With a common endeavour to create quality entertainment that is both fresh and unique, this is surely an exciting new collaboration. The untitled will be directed by Anees Bazmee best known for his mass entertainers and presented by Zee Studios and produced by Zee Studios and Echelon Productions.

Zee Studios CBO Shariq Patel shares, “We are happy to partner with Anees. It’s the concept that appealed instantly and I am excited to bring this story to audiences. I am sure his expertise in making massy entertaining films and Zee Studios’ strong distribution network will put forth a successful association.”

Writer-director Anees Bazmee said, “After the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, I want to give our audiences an even bigger dose of entertainment, and this time it will be a larger-than-life action comedy. I am very happy to team up with Zee Studios, Vishal Rana and Rohini Vakil for this project. This film will be something that the Indian audiences have never seen before, and I am very excited about it.”

Producer Vishal Rana from Echelon Production shares, “I am thrilled to team up with Anees Bazmee, who is one of the most successful filmmakers in our country today. Zee Studios has been a very integral part of my journey as a producer, and I am glad that they believed in our vision for this grand action comedy. This film will be a big-ticket theatrical entertainer.”

Presented and Produced by Zee Studios. The film is produced by Vishal Rana and Rohini Vakil of Echelon Productions, the untitled film will be released in 2023.

Ever since the announcement of Swatantra Veer Savarkar, the Randeep Hooda starrer has made headlines for various reasons. And, as per the latest development, the actor has taken over the directorial responsibilities as director Mahesh Manjrekar has opted out of the project. Yes! You read it right. 

According to the latest report of Peepingmoon, Randeep, who was cast to play the lead role only, will now also shoulder the responsibilities of the director of the upcoming biopic. The report also added that the shoot would kickstart in Maharashtra next week. However, the report did not mention the reason for Mahesh Manjreker’s exit. 

Talking about the film, the first look poster of Swatantra Veer Savarkar was dropped on the 139th birth anniversary of the freedom fighter which is on May 28. While sharing the look poster, Randeep wrote, “This is a salute to one of the tallest unsung heroes of India’s struggle for freedom and self-actualisation. I hope I can live up to the challenge of filling such big shoes of a true revolutionary and tell his real story which had been brushed under the carpet for so long”, in the caption.

To fit in the character and get into the skin of it, Hooda has lost almost 25kgs. The film is jointly produced under the banner of Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Legend Studios. The makers have not confirmed the release date of the film yet.

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was questioned for over 7 hours on Monday, September 19, by Delhi Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) in the Rs. 200 crore money laundering case. This was the second time the actress was grilled by the EOW. She was questioned for over eight hours last week.

It was earlier reported that the conman had allegedly offered a motorcycle to Jacqueline Fernandez’ agent Prashant on his birthday but the latter declined the gift. The police earlier revealed that Sukesh had left the motorcycle along with the keys at Prashant’s residence, which was later seized by the police.

Previously, the actress was accused of having a connection with Sukesh Chandrashekhar and it was alleged that about Rs. 7.27 crores of funds were seized from the actress in the name of proceeds of crime. The actress has been previously questioned thrice in the same case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

According to a report in News18 earlier, a fixed deposit worth Rs. 7.12 crore was allegedly attached to Jacqueline Fernandez’ name. Infact, the ED estimated that Sukesh gifted gifts “worth Rs. 5.71 crore to Jacqueline using the extortion money. It is also said that Sukesh gave funds close to $173,000 and around 27,000 Australian dollars to a few close members of Jacqueline’s family.”

In Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s statement recorded earlier under Section 50 of the PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act), Sukesh revealed that he gave as many as 15 pairs of earrings, five Birkin bags, and other luxury goods from brands like Chanel and Gucci to the actress. The conman also claimed that he gifted Jacqueline Cartier bangles and rings and a bracelet by Tiffany & Co. in addition to Rolex watches. He also claimed that he had given Jacqueline jewellery worth Rs. 7 crore and gifted her a horse named ‘Espuelah’.

In addition, Sukesh Chandrashekhar also extended a loan of $150,000 to Jacqueline Fernandez’ sister, who lives in the US. He allegedly also gave her a BMW X5 car and gifted Jacqueline’s parents a Maserati and her mother in Bahrain a Porsche. He reportedly also extended a loan of $50,000 to her brother in Australia.

In its chargesheet, the Delhi Police has accused Sukesh Chandrashekhar and 13 others of duping the wife of the former promoter of Ranbaxy to the tune of Rs. 200 crore. Officials believe Sukesh Chandrashekhar extorted Rs. 200 crore from the complainant by claiming that he would facilitate her husband’s release from prison.

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi is currently stationed in Kashmir shooting for his next, Ground Zero. He is accompanied by Sai Tamhankar who will reportedly play his wife in the upcoming film. However, recent reports cited that the actor had suffered injuries due to stone pelting incident that allegedly took place at a nearby market. It was also claimed that an FIR was registered following the incident. Now, Emraan Hashmi has taken to social media to clarify and said that the people of Kashmir have been warm and welcoming.

Emraan Hashmi on Tuesday morning took to his official Twitter account to inform that the reports about his injuries are inaccurate. He also stated that shooting in Kashmir has been amazing, especially in Srinagar and Pahalgam. “The people of Kashmir have been very warm and welcoming, it has been an absolute joy shooting in Srinagar and Pahalgam. The news of me being injured in a stone pelting incident is inaccurate,” he wrote on Twitter.

In Ground Zero, Emraan Hashmi is reportedly essaying the role of an Army officer. The military drama also stars Zoya Hussain. The cast and crew recently wrapped their schedule in Srinagar and are currently stationed at Pahalgam. The film is being helmed by Tejas Deoskar, who is best known for Madhuri Dixit’s Marathi debut film Bucket List.

Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi has an array of projects lined up, including Tiger 3 with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, the film will see Hashmi in the role of an antagonist. It is set for April 2023 theatrical release. Apart from this project, the actor is also starring in Selfiee along with Akshay Kumar. It is the Hindi remake of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Driving License and is slated for February 2023 release.

Prime Video on Monday announced that Purple Hearts breakout star Nicholas Galitzine will be seen next in The Idea of You in the role of Hayes Campbell, alongside Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway. The production of the Amazon Original movie will begin in October 2022.

The film, based on Robinne Lee’s bestselling eponymous contemporary novel based on Harry Styles, centers on Sophie (Hathaway), a 40-year-old divorced mother. Sophie’s husband Dan left her for a younger woman, and now he has cancelled his Coachella trip with their 15-year-old daughter. Sophie picks up the pieces and braves the crowds and desert heat. There, she meets 24-year-old Hayes Campbell (Galitzine), the lead singer of the best boy band on the planet, August Moon.

Michael Showalter will direct The Idea Of You. Academy Award-winning producer Cathy Schulman will produce the film via her Welle Entertainment label, joined by Gabrielle Union and Anne Hathaway via her Somewhere Pictures label. Robinne Lee, Eric Hayes, Michael Showalter, and Jordana Mollick. Jennifer Westfeldt wrote the screenplay and will executive produce. I’ll Have Another’s Kian Gass will also executive produce the project.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Galitzine will next be seen in Prime Video’s romantic comedy Red, White & Royal Blue, based on Casey McQuiston’s New York Times and USA Today best-selling novel of the same name and Bottoms from MGM’s Orion Pictures. He also recently starred as the male lead in Netflix’s Purple Hearts, alongside Sofia Carson, and as Prince Robert in Prime Video’s Cinderella, opposite Camila Cabello.
