After much anticipation, Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt will hit the theatres and has already crossed the Rs. 350 crore mark gross worldwide whereas is just under Rs. 200 crore nett at the domestic box office. However, there have been claims made around the hit status of the movie where the collections are lesser than the entire film’s budget. Kangana Ranaut had claimed that a film can’t be a hit after earning Rs. 246 crore when the budget is Rs. 650 crore. But, there were reports that the film’s budget is Rs. 410 crore excluding the print and publicity expenses. Now, Ranbir Kapoor has spoken about the massive budget of the film without disclosing the numbers.

Defending the film’s hit status and the reported budget, in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, Ranbir said, “These days, we are reading a lot where people are discussing the budget of the film. People are saying this much is the budget and this much is the recovery. But Brahmastra is unique being where the budget is not just for one film but for the whole trilogy.”

“So, the assets we have created for the film, like the fire VFX or effects for other superpowers, they will be used in three films. So, it’s not like the figures floating around, whether it’s hundred rupees or two hundred rupees, are correct. It’s all wrong. The economics of this film is not like the economics of other films that have been made in our industry. Now, we can easily go into parts 2 and part 3. With part 1, Ayan had to learn how to make this kind of a film,” Ranbir added.

Produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures, the magnum opus released theatrically on September 9 across 5 Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada with a stellar ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni.

Hollywood actors and power couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are expanding their family. After three kids, the actors are expecting their fourth child together. The actress debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at the 10th Annual Forbes Power Women’s Summit, last week. While the couple was yet to confirm the news, Blake Lively took to Instagram on Sunday to share several pictures of herself and even called out the paparazzi for hounding them.

“Here are photos of me pregnant in real life so the 11 guys waiting outside my home for a ? sighting will leave me alone. You freak me and my kids out,” Lively wrote on Instagram while confirming her pregnancy with photos of her baby bump. “Thanks to everyone else for all the love and respect and for continuing to unfollow accounts and publications who share photos of children. You have all the power against them. And thank you to the media who have a “No Kids Policy”. You all make all the difference ?♥️. Much love! Xxb.”

Back in December 2021, Ryan Reynolds spoke to LinkedIn News Senior Editor at Large Jessi Hempel about the importance of family and spending time, saying, “I want my kids to have a pretty normal schedule. For many years when my wife Blake would shoot a film, I would not shoot a film and I would be with the kids and vice versa. So we would sort of trade-off. We never really worked at the same time. But always we were away. So the kids were away too.”

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have been together since 2010. They met on the sets of Green Lantern. They got married in 2012. They are parents to daughters 7-year-old James, 5-year-old Inez, and 2-year-old Betty.

The constant woes in relation to the Sukesh Chandrashekhar Rs.200 crore extortion case have not ended for actress Jacqueline Fernandez. After her name was included as an accused in the case, the actress was questioned by the Economics Offences Wing in Delhi about her relationship with the conman and his accomplice Pinky Irani. Now, the latest reports have it that the actress has been summoned yet again by EOW for questioning on September 19 at 11 am.

Not too long ago, there were rumours about how Jacqueline Fernandez wanted to marry Sukesh Chandrashekhar. As per Free Press Journal reports, some of her co-stars who were aware of the actress’ involvement with the conman had even advised her to stay away from him. Another set of ANI reports also claimed that Jacqueline referred to him as the man of her dreams and was considering about marrying him.

For the uninitiated, Jacqueline Fernandez was recently questioned by the Economics Offences Wing for eight hours regarding her friendship with Sukesh Chandrashekhar. In earlier reports, the actress had claimed that she never really met Sukesh but that she only knew about him through the conman’s accomplice Pinky Irani.

Jacqueline Fernandez has been accused of being a recipient of lavish gifts worth Rs. 7 crores from Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The actress is expected to have received several of these presents in the form of bags, clothes, shoes, jewellery etc. and along with that the Enforcement Directorate also alleged that the conman also showered her family with expensive gifts and financial benefits.

Besides her, Nora Fatehi too was summoned for questioning after her brother-in-law claimed to have accepted a BMW worth Rs. 65 lakhs from Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The latter is currently in jail for conning high-profile businessmen and tycoons.

Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor have acted in many films together including the iconic Ram Lakhan and Parinda. The co-actors not only share a great camaraderie on screen but also off screen. We recently got a glimpse of the same when Jackie Shroff responded about how Anil Kapoor shares a sibling like bond with him. It came as a response to how Anil Kapoor recalled the time when he was insecure about Jackie’s stardom but at the same time, he also spoke about how the actor was humble and treated him with respect.

During his recent stint on Koffee With Karan 7, when Karan Johar spoke about the era Anil Kapoor had joined the fraternity, the veteran actor recalled the time when Jackie Shroff was announced as the male lead in a Subhash Ghai film. Readers would recall that the actor made his debut with the Meenakshi Seshadri starrer Hero in 1983. He said, “Jackie was an outsider in a way, but still he got the first break from Subhash Ghai. So, he himself became like an A-lister with just that one announcement. I was doing bit roles at that time and I was doing South Indian films. I would say I was not feeling good about it” Karan questioned Anil, “Did you feel insecure about Jackie’s success at that time?” To which, the actor candidly responded, “Well yeah. He became a huge, huge success.”

In the same show, he also recalled the time when he was sitting on the sets with Jackie Shroff and how fans would flood around him to get an autograph. Anil revealed that he was happy to see so many people on the sets of his film but later realized that they had come to meet Jackie. But the actor was such a humble person that he asked Anil to sign their autograph books along with him.

Reacting to the comments made by Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff said in an interview with Times Now, “It is normal to look up to your older brother. But I know he is a guy who really, really cares for me deep down in his heart and what he says is such a beautiful emotional display which not many people say it. His heart is absolutely clean and he speaks what he feels. That gives me a lot of credit. When a man of his caliber says that, he is giving me so much respect.”
