Varun Dhawan has officially wrapped up the Scotland schedule of his upcoming romantic comedy Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. On May 30, the actor took to Instagram to share a carousel post filled with behind-the-scenes glimpses from the shoot.

“It’s a schedule wrap for us here in Scotland on #haijawaanitohishqhonahai. So many days everyone pulling together to make this happen. Bringing u all the laughs soon. Now back home,” Varun wrote in the caption, expressing gratitude towards the team.

Ajay Devgn’s much-anticipated family thriller, Drishyam 3, is officially slated for release on October 2, 2026 — a date that’s not just iconic but deeply symbolic for the franchise’s devoted fanbase.

Back in 2000, Hrithik Roshan had just burst onto the big screen like a meteor with Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai – and what followed was nothing short of hysteria! The debutant wasn’t just winning hearts across the nation, he was inspiring some extreme fan moments, especially in Calcutta, according to Film Information magazine.

Believe it or not, there were actual reports of schoolgirls in Calcutta trying to sneak out of their homes, hoping to catch a flight – or even a train – to Mumbai just to catch a glimpse of their Bollywood crush. The situation got so intense that local police reportedly intercepted over a dozen teens attempting to make their way to the city of dreams!

Alarmed by this level of Hrithik fever, a group of school principals in Calcutta came together and decided to take action. They reached out to none other than Mithun Chakraborty to pass along a message to the new superstar. The request? A gentle appeal to his young fans to stay grounded – quite literally!

Hrithik, the gentleman that he is, promptly sent back a faxed message (yes, this was the 2000s!) saying, “The girls need not come to Mumbai. I will be in the city (Calcutta) for them.” And true to his word, the Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai star visited Calcutta the very next month, much to the joy (and relief) of fans and educators.

But here’s the twist: some forward-thinking educators even considered channeling this craze into the classroom! One principal suggested using Hrithik as a fun reference point in academic subjects – teaching Geography by noting Mumbai as the capital of Maharashtra, “where Hrithik hails from,” or Biology with quirky trivia like “the longest bone in Hrithik Roshan’s body is the femur.”

The multi-starrer killer comedy Housefull 5 is all set to release in a week’s time and the excitement is tremendous. The makers completed the censor process in time and Bollywood Hungama, in this article, will focus on the cuts given to the film.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passed the film with a U/A 16+ certificate. However, the makers have been asked to make certain modifications. Talking about audio cuts, the dialogue ‘nikal dungi’ was modified. Another dialogue starting with ‘apne’ was also asked to be tweaked. The words ‘item’ and ‘haram’ were replaced with suitable terms. A dialogue at 1 hour and 53 minutes was asked to be deleted.

Three visual cuts were given to the film. The cut list states that a scene of ‘champagne comming’ was reduced. Two scenes of hand gestures were ‘suitably modified’. Lastly, a scene consisting of ‘sensual visuals’ was reduced by 2 seconds. In all, 11 seconds of footage was censored.

Once these changes were made, the CBFC granted the censor certificate to Housefull 5 on May 28. The length of the film, as mentioned on the censor certificate, is 165.48 minutes. In other words, Housefull 5 is 2 hours 45 minutes and 48 seconds long.

Interestingly, there are 2 censor certificates for the film as two versions of the film will play in cinemas in a first-of-its-kind strategy. While one version is mentioned as Housefull 5A, the other is called Housefull 5B in censor records. What’s fascinating is that both versions have the exact same run time – 165.48 minutes.

Topping the list, #AbhishekBachchan proves once again that he’s one of the most dynamic and consistent names in streaming. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has barred actor Arshad Warsi, his wife Maria Goretti, and 57 other individuals from accessing the securities market for a period ranging from one to five years. The penalties were imposed in connection with a market manipulation scheme involving Sadhna Broadcast Ltd, now known as Crystal Business System Ltd.

One-Year Ban for Arshad Warsi and Maria Goretti
As per SEBI’s final order, both Arshad Warsi and Maria Goretti have been fined Rs 5 lakh each and prohibited from trading in the securities market for one year. The market regulator also revealed that Arshad made profits of Rs 41.7 lakh, while Maria earned Rs 50.35 lakh from the scheme.

In total, 59 entities have been directed to jointly and severally disgorge unlawful gains amounting to Rs 58.01 crore, along with 12% interest per annum from the end of the investigation period until full repayment.
Pump-and-Dump Scheme Uncovered
SEBI’s 109-page order detailed a “classic pump-and-dump” strategy executed in two phases:

Phase 1: Promoter-linked entities engaged in collusive trades to inflate the stock price of Sadhna Broadcast, creating an artificial appearance of market interest.
Phase 2: Misleading promotional videos were released on YouTube channels such as Moneywise, The Advisor, and Profit Yatra — all operated by accused Manish Mishra — to attract unsuspecting retail investors. These videos timed with the inflated market activity enabled the perpetrators to offload their shares at higher prices.

Key Figures Identified
SEBI identified Gaurav Gupta, Rakesh Kumar Gupta, and Manish Mishra as the masterminds of the operation. Subhash Aggarwal acted as an intermediary between Mishra and the promoters, while Peeyush Agarwal and Lokesh Shah were found to have facilitated the use of certain accounts for executing manipulative trades. Jatin Shah was also named as a key player in implementing the scheme.

The regulator noted that while several entities did not trade using their own accounts, they acted as information carriers or supported manipulative trading practices.
Violations and Legal Consequences
All 59 entities were found to have violated SEBI’s Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices (PFUTP) Regulations. Apart from fines ranging between Rs 5 lakh and Rs 5 crore, SEBI has initiated steps to recover the ill-gotten gains from the accused parties.

No monetary penalty has been levied on Varun Media Pvt Ltd, a promoter entity, due to ongoing insolvency proceedings. However, the disgorgement direction will remain in force.
Background of the Case
SEBI began investigating the matter after receiving complaints between July and September 2022 about potential price manipulation and misleading YouTube content promoting Sadhna Broadcast. A preliminary interim order was passed in March 2023 against 31 entities, including the company’s promoters. The final order, passed by SEBI Whole-Time Member Ashwani Bhatia, consolidates findings from the full investigation covering March 8 to November 30, 2022.

Ever since its announcement, Saiyaara, produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF) and directed by Mohit Suri, has been hugely anticipated as it brings together YRF and Mohit both known for creating timeless love stories.

Today, YRF released the teaser of Saiyaara, an intense love story that introduces Ahaan Panday as a hero to the Hindi film industry and also stars Aneet Padda (who stole hearts with her brilliant performance in the much-acclaimed series Big Girls Don’t Cry) as the female lead. Saiyaara is produced by the company’s CEO Akshaye Widhani.

There has been a tremendous amount of curiosity around the title Saiyaara, and the teaser revealed its meaning. Saiyaara plainly means a wandering celestial body, but in poetry it’s often used to describe something (or someone) dazzling, ethereal, or otherworldly — a wandering star – always shining, always guiding, but always out of reach.

YRF, in its 50-year history, is known for giving India some of the cult romantic films of all time, primarily directed by Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra. Mohit Suri, who is currently in his 20th year in cinema, has also directed some of the most favourite romantic films like Aashiqui 2, Malang, Ek Villain, etc.

Saiyaara is set to release on July 18, 2025 in theatres worldwide.
