After captivating audiences with his versatile performances, Ali Fazal is set to headline another high-octane action thriller series, this time collaborating with the acclaimed Prosit Roy, director of Paatal Lok Season 1. Adding to the excitement, the film will also feature the ever-graceful Sonali Bendre in a pivotal role. Ali Fazal has become the most prominent actor headlining major shows and will he another addition soon. Set to shoot quickly in April, the actor is expected to be seen in an avatar like never before.

The yet-to-be-titled project will commence production in mid-2025, once Ali Fazal wraps up his current commitments with Raj & DK’s period fantasy drama series, Rakht Brahmand.

Speaking about the collaboration, a source close to the production shared, “This series is designed to be a thrilling, large-scale action spectacle, unlike anything Ali has done before. Prosit Roy’s unique vision and storytelling prowess make him the perfect director to helm this project. With Ali’s dedication to his craft and Sonali Bendre’s strong screen presence, we are looking at a film that will push boundaries in both narrative depth and action sequences. The series promises to be a gripping cinematic experience, blending intense action with a deeply layered narrative. Along with this new series, Ali Fazal is also gearing up for the much-anticipated Mirzapur: The Film releases of Metro In Dino, Lahore 1947, the pan-India film Thug Life, his Hollywood venture Rule Breakers, and Rakht Brahmand.

Popular crime investigation series CID will now be available on Netflix. The first 18 episodes of Season 2 will be available for streaming from February 21, with new episodes releasing every Saturday and Sunday at 10 pm starting February 21.

Netflix announced the update on its official Instagram account and wrote, “CID, ab Netflix ke darwaze par bhi. Kal se dekhiye CID naye season ke saare released episodes Netflix par bhi! Saath hi naye episodes har Shanivaar aur Ravivaar raat 10 baje.”

First aired in 1998, CID follows a team of crime investigators solving complex cases. The series features ACP Pradyuman, Daya, and Abhijeet, among others, as they work on different cases involving criminal activities, forensic investigations, and law enforcement procedures. Known for its distinct investigative approach, the show has maintained a dedicated audience over the years.

With its availability on Netflix, viewers now have an additional platform to watch the series along with its television telecast. The digital release allows access to previously aired episodes while keeping up with new ones. This move aligns with the growing trend of making television content available on streaming platforms, reaching a broader audience.

Episodes will continue to air on television, and now, those who prefer streaming can watch them on Netflix as well. New episodes will be added every weekend at 10 pm.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Abhishek Banerjee is currently shooting a project at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The actor has now revealed more details about the project in an interview with us.

Abhishek, what is this secret project you are shooting at Kumbh Mela?
Hi sir, it is Bharat Bala’s film. A R Rahman is doing the music. Me, Shahana Goswami and Neeraj Kabi are the actors in it.

How has your life changed with success?
Nothing. Just message boxes are fuller than ever! And I don’t have social media managers like the stars do. What has changed is the recognition and love on the streets . It’s overwhelming sometimes, especially the kids. I feel very lucky that now I am known across ages and classes in India and abroad. And this without any paid PR.

More diamonds for the wife and more milk for your cat?
Wife is not into diamonds and Kiwi hates milk. So, home front, not much changes.

How do you look back on the past year?
It’s been a great year for me. In factm 2024 was my best year as an actor, right from two releases on the same day Stree 2 and Vedaa on August 15, to hosting IIFA and sharing the stage with SRK (Shah Rukh Khan). Felt like a dream those few months.

What would you consider the highlight of your career?
I think biggest highlight was Stree 2 becoming an all-time Hindi blockbuster. Both Vedaa and Stree 2 releasing on 15th August. And of course, hugging Sha Rukh Khan.

Any regrets?
Only regret is, I didn’t time-manage well enough to travel abroad and see some new countries and culture.

What can we expect from you this year?
I have four releases this year. So, I pray and hope all of them taste success. And I can’t wait to be back on set and kill it.

The Goa government has declared the Hindi film Chhaava tax-free in the state. The biopic, featuring Vicky Kaushal as Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, hit theaters on February 14.

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced on X that Chhaava is tax-free in the state, stating that Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s sacrifice is an inspiration for people.

Goa CM Pramod Sawant announced on X, “It gives pleasure to me to announce that movie Chhaava based on the life & sacrifice of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, will be Tax Free in Goa.”

He added, “The Movie exploring the valor, courage of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj for Dev, Desh and Dharma played by Vicky Kaushal, is bringing the glorious history to the screen. The sacrifice of the second Chhatrapati of the Hindavi Swarajya, who valiantly fought against Moghuls, the Portuguese is an inspiration for all of us.”

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also declared Chhaava tax-free in the state on Wednesday. The announcements from both states coincided with the 395th birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Maratha Empire and father of Chhatrapati Sambhaji.

Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna, is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films. Based on Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel Chhava, the film has received positive reviews from both audiences and critics. It is on track to become the first Bollywood film of 2025 to cross the ₹200-crore mark and has surpassed Sky Force (₹112 crore) to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year.

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has leased two lavish duplex apartments in Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill locality, paying an annual rent of Rs 2.90 crore. The properties, located in the Puja Casa building, have been rented from actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani and his sister, Deepshika. The apartments are near SRK’s iconic sea-facing bungalow, Mannat, but the reason behind this additional rental is yet to be disclosed.

Rental Details and Terms of Lease
According to reports, SRK will be paying a combined monthly rent of Rs 24.15 lakh for both duplexes. The lease spans three years (36 months), securing the property for the long term. While one of the apartments has been leased directly from Jackky Bhagnani, the other is co-leased by both Jackky and his sister Deepshika. Pali Hill, home to several Bollywood A-listers, is considered one of Mumbai’s most sought-after residential areas.
Why Has SRK Taken These Apartments?
The reason behind Shah Rukh Khan renting additional living space despite owning Mannat remains unknown. Speculation suggests that the apartments could be for personal use, extended family, or professional purposes. Given SRK’s stature in the industry, acquiring premium real estate near his residence could also be a strategic investment or expansion plan.
