South Korean actress Park Gyu Young has finally signed her next project. Following her last stint in Dali and Cocky Prince, the actress will next star in the upcoming fantasy romance drama A Good Day to be a Dog. She will star opposite K-pop group ASTRO’s singer Cha Eun Woo.

Park Gyu Young will essay the role of a teacher Han Hae Na who has everything going for her until she meets a person and faces the biggest crisis of her life. According to the Korean media portal Soompi, A Good Day to be a Dog is based on the webtoon of the same name and is an upcoming fantasy romance K-drama about a woman Han Hae Na who is cursed to transform into a dog every time she kisses a man. However, the only person who can undo her curse is a man Jin Seo Won who is afraid of dogs due to a traumatic event he can no longer remember.

Cha Eun Woo is a South Korean singer, actor, and model under the label Fantagio. He is a member of the South Korean pop band ASTRO. On the acting front, Cha Eun Woo previously starred in dramas like True Beauty, My ID Is Gangnam Beauty, Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung, Island, and more.

On the other hand, Park Gyu Young has starred in several dramas including It’s Okay To Not Be Okay, Sweet Home, and The Devil Judge, among others. Last year, she landed her first lead role with Dali and Cocky Prince which premiered in September 2021.

Meanwhile, A Good Day to Be a Dog is currently slated to begin filming in October.

Readers would be aware that Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter, Arjun Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor’s cousin Shanaya Kapoor will be making her big debut with Bedhadak, which is produced by Dharma. The film will feature her with newbies Gurfateh Pirzada (who was seen in the Netflix film Guilty) and popular TV star Lakshay. The actress is thrilled to have bagged the film and expressed her gratitude. While she also has deal with comments on nepotism, considering that she hails from a complete Bollywood background, the actress has also maintained that she wouldn’t take this opportunity for granted.

In an interview with Zoom, Shanaya Kapoor opened up about bagging Bedhadak and also added that she is excited and nervous about her debut venture. She said, “I am nervous because it’s important that I do the best job and because it isn’t just a first film, it’s the first step towards hopefully a long and varied career. And excited because I’m finally a step closer towards realizing a dream I’ve had since childhood. It’s a mix of all kinds of emotions. Gurfateh, Lakshya, and I have prepped a lot for it, and it’s a very special film for the whole Bedhadak team. It’s very close to my heart! I’m extremely grateful to have gotten a film like Bedhadak.”

Further, reacting on how people consider that bagging this film was a cakewalk for her considering her family’s connections, she shared, “I’m grateful for the opportunity and I’m working very hard to prove that I deserve it. I want my performance in this film to make people feel that I earned this opportunity- that I didn’t waste it or that I didn’t take it for granted. I’ve worked very hard and I will continue.”

Coming to Bedhadak, the film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and it is expected to go on floors in early 2023.

Warner Bros. Discovery today revealed its stellar cast of The Journey of India – a new six-part series to mark India’s 75 years of Independence. Hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, each episode will also feature a leading voice to showcase a key theme in India’s development as a nation. Putting a spotlight on the storytelling that revolutionised global filmmaking, actress Kajol transports viewers to Bollywood’s captivating legacy against the backdrop of an actual film set in action. Conservationist and Baahubali fame actor Rana Daggubati along with Indian author and wildlife conservationist, Latika Nath, recognize India’s successful initiatives in sustainability and conservation. Renowned Indian author Amish Tripathi pays homage to India’s diversity of religions, and Michelin Star chef Vikas Khanna explores the palatability of Indian cuisine, paralleling his roots to its impact on global cuisine.

The Journey of India produced by Black Iris for Warner Bros. Discovery, also features contributions from esteemed director S. S. Rajamouli, veteran actress Hema Malini, Oscar award-winning composer A. R. Rahman, industrialist Anand Mahindra, celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor, female banking trailblazer Naina Lal Kidwai, climate change activist Vani Murthy, fashion designer Ritu Kumar and renowned dietician Rujuta Diwekar among others.

The Journey of India premieres globally on streaming platform discovery+ in India, the U.S., U.K., and the Philippines. It will be showcased in more than 140 countries including India, Japan, Singapore, France, Switzerland, UAE, Egypt, Brazil, Iran, Kenya among others on Discovery Network channels. The Journey of India will premiere in India on Discovery Channel, TLC, Discovery Science, Discovery Turbo and DTamil on October, 10.

Prime Video, Skydance Television, and Paramount Television Studios announced key cast joining for the second season of Reacher, the action-packed drama series starring Alan Ritchson in the title role of Jack Reacher. Casting announced today for the second season are series regulars Serinda Swan, Ferdinand Kingsley, Rory Cochrane with guest star Domenick Lombardozzi. Also joining the cast are Luke Bilyk, Dean McKenzie, Edsson Morales, Andres Collantes, Shannon Kook-Chun, Ty Victor Olsson, Josh Blacker, and Al Sapienza. As previously announced, Maria Sten will return for Season Two as Frances Neagley and Shaun Sipos will play David O’Donnell. Filming will begin this month.

The second season, which is based on the 11th book in Lee Child’s global best-selling series, Bad Luck and Trouble, begins when the members of Reacher’s old military unit start turning up dead. Reacher has just one thing on his mind—revenge. Here’s a look at who’s going to play what characters.

Serinda Swan has been cast as Karla Dixon. Along with O’Donnell, Dixon served with Reacher in the Army’s unit of Special Investigators. She’s an extremely intelligent private investigator who has no problem holding her own in a fight against men much larger than she is.

Ferdinand Kingsley has been cast as A.M. He’s what Homeland Security calls a ‘ghost’ as he operates under a number of aliases and can pass for any nationality. Money is his only motivation, and he’ll work for the highest bidder.

Rory Cochrane has been cast as Shane Langston. He’s a streetwise former NYPD detective with a questionable track record who is now head of security for a private defense contractor.

Domenick Lombardozzi has been cast as Guy Russo. He’s a tough NYPD detective who’s investigating a case that involves several of Reacher’s former Army cohorts.

Ty Victor Olsson has been cast as Saropian. A brutal professional hitman who is charged with following members of Reacher’s old elite military squad.

Josh Blacker has been cast as Hortense Fields. Lieutenant Colonel in the Army who oversees Reacher’s Elite 110th –  Special Investigator’s Unit.

Al Sapienza has been cast as Marsh. He’s a formidable lieutenant with the NYPD.

Rounding out the team of Reacher’s former Special Investigator Task Force are Luke Bilyk as Calvin Franz, Dean McKenzie as Stan Lowery, Edsson Morales as Manuel Orozco, Andres Collantes as Jorge Sanchez, and Shannon Kook-Chun as Tony Swan.

As previously announced, Shaun Sipos has been cast as David O’Donnell. He served with Reacher in the 110th,  the Army’s unit of Special Investigators, and is like a brother to Reacher.

Reacher was renewed for a second season three days after its adrenaline-fueled debut on Prime Video. Season One of Reacher was one of the most-binged Original series ever on Prime Video.

Based on the novels by Lee Child, who is an executive producer on the series, Reacher, starring Alan Ritchson, is produced by Amazon Studios, Skydance Television, and Paramount Television Studios. Reacher is written for television by Emmy-nominated writer Nick Santora (Scorpion, Prison Break), who also executive produces and serves as showrunner. In addition to Santora and Child, the series is executive produced by Don Granger, Scott Sullivan and Adam Higgs with David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Bill Bost for Skydance.
