Fawad Khan is known for his dedication in films but this time it seems the actor may have taken it a little too far. After attempting to bulk up his body for his role in the forthcoming Mahira Khan starrer The Legend of Maula Jatt, the actor faced massive health issues. He had to gain about 100 kgs for his role as a fighter in the film but ended up getting hospitalized after pushed his body too far during the transformation process. He further also confessed that he didn’t have ample time to undergo the process properly and couldn’t achieve what actors like Christian Bale or Aamir Khan could.

Fawad Khan opened up about the hospitalization and his physical transformation during his interview with Something Haute saying, “It is not the best thing I did to myself. I would never do that again. I just made some questionable choices, which negatively affected me. There is a dark underbelly to all of these physical transformations and people should know that when you make these decisions, it is taking a huge toll on your health. And it happened. Ten days into it, I was hospitalized. My kidneys shut down.”

Considering the actor is also diabetic, the recovery process only lengthened the transformation process. He went on to add, “I was putting in insane hours. It’s not the right way to do these things because the thing is I had limited time. I had 1-1.5 months. Due to whatever circumstances, it happened the way it happened. I am a bit insane in that way. I am not Christian Bale but I tried to do what he does, even Aamir Khan for that matter. If I had 6 months, maybe Maula Jatt would have looked very different. It is not a transformation that I would encourage for anyone.”

Directed by Bilal Lashari, The Legend of Maula Jatt is expected to be one of the most expensive Pakistani films and features an ensemble cast of Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humaima Malik, Faris Shafi, and Gohar Rasheed among others. It is slated to release on October 13, 2022.

Considering that Brahmastra is inching towards record-breaking success, the team of the film, including parents-to-be Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been rejoicing the moment. Ranbir Kapoor recently visited a cinema hall in Thane on National Cinema Day. Needless to say, the Kapoor boy received a grand welcome from fans, who crowded around him to catch a glimpse of the star. However, over-enthusiastic fans attempting to take a selfie with the star ended up falling. But the ‘hero’ was more than happy to help them get back on their feet.

Readers would be aware that National Cinema Day was celebrated on September 23 where tickets across theatres and multiplexes were priced at only Rs. 75. Amongst the films that were being screened, was also Brahmastra, which only released a couple of weeks ago. Known for its high-quality VFX, the fantasy drama is slowly becoming an audience favourite as many fans have extended their love for the film. As fans flooded to catch a glimpse of the film on National Cinema Day, they were surprised to see their favourite star and couldn’t hold their excitement.

Ranbir Kapoor visited a Thane Mall on National Cinema Days and interacted with fans. Even though there was ample security and barricades, enthusiastic fans tried to climb the barricades as they attempted to take a selfie with the superstar. However, the fans ended up falling on the other side but the lovable actor not only helped them to stand up but also enquired if they were alright. Once he ensured that they were fine, only then did he proceed towards his car.

Speaking of Brahmastra, the film is a fantasy adventure directed by Ayan Mukerji. Brahmastra Part One Shiva is a part of a trilogy, inspired by Indian mythology. With Alia Bhatt as the leading lady, the film also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles as well as Shah Rukh Khan in a guest appearance. The film hit the big screens on September 9 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Known for his villainous roles, Rahul Dev has played the antagonist in several movies including in other languages. However, the actor opted to take a sabbatical from the industry to raise his son after the sad demise of his wife in 2009. But four years later, when his son went to college, the actor decided to return to B-town but found himself out of work. In a bid to make his comeback, he chose to be a contestant on Bigg Boss 10 and mark his return to the Bollywood industry.

Speaking about it, Rahul Dev revealed that he didn’t have a choice but to do Bigg Boss since that got offered to him when he was jobless. He spoke about his struggle to Connect FM Canada saying, “Aur phir aap sochiye, itna kaam karne ke baad bhi Bigg Boss (Despite having done so much work, I had to do Bigg Boss). I was a participant in Bigg Boss 10 because there was just no work for me. I won’t blame anyone for it, because in our line, markets change pretty fast. And four and half years is a long time.”

However, Rahul is also thankful for some of his friends from the industry reaching out to him to support and help him. Expressing gratitude towards them, he added, “If there is one person I hold responsible, it is only my master (guru). If he had not guided me asking me to return, toh aana hota hi nahi (I wouldn’t have come).”

He thanked Atul Kasbekar for giving him immense support even though they were not working together at that time as well as Anna aka Suniel Shetty. He also went on to thank filmmakers who offered him good roles like Nikhhil Advani for giving him a ‘fantastic part’ in the Disney+Hotstar historical drama The Empire, David Dhawan’s son Rohit Dhawan for offering him the John Abraham, Varun Dhawan starrer Dishoom, as well as filmmaker Anees Bazmee for giving him Mubarakan among others. “So there are many people who participated and contributed to it,” asserted the actor.

While she is riding high on the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and doing a plethora of films in multiple languages, busy actress Tabu talks about breaking the age-myth when it comes to actresses. She was also asked about her glowing skin and her beauty secrets even at the age of 50, and the actress had a quirky and witty response. In a recent interview when she was asked about age-reversing, she laughed it off but also asserted that she doesn’t have any specific routine that she follows. However, she also opened up about the kind of advice she receives from her makeup artist.

In an interview with Film Companion, Tabu said, “Koi secret nahi hai (There is no secret). Mithali, my makeup artist, was telling me, ‘Ma’am, skin is looking good, some home nuska (home-remedy) you are doing or what?’ Some days, I’ll tell her that I put coffee here, and some plant there, and she’ll say, ‘You can’t do that, you have to use this cream’, and she’ll suggest some Rs 50,000 cream. Ek baar khareed liya, bas. Aage nahi khareedungi (I bought it once, but never again).”

While she spoke about avoiding such lavish spends on her skin and face, she also elaborated on the importance of staying fit and healthy for not just an actor but everyone. “There’s nothing that I consciously do for my face and all, but of course, I’m aware and conscious that I better look a certain way. I will not purposely ruin anything that takes away from… But that’s with everyone, even if you’re not an actor. Everyone wants to look good and maintain a certain level of being presentable, and fit, and healthy, and mentally there. I try my best,” she concluded.

Coming to the Bollywood front, the actress will be reuniting with her favorite co-star Ajay Devgn for two more films – Drishyam 2, which is expected to release soon, and, Bholaa, that is a remake of the Tamil film Kaithi.

Fans have been rooting for the Bigg Boss couple Ieshaan Sehgaal and Miesha Iyer but just like many others in the past, this couple too has decided to part ways. While the duo gave statements to the media, Ieshaan also posted a long note for his followers, fondly referred to as Ishaanians. The reality show star poured his heart out to his fans wherein he also mentioned that he had wished his relationship with Miesha was long-term.

In the note shared on Instagram, Ieshaan Sehgaal said, “I would like to take out time and tell everyone about an important announcement about my relationship. As it has been all in front of you and that you guys have been expecting a lot from me and the other person as well. It’s better to clear that we are not together anymore. I obviously had plans to have a long term one but sometimes life doesn’t really have the same plans as you do. I would wish you guys to continue and shower the same amount of love to me individually as well. And that you keep supporting me and loving me. Hope to make you’ll proud. Lots of Love ❤ – Ieshaan” he signed off.

He also confirmed his breakup to Hindustan Times adding, “She wanted different things from life, and so did I. The circumstances of the show were very different. I was very much invested in the relationship. When we came out of Bigg Boss house and returned to the real world, it was very much different from what we were facing inside the house. I think it is good that we broke up.” On the other hand, his former girlfriend Miesha Iyer too shared to Etimes, “Yes, it’s true. We have parted ways. Things didn’t work out. I don’t want to divulge much details.”

With many celebrities trading in real estate of late, Akshay Kumar too has joined the league with a property sale. As per Zapkey.com, The actor has sold off his Andheri West property to Daboo Malik, father of famous musicians Armaan Malik and Amaal Malik. The luxurious property, which was purchased by the Bollywood actor for Rs. 4.12 crores, has been sold off to the Maliks for a whopping Rs. 6 crores.

The luxurious apartment in Transcon Triumph-Tower 1, A-2104 has spread across a carpet area of 1281 sq. ft. along with a massive 59 sq. ft. balcony. As per reports, the two parties locked the deal on August 12, 2022, and if the documents are to be believed, Akshay Kumar has sold the property to music composer Armaan Malik and Amaal Malik’s parents Daboo Malik and his wife Jyoti Malik. Besides, this, the actor also owns other properties in Andheri west and east along with multiple properties across the city including apartments in Borivali, Mulund, and also around his residence in Juhu.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar was last seen in the OTT release Cuttputlli alongside Rakul Preet Singh. The actor already has a few other projects lined up for release this year which include the action-adventure drama Ram Setu with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha, Selfie with Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty, and Nushrratt Bharuccha, as well as, the comedy Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Tiger Shroff. He also has the film Gorkha which is set against the backdrop of the 1971 war as well as the remake of the Suriya starrer Soorarai Pottru in the pipeline too along with the biopic on the brave engineer Jaswant Singh Gill.
