The teaser of War 2 gave fans a thrilling glimpse of the face-off between Hrithik Roshan’s R&AW agent Kabir Dhaliwal and Jr NTR’s mysterious antagonist. While the teaser created massive buzz, many fans were left wondering — will there be a dance battle between the two superstars? It turns out, yes — but there was a delay.

The much-anticipated dance-off, originally scheduled to be shot in the first week of March, had to be postponed due to Hrithik Roshan’s leg injury. Now, according to the latest buzz, director Ayan Mukerji is planning to shoot the song in the last week of June.

The track will be filmed at Yash Raj Studios in Andheri, where a huge set is being built. A report by Mid-Day quoted a source close to the production, “The team had been preparing for two months and everything was set for March. But Hrithik’s injury forced them to cancel the shoot. Now that he has recovered, both actors will begin rehearsals in the first week of June.”

The shoot is expected to last 10 days and will mark the final schedule of the action-packed spy thriller, which also stars Kiara Advani. The film is set to release in cinemas on August 14, 2025.

The report also added that producer Aditya Chopra and director Ayan Mukerji want the dance number to be a major visual treat. “The setup is grand. The production has sent a circular to all crew members banning phones on set. A 60-member security team has also been hired to prevent leaks,” the source said.

With two powerhouse performers sharing the screen and stage, fans can look forward to a high-energy dance sequence.

The Sajid Nadiadwala-produced Housefull 5 is the most awaited film of the Hindi Film Industry, and recently, it was revealed that two versions of the Akshay Kumar starrer have been submitted to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The same raised eyebrows, and the thought behind the two versions have been the discussion point in the digital world.

And now, we have an exclusive scoop that Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 5 will release with two versions in cinema halls. “Both versions will have different killers. It’s called Housefull 5 and Housefull 5 A. If the killer is X in Housefull 5, the killer would be Y in Housefull 5A. The idea is to evoke repeat watch from the audience, as the last 20 minutes will be an altogether fresh experience, with different tides in comedy. Book My Show will also distinctively list both the versions, to give a clear picture to audiences,” a source told Bollywood Hungama.

It’s a one-of-its-kind unique strategy, and the entire industry is bullish to see how the audience reacts to the strategy of the same film releasing with two distinctly different climaxes. “This would also lead to more conversation post the film’s release, as different set of audiences will get to witness different killers. Only Sajid Nadiadwala could come up with such an innovation,” the source tells us further.

Housefull 5 is all set to release on June 6, 2025. The film has the longest ensemble for a Hindi film, with 19 actors coming together for total chaos.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga has stirred the internet with a fiery note on X (formerly Twitter) seemingly directed at an actress who exited his upcoming film Spirit starring Prabhas. While he refrained from naming anyone, fans and industry insiders are convinced the statement was aimed at Deepika Padukone, who was initially roped in as the female lead in the much-anticipated action drama.

In his post, Sandeep Reddy Vanga wrote, “When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA(Non Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, You’ve ‘DISCLOSED’ the person that you are…. Putting down a Younger actor and ousting my story? Is this what your feminism stands for ? As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft & for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn’t get it. You won’t get it. You will never get it. Aisa karo…. Agli baar poori kahani bolna… kyunki mujhe jarra bhi farak nahi padtha. #dirtyPRgames I like this kahawath very much 🙂 खुंदक में बिल्ली खंबा नोचे!”

A source had revealed to us, “Sandeep Reddy Vanga got the shock of his life when Deepika Padukone refused to shoot for more than 6 hours a day for Spirit. That’s not all, the actress, via her agency, also started to demand an amendment to the contract. Their point of contention was simple—if the shoot extends beyond 100 days, Deepika will have to be paid extra for every single day of shoot beyond the commitment on paper”.

The fallout seems to have been swift. Earlier this week, T-Series officially confirmed that Animal breakout star Tripti Dimri has stepped into the leading role in Spirit, marking another major project in her rapidly rising career. Triptii Dimri to play hot doctor opposite Prabhas in Spirit; Sandeep Reddy Vanga to craft sizzling and bold romance like never before

Ever since the exit of Deepika Padukone, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga-directed Spirit is the most discussed film of Indian Cinema. The film is making headlines for all the controversies, which have taken the hype of this Prabhas starrer to another level. After all the drama of Deepika Padukone’s exit, Sandeep Reddy Vanga announced Triptii Dimri as the female lead of Spirit. And now, we have exciting details about her character in the film.

Very reliable sources close to the project have confirmed that Triptii Dimri plays the role of a doctor in Spirit. “Triptii Dimri plays the part of a hot doctor who falls in love with Prabhas. With Spirit, Sandeep Reddy Vanga will be breaking the norm of conventional romance, as a doctor falls in love with a cop. He has designed intense romantic moments and strong drama in Spirit,” a source told Bollywood Hungama exclusively.

Much like Animal, Vanga plans to present Tripti at her glamorous best. “Triptii is Vanga’s blue-eyed girl. He gave her a big break in Animal, and is continuing the association in Spirit and Animal Park,” the source told us further.

Spirit begins in October, and the film is a global action thriller, slated to release in 9 different languages. The film stars Prabhas as a cop, and Triptii Dimri as a doctor. Earlier, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were cast as the negative leads, but the deal fell through, and the makers are now recasting for the same.

Earlier this year, Bollywood Hungama was the first to report that Dhadak 2 had run into trouble at the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film, based on caste oppression, was initially stuck due to its sensitive content. It has now been cleared with a U/A 16+ rating, though not without significant alterations.

According to The Hindu, several dialogues were revised, especially those referencing caste history and discrimination. Phrases like “3,000 years of backlog” and caste-specific slurs were replaced or muted. A scene involving public urination was removed entirely, while another sequence showing the humiliation of a character’s father was trimmed. The CBFC also modified a poem recital and requested a revised disclaimer, now extended to 1 minute and 51 seconds and to be read aloud during the film.

Dhadak 2 is a Hindi adaptation of the 2018 Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal, directed by Mari Selvaraj. The remake is helmed by Shazia Iqbal, who makes her directorial debut with the project. John Abraham launched the graphic novel, ‘Lakadbaggha: The Prologue’, written by actor-filmmaker Anshuman Jha and illustrated by American Comic book artist Brittain Peck. The novel is based on the film Lakadbaggha (2023), which starred Anshuman in the lead role of an animal vigilante. Ridhi Dogra, who also featured in the film, also graced the launch. At the event, John Abraham gave some headline-worthy quotes and also confirmed his upcoming projects.

John Abraham revealed, “Very interestingly, my director has written a comic book called ‘Munkeeman’. We are making a film on it now. It’s interesting to talk about it. The name of the director is Abhishek Sharma. I have done a film with him called Parmanu (2018). He’s a very smart and intelligent guy. The subject matter is something very interesting. I love animals and that’s why we are doing that movie.”

‘Munkeeman’ was launched in 2012. It is inspired by the Monkey Man incident that occurred that year in Delhi. The synopsis of the book on the internet is as follows, “In the summer of 2001 a strange creature created panic and chaos in the city of Delhi. No one had an explanation or clue about his true identity. Then suddenly one day he vanished, never to return until today Munkeeman is back. And he wants you to know that he is not a monster, but India’s own authentic superhero.” Abhishek Sharma also directed films like Tere Bin Laden (2010) and Ram Setu (2022).

Meanwhile, John Abraham looked dashing, especially with his new moustache look. A reporter asked if it was his look for the Rakesh Maria biopic. John Abraham said, “Ji.” When asked about his experience of doing the film, he replied, “Very good,” and refused to speak further. The Rakesh Maria biopic is directed by blockbuster director Rohit Shetty.

There is a widespread campaign on the internet to cast the talented Pankaj Tripathi as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte in Priyadarshan’s Hera Pheri 3 after Paresh Rawal’s exit from the project.

“Logon ne toh posters aur meme bhi banana shuru kar diya hai,” laughed Pankaj as I catch him amidst his jampacked schedule (for the record, he forsook his lunch to chat with me). So is there any truth to this rumour? “That I am playing Baburao? None at all! No truth. I have not even been approached to play the part. This is more wishful thinking of fans than fact.”

By fans of Pankaj or the Baburao character in Hera Pheri? “Both! Somehow they feel I am the best man to play the character after the original (Paresh Rawal). But I haven’t been offered the role. And even if I did get the offer, I don’t think I would want to step into the iconic part. Log compare karenge kha-ma-kha. It would not be something I want.”

About the fan-love that impels this phantom casting, Pankaj said, “I am flattered that fans feel I can fill those shoes. That character from Hera Pheri is iconic.”
