Aditya Chopra is focusing all his energies on the highly-ambitious YRF spyverse which is all set to welcome the sixth film in the universe after three installments of Tiger, Pathaan, and War. With Hrithik Roshan returning as the agent, War 2 is expected to mark the Bollywood debut of South superstar Jr NTR. Not too long ago, the RRR actor had arrived in Mumbai to complete a major schedule of the movie and now he has returned to his hometown Hyderabad after completing the shoot and also casted his vote at the recent elections.

In a recent video which is being shared by paparazzo accounts on social media, Jr. NTR is seen at the Mumbai airport as he is reportedly making his way back to Hyderabad to complete his other commitments. We hear that the Telugu superstar has completed a major portion of War 2 including a showdown scene with the leading man of the film Hrithik Roshan.

While further details are kept under wraps, the South actor has been garnering ample anticipation regarding his role as reports suggest that he will be seen in a one-of-a-kind role in the movie. It is being said that the film will feature Hrithik Roshan in the role of Agent Kabir, whereas, the character essayed by Jr NTR is expected be that of a mafia or a gangster.

War 2 also expected to feature Kiara Advani in the leading role with the actress marking her first association with the YRF spyverse. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film is slated to release next year, on August 14, a day before India’s Independence Day.  Apart from taking audiences on a thrilling ride with high-octane stunts, we hear that the film will also feature subtle references to other franchises which are a part of the spyverse including Pathaan and Tiger.

Mithun Chakraborty, a veteran Bollywood actor, recently shared a touching moment on the reality TV show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, where he recounted a personal story of heartbreak and redemption. Reflecting on his early days in showbiz, Mithun disclosed an incident when he faced heartbreak after being abandoned by someone he loved during tough times. Recalling the past, Mithun remarked, “I fell in love and had gone completely mad. But one day she left me.”

During a journey on an airplane, Mithun encountered the same girl who had left him during his struggles. Despite her attempts to avoid eye contact, Mithun approached her and addressed the situation. He recalled, “I was travelling in an aeroplane and that girl was also in the same plane. She did not look at me. So, I got up and went up to her and asked why she was not looking at me.”

Surprisingly, upon hearing Mithun’s words, the girl became visibly emotional, expressing regret for her past actions. She confessed, “I think I have made a mistake. At that time, I shouldn’t have done that to you.” In response, Mithun offered words of understanding and forgiveness, acknowledging the role her decision played in shaping his journey. He reassured her, stating, “Maybe if you hadn’t done that, I would not have been able to become this legend.”

Alia Bhatt posted a picture on Instagram giving her fans a peek of how she celebrated Mother’s Day at home with Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Soni Razadan, and Shaheen Bhatt.

In the picture the family sat together on a balcony full of beautiful light decorations. Shaheen and Ranbir were seen sitting beside their mothers and Alia sat between Soni and Neetu Kapoor. The smiling faces lit the picture even more alongside the cute umbrella held by Neetu Kapoor.

The family twined in all white outfits which added more to the elegant simplicity. Alia wore a shirt dress whereas Ranbir opted for a sleeveless T-shirt and black pants. Neetu was seen in a matching white shirt and trousers. Soni Razadan and Shahneen Bhatt also shared the theme by wearing white outfits. The actress was recently seen at Met Gala 2024 hosted in New York, leaving everyone starry-eyed in a beautiful Sabyasachi saree. She shared, “I really believed that I had multiple friends… People are not capable of sitting with anybody’s pain, let alone their own pain. We always try to find excuses to not feel pain. We want to escape pain. That’s human nature. I found myself very lonely, and I realised that only my immediate family was around me.” Despite the abandonment by others, Manisha found solace in the unwavering support of her immediate family.

Highlighting the significance of her immediate family, Manisha emphasized their reliability and unwavering presence during her toughest times. She stated, “And I realised that when everybody leaves me, these are the people who will be with me. My priority is my immediate family, no matter what. They come first in my life, everybody else later.” Despite facing immense challenges, Manisha remains grateful for the steadfast support of her family, acknowledging their pivotal role in her journey towards recovery and healing.

Zendaya appears to have inspired Janhvi Kapoor’s fashion choices. The actor, who debuted the trailer for her next film Mr & Mrs Mahi on Sunday, took to Instagram Stories to say that she is ‘heavily inspired’ by Zendaya’s appearances during the marketing for Dune 2 and Challengers, and is attempting to emulate them for her own film.

During a recent Instagram Stories AMA, a fan asked Janhvi, ‘Is it true that you’re copying Zendaya?’ Responding to this question, she said, “Yes, I think I am very heavily inspired by what she [Zendaya] did for her Challengers and Dune promotions. And not just her, even Uorfi [Javed]. How creative she is with her fashion. I feel like as actors we all are encouraged to kind of do method dressing or dress similar to your characters while promoting a film. I haven’t really done it except for Dhadak but when I saw her doing it so well, dressed up in accordance to the theme of the film… I realized that as actors there is a good amount of attention put on how we look and how we dress, and if I can use that to bring attention back to my film then why not?”

“Mother Zendaya showed us the way. She showed us how to do it really well. So yes, definitely inspired by that and just hoping to follow her footsteps,” she also added. Zendaya has been offering back-to-back red carpet looks throughout the global promotional tour for her latest movies, Dune 2 and Challengers.

Janhvi recently wore a blouse with the number 6 printed on it, a blatant reference to her character in the film Mr & Mrs Mahi, who wears a number 6 jersey. She also donned a crimson cut-out dress with cricket balls fastened to the back last week to promote the flick. The trailer featured her character, a doctor, going through rigorous training to become a cricketer. The film, directed by Sharan Sharma, opens in theatres on May 31.

The actress also has Ulajh and her Telugu debut in Jr NTR’s forthcoming action movie Devara: Part 1 in the works.

Shreyas Talpade, the actor who underwent an angioplasty following a heart attack last year, intends to avoid accepting jobs involving action and strong drama until he has fully recovered. After collapsing at home on December 14, 2023, the ‘Om Shanti Om’ actress was hospitalized in Mumbai for a week before being released.

Talpade stated that he is presently going cautiously, awaiting the release of his forthcoming film Kartam Bhugtam. “There are certain limitations right now because my recovery is still in progress. My doctors have said ‘Another six months and you should be as good as new’. So, I will wait. But till that time, there are some films that I am working on which probably do not have those kind of action sequences or high-intensity drama sequences which I might not be able to do immediately,” Talpade shared with PTI during an interview.

Shreyas Talpade previously described his heart attack, implying that it might be related to the Covid-19 vaccination. In an interview with Lehren Retro, he claimed that despite taking care of his health, he still had heart attacks. He stated that he cannot rule out the likelihood of vaccine-related health concerns. Shreyas stated that he does not smoke and very sometimes drinks alcohol.

“I don’t smoke. I’m not really a regular drinker, I drink perhaps once a month. No tobacco, yes, my cholesterol was a little high, which I was told is normal these days. I was taking medication for that, and it had come down reasonably. So, if all the factors–no diabetes, no blood pressure, nothing, then what could be the reason?” he said.

He said that despite taking good care of his health, if such a health scare occurred, there must be some other reason. Shreyas continued, “I would not negate the theory. It was only after the Covid-19 vaccination is when I started experiencing some fatigue and tiredness. There has to be some amount of truth, and we cannot negate the theory. Maybe it is Covid or the vaccine, but there is something associated post that…It is very unfortunate because we genuinely don’t know what we have taken inside our bodies. We went with the flow and trusted the companies. I never heard of such incidents before Covid-19.”

Shreyas Talpade’s psychological thriller Kartam Bhugtam, directed by Soham P Shah, is set to hit theaters on May 17.

Furthermore, the actor has notable roles in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency, portraying former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the comedy film Welcome to the Jungle, and will once again lend his voice to the iconic character Pushpa Raj, played by Allu Arjun, in the Hindi-dubbed version of Pushpa 2: The Rule.

This video, likely created using artificial intelligence (AI), convincingly replicated Soni’s voice, giving the false impression that he supports betting activities. Soni swiftly denounced the video, clarifying that he has no association with it.

Following the viral spread of the video, Anup Soni took proactive steps to condemn the act, releasing a statement to clarify that he had no association with the doctored content. This incident underscored the dangers and widespread impact of deepfake technology, highlighting the potential for misleading representations of celebrities that can deceive the public. Soni’s response brought attention to the need for vigilance and awareness surrounding the misuse of AI-driven manipulations in media.

Deepfakes, a combination of “deep learning” and “fake,” are the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to edit video or audio recordings, sometimes resulting in convincing but misleading imitations of actual individuals. In the instance of Anup Soni, his likeness was used to promote unlawful activities, creating anguish and raising worries about the consequences for celebrities’ reputations.

The video in issue, which encouraged internet users to join Telegram groups, received millions of views, demonstrating how quickly such information spreads online. After the video became viral, Soni himself issued a warning stating, “This is a completely fake video and we all have to be alert as to how and to what extent things are getting manipulated these days. The voice totally seems like I’m only saying. Even video clips are from Crime Patrol. Please be alert people!!”

Unfortunately, Soni is not the only star who has been targeted by deepfake makers.
