Karanvir Sharma, who was seen in the Yami Gautam starrer A Thursday and later gained love as Haider in the Zee TV show Rabb Se Hai Dua, might have bagged one of the big releases in the coming year. As per sources, the actor has been approached for Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming film Lahore 1947, backed by Aamir Khan Productions. The film has gone on floors recently and stars Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi along with an ensemble cast.

An industry source informed, “Not many are aware that Karanvir Sharma was in talks with the veteran filmmaker during Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani but the collaboration didn’t work out due to some internal changes. It’s learnt that before Ranbir Kapoor, Karanvir was supposed to play the pivotal role in the movie. However, the actor has now been approached for the film Lahore 1947.” Interestingly, this will also be the second time Karanvir will share screen space with Sunny Deol. For the unversed, the actor shared screen space with the Gadar actor in Blank wherein the two actors played the role of Anti-terrorism squad officers.

For the unversed, Lahore 1947 will bring together Sunny Deol and Aamir Khan (as a producer) for the first time together, marking a rather unique moment in the history of Bollywood cinema. The film will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and it is also expected to feature Shabana Azmi, Abhimanyu Singh, and Karan Deol in key roles. Reports also suggest that Ali Fazal has been approached for a key role too,

Meanwhile, speaking of Karanvir Sharma, over the years, he has proved his mettle in films and TV. He has been a part of films like Zid, Azhar and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana along with many OTT series and even television shows to his credit. Sonam Kapoor, recently spoke out about parenthood and the misconceptions that come with being a working mother. Sonam gave birth to her baby Vayu Kapoor Ahuja in August 2022, and she has since been candid about her experience on social media.

In an interview with India Today, the actress said, “The biggest conception about working moms is that people think we don’t care about our kids and that we care more about our work. It’s not true. We care about our children enough to want to work.” Sonam then went on to talk about mom guilt and said, “One can never be prepared for motherhood. Whether you’re a stay-at-home mother or a working mother, everyone goes through mom guilt. Whether you’re doing a load of laundry or you’re cooking in the kitchen or you’re doing an interview with someone, there will always be guilt.”

Sonam married businessman Anand Ahuja in 2018 after courting for several years. The duo is quite active on social media, posting work-related updates or family photos on a regular basis.

Sonam Kapoor was last seen in the movie Blind in 2023.

There were recent reports about Yuvika Chaudhary and Prince Narula all set to become parents. However, the celebrity pair has denied the news as rumours, stating that they will not keep such news hidden.

Since Tuesday, there have been reports that the pair, who have been married for six years, are expecting their first child together, prompting admirers to offer congratulatory greetings.

Hindustan Times reached out to Yuvika and she said, “Well, it is not at all true. We’re not pregnant,” she said, laughing. Yuvika explained that Narula’s statement about trying to have a baby was misread, “He said that we are trying to have a baby. And it is true. We are trying to have a baby, and want to expand our family. But that doesn’t mean that we are pregnant,” she said.

Rumours about Yuvika’s pregnancy started after Narula hinted about the baby’s birth. During a visit on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast, the former Bigg Boss winner was asked about family planning. Bharti, referring to her child, Golla, jokingly asked Narula, “When is Golla coming?” The former Roadies instantly replied, “Very soon.”

When Hindustan Times asked Narula about the news, he replied, “That’s not true”.

Narula and Yuvika’s relationship bloomed after they featured on Bigg Boss 9. After a few years of dating, they tied the knot in 2018.

Folklore has it that Ashwatthama is the fifth avatar of Lord Shiva. According to the Mahabharata, Ashwatthama’s name means “the sacred voice, similar to that of a horse.” He is named so because he cried like a horse at birth. Ashwatthama rose as one of the Mahabharata’s greatest warriors, fighting alongside the Kauravas against the Pandavas during the Kurukshetra War. Born with a divine gem on his forehead that gave him power over creatures below humans, Ashwatthama had to give up the gem when cursed by Lord Krishna.

During the period, Lord Krishna cursed Ashwatthama with immortality as punishment for trying to kill Uttara’s unborn child. Being cursed, many believe that Ashwatthama still walks the grounds of Narmada Ghat and when you perform Narmada Parikrama, one will find the immortal Ashwatthama.

Hence, Amitabh Bachchan’s character from ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ was revealed as Ashwatthama at Nemawar, emphasising the significance of the location in the narrative. Moving forward, exploring Ashwatthama’s character in the epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ promises to be an enriching experience for fans.

Bollywood Hungama was the first one to report last year about Arun Govil playing a different form of Lord Vitthal in the upcoming Hindi movie Sant Tukaram. Directed by Aditya Om, the movie will see Marathi film superstar Subodh Bhave in the titular role of the revered saint. We have now come across another news regarding the project. Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna has also become a part of the film as a narrator.

Sharing more details about his contribution in the film, Shiva Suryavanshi, who plays an antagonist in the movie, told Bollywood Hungama exclusively, “He (Khanna) plays the narrator at the start of the film. He introduces the characters and the theme of the film about the Bhakti Parampara in Bharatvarsh and the place Sant Tukaram has in it.”

Survavanshi, who said that it is big thing for them that Khanna agreed to be the narrator, also revealed that before the start of the film, they had something else planned for the film’s narration. “Actually, when sir (Aditya Om) was writing the script, we had thought that we will show a present-day scenario where someone will narrate the film. We thought of Mukesh ji because he is such a big figure from Mahabharat. But later we decided not to do it because of the length of the film. We decided what we had thought earlier, which is to keep him as a narrator,” he said.

Sharing the reason for zeroing in on Mukesh Khanna, Suryavanshi said, “His voice has a different base and thehrav. We haven’t seen him as a narrator before. We received suggestions like Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn, who recently gave a voiceover in Article 370. Then we thought of someone novel whose voice is already popular. Since Mukesh ji is already popular as Bheeshma Pitama (in Mahabharat) and Shaktimaan, we thought of bringing him; whom we had thought earlier as a narrator.”

As Arun Govil is also a part of the film, Sant Tukaram has become a rare movie where an actor each from the classic television shows Ramayan and Mahabharat has come on board. But that’s not all as. “We already have someone from Ramayan (Arun Govil). Now we have someone from Mahabharat as well. We also have Lalit Tiwari, who had played the role of Sanjay in Mahabharat. So, we purposely brought these figures together, so those who have seen Ramayan and Mahabharat will get their memories refreshed,” he said.

Sant Tukaram will be released later this year.
