Netflix on Thursday announced the second film with Lindsay. Following the two-picture deal announcement, the actress, who had already signed Falling For Christmas, has signed second rom-com Irish Wish.

The logline reads, “When the love of her life gets engaged to her BFF, Maddie puts her feelings aside for the wedding in Ireland, where she makes a wish for true love & wakes up as his bride-to-be — but is he actually Maddie’s soulmate?”

According to Variety, Falling for Christmas, which is set to premiere on November 10, is a story around the “holiday meet-cute features Lohan as a newly engaged heiress who takes a tumble while skiing and wakes up with a case of amnesia.”

ZEE5 announced the world digital premiere of Gumnaam, a psychological thriller which is the Hindi dubbed version of the blockbuster Telugu thriller, Rakshasudu. The film features Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles and it is the official remake of the 2018 Tamil film, Ratsasan. The Hindi film, Cuttputli starring Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh is also an official adaptation of the original film, Ratsasan which also arrives on the same day on Disney+ Hotstar.

Produced by Pen Studios, directed by Ramesh Varma and redited by Amit Khan, Gumnaam will premiere on ZEE5 on 2nd September 2022. The story in Gumnaam revolves around Arun, played by Bellamkonda Sreenivas, who gives up on his dream of becoming a filmmaker and takes up the job of a police officer after his father’s death. He then attempts to track down a psychotic killer who targets schoolgirls. Tragedy strikes when the predator abducts and brutally murders his niece leading to many plot-twists in this edge-of-the-seat movie. The film has some great music including a song by the late singer KK, making Gumnaam his last movie.

South Korean actors Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah and Chu Young Woo will be starring in a new school drama Oasis (working title).

According to Korean media portal Soompi, Oasis is a drama about three youths who fight fiercely to protect their dreams and friendship as well as their one and only first love in the turbulent backdrop of South Korea from 1980 to 1990.

A source from KBS2’s upcoming drama shared, “Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, and Chu Young Woo have been cast for the roles of Lee Doo Hak, Oh Jung Shin, and Choi Chul Woong, respectively.”

Jang Dong Yoon has been roped in to play role of Lee Doo Hak who has an intelligent mind and clear soul despite growing up in poverty. falls in love at first sight with Oh Jung Shin, a transfer student from Seoul.

Chu Young Woo will essay Lee Doo Hak’s childhood friend and fated rival Choi Chul Woong, an elite student who always tops in the entire school and hates losing. He has everything, but he unable to win one girl’s heart.

Meanwhile, Seol In Ah will take on the role of honest and confident girl Oh Jung Shin who knows how to fight and stand up against injustice, and tenaciously charges forward to achieve her dreams. Eventually in the story, she develops feelings of love and close friendship with Lee Doo Hak and Choi Chul Woong.

The production team shared, “[The drama] will deliver new fun to this generation of viewers who are enthusiastic about and relate to the ’80s and ’90s, and we will give an immersive story to the older generations who remember those days. Please highly anticipate the story of youth depicted by Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, and Chu Young Woo, the three actors who were born in the ’90s.”

Oasis will begin filming later this month after wrapping up the script reading and air via KBS2 in the first half of 2023.

South Korean actor Kang Tae Oh, who recently starred in the hit drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo, announced his military enlistment date earlier this week.

According to Korean media portal Soompi, on August 31, Kang Tae Oh held his online fan meeting “TikTok Stage Connect: SweeTaeOh” and personally announced that he would be enlisting in the army as an active-duty soldier on September 20.

The actor had previously confirmed that his recent hit show Extraordinary Attorney Woo would be his final drama before enlisting in the military. He has already wrapped up filming for Target (literal translation), his upcoming thriller movie also starring Shin Hye Sun.

Moreover, as the report shares, Kang Tae Oh recently reunited with the cast and crew of his drama Run On to say his goodbyes before his enlistment and shared adorable photos from the reunion with former co-stars Im Siwan, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung, and Shin Se Kyung, as well as director Lee Jae Hoon and writer Park Si Hyun.
