Ram Setu is one of the most anticipated films, created in association with Cape of Good Films, Lyca and Abundantia Entertainment. The Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez starrer is an action-adventure film and the makers recently decided to give the audience a glimpse of it. On September 26, the makers of the film and Akshay Kumar not only confirmed the release date of the film but also released a one-minute-long teaser featuring the fantasy World of Ram Setu.

As for the story, it revolves around an atheist archaeologist turned believer, Aryan Kulshrestha (Akshay Kumar), who must race against time to prove the true existence of the legendary Ram Setu before evil forces destroy the pillar of India’s heritage. The film also stars Satyadev Kancharana, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and M. Nasser in primary roles. Promising to be a fast-paced, action-adventure entertainer for the entire family and a massive visual scale, Ram Setu is written and directed by Abhishek Sharma who is known for films Parmanu, Tere Bin Laden. Presented by Prime Video, Ram Setu marks Prime Video’s entry into movie co-productions, making it India’s first film to be co-produced by the streaming platform. It is produced by Aruna Bhatia (Cape of Good Films), Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment), Subaskaran, Mahaveer Jain, and Aashish Singh (Lyca Productions) and Prime Video with Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi as the Creative Producer. It will be distributed worldwide in theatres by Zee Studios. Aiming to capture the Diwali audience, Ram Setu will be in theatres October 25, 2022.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 has finally found its winner. While the finalists included choreographer Tushar Kalia, internet sensation and TV actress Jannat Zubair, popular television star Rubina Dilaik, TV actor Mohit Malik, and vlogger Mr. Faisu. After a strong competition, Tushar finally held the trophy and also won Rs. 20 lakhs as well as a car after turning winner for the stunt-based reality show. Mr. Faisu earned the place of the first runner-up.

Tushar Kalia took to Instagram to share a photo of him kissing the trophy and thanked the audience for all the love and support he received from them. On the other hand, the official Instagram page of Colors Channel shared a series of photos marking his epic win on the show as well as included photos where the host Rohit Shetty was presenting him the coveted trophy. The finale episode showcased a tough competition from contestants, and it also had the team of the Rohit Shetty film Cirkus as its special guests. Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde and the rest of the cast appeared on the show and bonded with the finalists.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 that kicked off in July featured celebrities who attempt to overcome their fears as they presented with different challenging tasks each day. Besides Mohit, Rubina, Faisu, Jannat, and the winner Tushar, Shivangi Joshi, Pratik Sehajpal, Nishant Bhat, Erika Fernandez, Chetna Pande, Aneri Vajani, Sriti Jha, Kanika Mann, Rajiv Adatia were also the contestants of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. The show aired on Colors on Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 pm. The show will now be replaced by Bigg Boss which kicks off on October 1.

Duchess of Sussex and former actress Meghan Markle allegedly threatened her now-husband Prince Harry to end things if he didn’t announce their relationship to the world, according to a new book excerpt published by The Times of London. The new revelations come as part of a new book titled “Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown” by Valentine Low, which is set for release next month.

As reported by Insider, two anonymous sources told the author that Meghan gave Harry an ultimatum regarding their relationship, causing him to panic. “She was saying, ‘If you don’t put out a statement confirming I’m your girlfriend, I’m going to break up with you,” one source told Low. Another source told the author that Harry was “freaking out, saying, ‘She’s going to dump me.’”

According to the book, Prince Harry contacted Jason Knauf, the communications secretary for Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry at the time. As per the book, as reported by the outlet, Harry reportedly told Knauf to release a statement confirming his relationship with Meghan and to condemn the racist treatment she received from British tabloids.

Meghan told Harry’s staff that she knew “how the palace worked,” adding, “you don’t care about the girlfriend. Harry’s staff knew that Meghan was different from other royal girlfriends. She had her own opinions and would let people know what they were. In the spring of 2017, more than six months before the couple were engaged, she told one of Harry’s advisers: ‘I think we both know I’m going to be one of your bosses soon,'” the book reads.

The revelations come after the couple attended a series of memorial services for the late Queen Elizabeth II who died at 96 on September 8.

Hollywood actor Johnny Depp is reportedly dating Joelle Rich, the lawyer who represented Depp in his 2018 libel lawsuit against The Sun. According to Page Six, earlier this week, it was reported that the Pirates of the Caribbean star has been romantically involved with Rich, one of the defense attorneys from his 2020 U.K. libel lawsuit against The Sun.

As the report suggests, Depp isn’t exclusive with his lawyer-turned-girlfriend. The London-based lawyer represented Depp when he sued The Sun for calling him a “wife-beater” in a news article on former-wife Amber Heard’s allegations of domestic violence. Depp lost the case with a judge ruling it’s “substantially true” he abused Amber Heard on multiple occasions. His team soon filed to appeal the ruling, but the claim was denied in March 2021.

While Rich did not represent Depp in his defamation lawsuit against Heard in the U.S. earlier this summer, she did make several appearances at the courtroom during the trial. At the time she anticipated the US trial would reveal “complete, irrefutable evidence of the truth in the U.S. libel case against Ms. Heard where she will have to provide full disclosure.”

In the U.S. trial, the actor was represented by Camille Vasquez and Benjamin Chew. Depp eventually won the case in June with jury concluding that Heard intentionally and maliciously defamed Depp when she wrote a 2018 Washington Post op-ed identifying herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse.”

The jury ordered Amber Heard to pay Johnny Depp $15 million in damages and awarded the Aquaman actress $2 million as compensation for one of Depp’s former lawyers having defamed Heard in the media.

A group of 40 crew members, that worked on the production of Don’t Worry Darling, issued a joint statement on Saturday denying the reports of tensions between director Olivia Wilde and star Florence Pugh on the set of the psychological thriller.

According to Entertainment Weekly, allegations that Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh got into a “screaming match” on set are “complete false,” according to the crew members, which include writer and producer Katie Silberman, producer Miri Yoon, costume designer Arianne Phillips, and director of photography Matthew Libatique.

“As a crew, we’ve avoided addressing the absurd gossip surrounding the movie we’re so proud of, but feel the need to correct the anonymous ‘sources’ quoted in a recent article,” Silberman and co. said in a joint statement issued to People. “Any allegations about unprofessional behavior on the set of Don’t Worry Darling are completely false.”

Olivia Wilde, “an incredible leader and director who was present with and involved in every aspect of production,” the crew said, “ran this set with class and respect for everyone involved.” The statement continued, “There was never a screaming match between our director and anyone, let alone a member of our cast.”

“We are happy to put our names on this, as real people who worked on the film, and who have witnessed and benefitted from the collaborative and safe space Olivia creates as a director and leader,” the crew members continued. “We’re also thrilled that the movie is in theaters this weekend.”

Miri Yoon, a producer for Don’t Worry Darling, also told PEOPLE exclusively, “Rumors of screaming matches between our director and leading lady on set are completely unfounded. We truly hope you enjoy the movie.” The statement comes after a Friday report from Vulture tabloid in which an anonymous source recalled a “screaming match” between Wilde and Pugh.

The report said then-studio head Toby Emmerich had to intervene and moderate a “long negotiation process” to ensure that Pugh would participate in the film’s press promotion and “not jeopardize the potential box office.”

Don’t Worry Darling arrives in theaters September 30.
