Ayushmann Khurrana goes back to the heartland for his next film. The actor enjoys shooting in smaller cities and indulging in the local cuisine while he explores the varied cultures in India.

“I am happiest on a filmset and enjoy the entire creative process of a script coming to life. The additional perk is that I get to see different parts of India while I shoot. Infact, I always try and reach a day or two prior, so I can experience the city & speak to the locals. Also, the locals on set help me bring a different flavoUr into my character.”

Ayushmann Khurrana will be in a hectic shooting schedule for this new project till end of September. In addition to this, he will also be next seen in two very interesting projects this year – Anubhuti Kashyap’s Doctor G and film-maker Aanand L. Rai’s Action Hero being directed by debutant Anirudh Iyer.
