Popular adventure show Khatron Ke Khiladi, that is a remake of the American show Fear Factor, is all set to enter its 12th season. The reality show that features popular celebrities breaking free from their comfort zone and trying out some dangerous stunts is one of the audience favourites and it all set to return this year too. And now latest update on that front is that Choti Bahu fame actress Rubina Dilaik has been roped in as the first contestant for Khatron Ke Khiladi 12.

Rubina Dilaik won Bigg Boss Season 14 and is now all set to try out yet another reality show. Needless to say, the actress is quite excited. Talking about being a part of this adventure show, Rubina stated in reports that the obstacles that she has endured in her past has only made her stronger and that it has been source of motivation for her for Khatron Ke Khiladi 12.

Rohit Shetty is expected to return as the host yet again for this new season. Confirming the same, Rubina added that she is confident that the Sooryavanshi filmmaker will guide her well. Readers may be aware that her husband Abhinav Shukla was a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 and had garnered quite a bit of popularity amongst audiences during the reality show stint. We can’t wait to see what Rubina would bring on the big screen.

For the ones who are not aware, Rubina Dilaik garnered fame as the beloved daughter-in-law in the TV soap drama Choti Bahu, followed by her ground-breaking role as a transgender in Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.

As for Khatron Ke Khiladi season 12, rumours are rife that Erica Fernandes, Shivangi Joshi, Rakhi Sawant, Tushar Kalia, Munawar Faruqi amongst others are being considered as contestants.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) is known for being quite unfair and for asking for unnecessary cuts. However, there are also times when the CBFC has been lenient, especially when understanding the context or theme of the film. Jayeshbhai Jordaar, which will be released on May 13, is one such film that has escaped the censor scissors.

Bollywood Hungama has learnt that Jayeshbhai Jordaar has been passed by the CBFC with zero cuts. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The film is based on the burning topic of female infanticide. Also, the lead actor Ranveer Singh is seen threatening to castrate himself in a scene. However, director Divyang Thakkar has treated the whole film in a non-objectionable manner. Even the disturbing topic of female infanticide has been shown in a light-hearted manner. As a result, there was no reason for the CBFC to ask for the removal of any visual or dialogue. They gave a clean U/A to the film without asking for any sort of cut.”

Interestingly, Jayeshbhai Jordaar secured a censor certificate, way back on February 17. The length of the film, as mentioned on the certificate, is 124 minutes. In other words, the film is just 2 hours and 4 minutes long.

This has made the exhibitors happy. A source from the exhibition sector said, “Jayeshbhai Jordaar is one of the shortest Bollywood films in a long time. Post the third wave, except for John Abraham’s Attack, all the major films which were released like Badhaai Do, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Jhund, The Batman, The Kashmir Files, Radhe Shyam, Bachchhan Paandey, RRR, KGF – Chapter 2, Heropanti 2 and Runway 34 were more than 2 hours and 20 minutes long. A few films like RRR, The Batman, Jhund, etc had a runtime of nearly 3 hours. It becomes a challenge to accommodate shows when films are lengthy.”

The source continued, “Hence, it’s heartening to see Jayeshbhai Jordaar being just 2 hours long. Even Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, which will be released this week, is 2 hours and 6 minutes in duration. It’ll be easy to plan the showcasing for both these films. Single screens next week can also give sufficient shows to both the films thanks to their short length.”

Besides Ranveer Singh, Jayeshbhai Jordaar stars Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah, and marks the debut of Arjun Reddy (2017) actress, Shalini Pandey. It is produced by Yash Raj Films.

The Ekta Kapoor show Lock Upp hosted by Kangana Ranaut has been making headlines since its launch. With each episode featuring more controversial content than the previous, the reality show has fast been climbing the TOP charts. Now just days ahead of its finale, it is learned that the Hyderabad court has ordered a stay on the series. In fact, in its order, the court has prohibited, Ekta Kapoor’s AltBalaji, MX Player, and Endemol Shine from exhibiting the show on any electronic medium, OTT platform, social media, and other platforms.

This stay order, passed by the XI Additional Chief Judge at Hyderabad Civil Court comes petitioner, Abdul Haleem Baig aka Sanober Baig claimed that the show is based on the script of his concept titled, ‘The Jail’. Post, conducting a trial and checking the documents of the petitioner, the court arrived at the verdict that Baig seems to be the sole rights holder of the story and the script of the concept named, ‘The Jail’.

Interestingly, this inst the first time Baig has moved court. Earlier, in February, the Telangana High Court had set aside the ad-interim injunction granted by the trial court against releasing, exhibiting, and publishing the series. Despite this ruling, the petitioner maintained that the concept was owned by Pride Media with him as the proprietor and registered under the copyright act on 7th March 2018.

Tanushree Dutta may not be taking on many Bollywood projects but the actress is quite active on social media. Recently, she met with an accident and she shared about the ordeal that she faced, on Instagram. Followed by her post, many of her fans and well-wishers started pouring in their blessings.

Tanushree Dutta’s car met with an accident whilst she was on her way to Mahakaal. The actress also added in her post that she had to get a few stitches post the incident. Her Instagram post read, “Today was an adventurous day!! But finally did make it to Mahakaal darshan..Freak accident on my way to temple…brake fail crash.. . Got away with just a few stitches…Jai Shree Mahakaal!”

In the same post, Tanushree also shared a series of pictures of her visit to the Mahakaal where the actress is seen posing in the premises and also clicked a few of them with fans. Well-wishers and her followers took to Instagram to share their relief and to pray for her good health.

After giving the Indian audience some blockbusters, Aamir Khan Productions’ is all set to bring you another touching story with Laal Singh Chaddha  starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya among others.

As part of the promotional campaign for the big ticket release, superstar Aamir Khan will now launch his very own podcast, a first in his career. In this new endeavor, the actor-producer will communicate with his audience via the podcast ‘Laal Singh Chaddha Ki Kahaniyaan’, where he will discuss his character of Laal Singh Chaddha, behind-the-scenes action, anecdotes from the making of the film, the music, interesting incidents from the set and other such entertaining stories related to Laal Singh Chaddha.

This Aamir Khan Podcast is expected to be out on May 5 and will be available on T-Series’ YouTube channel, Saavn and RedFM.

It was only recently that the video of Aamir Khan talking about a big ‘Kahani’ created buzz, after which the makers of Laal Singh Chaddha went on to release the first song of the film. Interestingly, the superstar chose to not release the videos from the Laal Singh Chaddha album, but instead only the audio thereby putting the musicians and the music of the film center stage.

Laal Singh Chaddha is produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Viacom18 Studios. Directed by Advait Chandan, screenplay written by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni, the film is all set to release on August 11, 2022 in theatres worldwide.
