed by Palash Muchhal, the movie marks Rubina Dilaik’s debut in films and portrays Rajpal Yadav in a never-seen-before avatar.

As seen in the trailer, the story showcases how a small-town guy, Shiva (Rajpal Yadav) struggles to become an actor in the city of dreams, Mumbai despite being a great theatre actor. Now to survive in the city and earn his bread and butter, he pretends to be a transgender (Parvati) with the support of his wife (Rubina Dilaik) and seeks money in the local trains and at the signals in Mumbai. It is the story of a dreamer in the city of dreams who goes on to explore whether he manages to fulfill his dreams, or his dreams get crushed in this fast-paced, cut-throat city of Mumbai.

The voice-over of the film has been done by the popular and legendary actor, Jackie Shroff, and the songs are sung by Sonu Nigam, Armaan Malik, Palak Muchhal, Rekha Bhardwaj, Rubina Dilaik, Divya Kumar, Parry G, and Amit Mishra. Composed by the writer and director, Palash Muchhal, the audience will get to witness 6 songs as part of the film.
