Prime Video dropped a humorous film a couple of days ago where we saw Varun Dhawan being questioned by everyone in his vicinity for the inside scoop on Amazon Originals. The video features his warm relationship with Prime Video as the actor attempts different ways to get this information from his “friend” who works at the service. However, when it doesn’t work and we can Varun taking it up as a challenge to get top-secret information himself.

Now, in the second film, that released earlier today, it is a continuation where Varun Dhawan is portrayed as the man-with-a-plan as he tries different tactics to get access to this classified information. From flicking his friend’s ID card to listening in on secret conversations, the hilarious video features Varun sneaking into the corporate maze of Prime Video’s office. The video showcases Varun coming across a file on the budget of the Shahid Kapoor starrer Farzi where he is surprised to see the expense of his hairstyling budget and wonders why its three times higher than his own.

He also goes to the extent of planting a microchip on one of the employees’ shoulder. While he is excited to know about the different stars they want to work with, he gets disappointed when they talk about his brother Rohit Dhawan as well as South star Vijay Deverakonda but never take VD’s name. He goes on to say, “What about me yaar? I mean I get it ya… South heroes faad rahe hai (South heroes are killing it) and full respect to them. But… Main bhi unke tarah dance karr sakta hoon yaar.“

He takes it up as a challenge and breaks into an impromptu dance number amidst the employees at the Amazon Prime office but soon realizes that sometimes the easiest of plans can actually help you hit the jackpot.  The video ends with the actor landing a suitcase full of confidential information and the audiences will have to wait until he unveils the details.

Readers would be aware that the 25th of every month is celebrated as Pathaan day by Yash Raj Films. The film marks the comeback after five years on the big screen. The actor will be seen in the action entertainer Pathaan along with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham playing pivotal roles. Today, on September 25, the makers have decided to share a glimpse of the superstar on social media, and fans can’t stop gushing over it.

In the post shared by Shah Rukh Khan, the actor posted a photo of himself in a shirtless avatar from the YRF film. Giving a glimpse of his wit and sense of humour, he posted a caption which was words from the poetry in the Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Rekha starrer Silsila. “Me to My Shirt today: ‘Tum hoti toh kaisa hota…. Tum iss baat pe hairaan hoti, Tum iss baat pe kitni hansti…….Tum hoti toh aisa hota..’ Me also waiting for #Pathaan”

Speaking about the massive response for the different posts they have shared in the past, Siddharth Anand said, “I’m thrilled with the unanimously positive response to every asset of the film that we have launched so far. The director is also thrilled about getting a theatrical release of Pathaan in January 2023. “I always endeavour to give audiences a theatrical experience that sets new benchmarks in Indian cinema. We are all working very hard so that Pathaan, hopefully, does the same when it releases on Jan 25, 2023,” he concluded.

While she made her Bollywood debut under Dharma Productions, Ananya Panday has once again chosen the same production house to make her OTT debut. Dharmatic Entertainment, which is the digital wing of Dharma Productions, will be launching the SOTY actress on OTT with the show titled Call Me Bae. In fact, if reports are to be believed, the actress is expected to feature in a hoity-toity avatar in this Amazon Prime series.

As per Peeping Moon reports, Ananya Panday will be seen in the role of a billionaire fashionista in the Karan Johar production Call Me Bae. From what we hear, the actress is expected to hail from an ultra-wealthy family and will be seen being caught in a sensational scandal. As she navigates her way through the repercussions, her character also sets out on a journey of self-discovery. The series is also expected to feature a stellar cast besides having Ananya Panday in the lead but the details are currently being kept under wraps. Collin D’Cunha who was supposed to direct Dostana 2, will be directing this series and Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair have written this series.

Ananya Panday has recently announced Dream Girl 2 with Ayushmann Khurrana and the actress will be seen alongside him for the first time. After completing it, the actress is expected to dive into Call Me Bae by the end of this year. The show is expected to premiere on Amazon Prime in the second half of 2023.

As for Ananya Panday, her association with Dharma Productions is a long standing one with the actress making her debut with Student Of The Year 2, followed by films like Gehraiyaan and the recent Liger opposite South star Vijay Deverakonda. Dharmatic Entertainment also producing her mother Bhavana Pandey’s show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives which also features the lives of Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, and Seema Sajdeh.

Ever since the announcement of Brahmastra, the film has been constantly in news. Despite the fact that the film released seven years after its announcement, the film has been receiving a massive response at the box office. Directed by Ayan Mukerj, the film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has been doing well at the box office. After, a stunning first week, the business of the film which also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy saw an immense spike on its second weekend. In fact, on National Cinemas Day, September 23, Brahmastra was one of the biggest crowd-pullers as the tickets were available for Rs. 75. Now owing to the same, the makers have decided to extend and retain the low fare of tickets. They have decided to retain the fare to Rs.100 for the next Navrati week.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the developments on social media adding, “’BRAHMASTRA’ ? 100 TICKET FROM MON – THU… After the phenomenal response on #NationalCinemaDay2022, #Brahmastra will be available at a special price of ? 100 from 26 to 29 Sept 2022 [#Navratri]…” Audiences have expressed their love for the fantasy adventure and director Ayan Mukerji has also promised that the next two instalments are already in the pipeline. Given the ticket pricing, trade predictions state that the business of Brahmastra will see further growth over the coming week with audience flocking to theatres over the festive occasion of Navratri. In fact, Brahmastra which has already managed to rake in Rs. 238.20 cr could well see its overall business crossing the Rs. 250 cr mark in the coming days.

For the uninitiated, Brahmastra Part One Shiva, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film is a fantasy adventure inspired by Indian mythology. Produced by Dharma Productions and Karan Johar, the film was released on September 9 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Superstar of the Telugu film industry Prabhas became the heartthrob of the nation after the release of Baahubali – The Beginning (2015). The blockbuster success of Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion (2017) and the super-success of Saaho (2019) cemented his position at the box office. Though Radhe Shyam (2022) failed, his popularity remains intact. Hence, there’s tremendous excitement for his next film, Adipurush.

Recently, there were reports that the much-awaited teaser of the film is expected to be out on October 3. Reportedly, Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and director Om Raut will be launching the promo at Ayodhya. Bollywood Hungama has learnt there has been a slight change in plans.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The teaser will be unveiled on Sunday, October 2. Prabhas along with the team of Adipurush will be in attendance in Ayodhya. This religious town in Uttar Pradesh is the birthplace of Lord Ram, on whom Adipurush is based. Hence, the makers thought that it’ll be apt to hold promotional activities there.”

Several people from the media fraternity in Mumbai will be flown down to Ayodhya to cover the event. The source said, “It’s not sure yet who all from the cast and crew of Adipurush will be present for the first look launch, besides Prabhas. However, the makers are confident that the event will be a memorable one as they have immense confidence about the product.”

Besides Prabhas, Adipurush also stars Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh and Vatsal Sheth. It is directed by Om Raut of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020) fame and produced by T-Series. The source continued, “Om Raut has proved his worth and knows how to make a grand film. Adipurush is expected to be a visual spectacle. The poster, as well as the teaser, will reflect the scale of the film and further enhance the hype.”

Meanwhile, Arjun Kumar, the head of the Luv-Kush Ramlila Committee confirmed that Prabhas will also attend the Ravan Dahan ceremony at Ramlila grounds, Delhi, on October 5, on the occasion of Dussehra.

Adipurush will be released in cinemas on January 12, 2023.
