After a tepid August, the month of September was keenly awaited. After all, two of the most awaited films – Brahmastra and Vikram Vedha – will release in cinemas this month. Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, would be out this Friday, on September 9 while the trailer of Vikram Vedha would be released on September 8. The teaser has got a fabulous response and hence, all eyes are on the trailer.

Bollywood Hungama has learnt of an interesting development. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The trailer of Vikram Vedha will be shown before Brahmastra in cinemas. The trailer will not be attached to the prints of the superhero film. The theatres have been asked to play the trailer just before Brahmastra starts. The exhibitors have agreed to this request as they know that Vikram Vedha looks like a potential hit.”

The source continued, “Brahmastra is going to have a wide release and the hype is terrific. Hence, the makers of Vikram Vedha felt that the trailer of their film would get a lot of viewership. Moviegoers, too, would get a chance to catch the trailer on the big screen.”

Meanwhile, reports state that the trailers of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Avatar 2: The Way Of Water have been attached with the prints of Brahmastra. This means that viewers would be in for a treat as they’ll get to catch trailers of three highly awaited flicks of 2022 while they venture out to see Brahmastra.

Vikram Vedha stars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan and is an official remake of a Tamil film of the same name. Interestingly, the teaser of the film was supposed to be released in the second week of August and was to be shown before the shows of Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan. The plan was changed and the teaser was unveiled on August 24.

The source assured, “However, this time, there’ll be no change in plans. Vikram Vedha’s trailer will be out online on September 8. The makers have made the formal announcement.” When asked if there’ll be an event for the trailer release, the source replied in the negative and signed off.

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is on the signing spree following the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. A day ago, Bollywood Hungama reported that the actor has signed another project which is set to be directed by Anurag Basu. It is a romantic saga. Now, it’s confirmed that the actor and the filmmaker are coming together for the third installment of the hit Aashiqui franchise. The leading lady is yet to be cast.

As per a report in Variety, Kartik Aaryan has signed Aashiqui 3, a project produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Vishesh Films. While the first part was released in 1990 starring Annu Agarwal and Rahul Roy, Aashiqui 2 featured Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor and released in 2013. It was helmed by Mohit Suri and the music was widely loved by the audience. Pritam is on board to compose music.

Kartik Aaryan made the announcement on Monday with a photo featuring Anurag Basu, Pritam, Mukesh Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar.

On the work front, Kartik Aaryan has Shehzada, which is the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Freddy, Captain India and Satyaprem Ki Katha. He also has a project with Kabir Khan.

India’s one of the most popular game shows, Kaun Banega Crorepati, is back with its 14th season. Along with the contestant, a bunch of Indian celebrities will also join the game. Interestingly, in the upcoming episode of KBC 14, weightlifter Mirabai Chanu will appear with boxer Nikhat Zareen.

Giving a sneak peek into the episode, the channel shared a short video clip, in which Mirabai Chanu can be seen requesting Big B to perform his iconic ‘Vijay Dinanath Chauhan’ monologue from his film Agneepath. The audience applauded as Amitabh gladly did the speech at the weightlifting champion’s request.

The video clip features Amitabh adopting Vijay’s body language and delivering the famous line, “Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, baap ka naam Dinanath Chauhan, umar 36 saal, 9 mahina, 8 din aur ye 16 ghanta chaalu hai.”

In the upcoming episode, both the Gold Medalists will play the game while sharing some lesser-known incidents of their life. In one of the snippets, Zareen will talk about an incident when she was beaten black and blue with a bleeding nose during a wrestling match. Nikkhat also revealed that after seeing her injured, her mother started crying and expressed her concern for the athlete’s marriage. Upon this, Zareen had told her mom, “Ammi aap tension kyu lerahi ho, agar naam hoga to dulho ki line lag jaani hai”.

The episode will telecast on Sony channel on September 5, 2022. In one of the earlier episodes, actor Amir Khan also participated in the show along with two army officials ahead of his latest release Laal Singh Chaddha.

Days after the demolition of Noida’s twin tower, Kundali Bhagya actor Manit Joura had revealed that he owned two flats in it. In a video shared by Manit’s co-star Shraddha Arya on Thursday, the former candidly talked about the difficulties, revealing that the government had recovered 70% of the money it had invested. Talking about the same in detail with ETime, Manit shared that they did not know there was a case against the builders pertaining to the construction.

The Naagin 6 actor said, “Yes, my father had bought two flats in the twin towers, Apex and Ceyane. He bought one flat in 2011 and another in 2013 as an investment for me. We didn’t know there was a case going on against the builders regarding certain issues pertaining to this construction. It was our right to know about it, but they chose not to tell us.”

As his conversation progressed further, Joura asserted, “My father had dreamt of having a nice place at a good location, but that didn’t happen. The Supreme Court gave a judgment that the builders will have to pay the buyers the interest on the amount given to them. However, they paid us the interest amount for just a few months, and that’s when we filed another case.”

Giving further information, he added, “after that, they started paying us in small amounts for some time, which didn’t really help because what we had paid for the property was a hefty amount.”

Sharing his piece of mind of the demolition of the supertech towers, Manit continued and said, “It was painful. I didn’t even see the video of the demolition and didn’t speak to my parents about it. We have received some amount from the builders, which the court had ordered them to give, but that amount is not close to what the market value of the flats is currently.”

On August 28, the twin skyscrapers were demolished due to their violation of laws, building regulations, and fire safety standards.

Anurag Basu is  all set to direct  Kartik Aaryan, the star who is currently ruling box office charts in commercial Hindi cinema. He is being offered films.by several notable directors and producers.

Kartik has recently signed films with the likes of Sajid Nadiadwala  and  Kabir Khan. He is reported to be  stepping into completely new territory with Anurag Basu.

“It is  a romantic film that shows a kind of love story we haven’t seen  in our cinema. Anurag Basu’s film will give Kartik a  chance to extend his performing skills beyond anything he has done so far,” a source informs.

Kartik will next be seen in Shehzada, a mammoth-sized masala entertainer  which after the  blockbuster status  of  Kartik’s Bhool Bhulaiya 2 is the biggest  Bollywood project of 2023.
