From TV to the big screen, actress Radhika Madan has seen her share of ups and downs. With her hard work and dedication, Madan turned the tables and bagged popular projects including Angrezi Medium. And now, her upcoming project, Kacchey Limbu, was premiered at 47th Toronto International Film Festival. While sharing her piece of mind on the same exclusively with Bollywood Hungama, the actress talked about the details of her upcoming projects.

When asked to give a brief of her upcoming projects, the Patakhaa actress said, “I have Kuttey releasing on November 4, I have Saas Bahu Aur Cocaine directed by Homi Adajania. It’s a web show that is coming on Disney+ Hotstar. I have Sanaa with Sudhanshu Saria. I have the remake of Soorarai Pottru with Akshay Kumar sir. And I have Kacchey Limbu. And I have Teacher’s Day with Maddock, which is releasing on Teachers Day next year. And I also have another project with Maddock which is soon to be announced.”

The 27-year-old actress further added, “I think it’s been a very fortunate year. I got to what I love the most, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Because whenever I’m in front of the camera, I feel like home. It’s been a very fortunate year and yes, you will be seeing me a lot in the next year and I’m so excited about it.”

Talking about Teacher’s Day, along with Radhika, Nimrat Kaur will be seen playing the lead. Meanwhile, Saas Bahu Aur Cocaine will be her second show after Netflix’s Feels Like Ishq.

A gossipy section of the Telugu media has gone into hyper mode with reports that S. S Rajamouli has been paid Rs 10 crores, nothing less, to S S Rajamouli to extend his support to Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra in the South.

Sources very close to Karan Johar’s Dharma Production dismiss this as cock-and-bull. “Rajamouli is very fond of Karan from the time when Baahubali was distributed in Hindi by Dharma productions. Rajamouli agreed to support Brahmastra completely as a goodwill gesture. Where is the question of any money exchanging hands?” asks the source.

These reports, says the source, are meant to spoil Karan Johar’s relations with Rajamouli.

Adipurush will finally get its first teaser in the first week of October 2022. Fans have been eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of Prabhas in the role of Lord Ram. Now, the anticipation has only increased as the first teaser will be unveiled tentatively on October 3, 2022.

As per a report in an outlet, the makers of Adipurush are planning a grand teaser launch in Ayodhya, the land of Lord Ram during the festivities of Navratri. The first look and teaser will kick off the three-month-long promotional campaign for the upcoming magnum opus film. Following the release, Prabhas is reportedly also slated to attend a Dussehra ceremony at the Luv Kush Ramlila on October 5 in New Delhi.

Speaking to ANI, Arjun Kumar, head of Lav Kush Ramlila committee, said, “Since Prabhas is already playing the role of Lord Rama in the upcoming film Adipurush, who better than him to set the evilness of Raavan on fire this Dussehra!” Adding further that the effigies will be 100-ft tall, he said, “Like always there are going to be three effigies – each of Raavan, Kumbh Karan, and Meghnaad, and Prabhas will shoot his arrow in the air to burn each of them off!”

The film is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. Produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles, the film features Prabhas as Lord Ram, while Kriti plays the role of Janaki (Sita). It also stars Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh and Sunny Singh as Lakshman.

The drama was previously scheduled to release on August 11, 2022, but now will release on January 12, 2023. Adipurush will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam in theatres.

Doctor G starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh finally has a release date. The film will arrive in theatres on October 14, 2022, as per reports. The makers will make the final call soon before officially making the announcement. 11 days later, Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu and Ajay Devgn’s Thank God arrive in theatres. Interestingly, Thank God will be the second release for Rakul Preet Singh in the same month after Doctor G.

Doctor G is a Junglee Pictures production featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, and Shefali Shah. The film marks the third collaboration between Ayushmann and Junglee Pictures after two successful outings with Bareilly Ki Barfi and Badhaai Ho.

Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, this film is a campus comedy-drama where the main protagonists will be seen playing doctors. The film is written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, and Saurabh.

Meanwhile, Drishyam 2 will also feature the star cast of the first film including Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta amongst others. Drishyam 2 begins 7 years after the events in the first film and tests Vijay’s resolve to protect his family for whom he would cross any limits. This movie aims to provide justice to the ‘crime-thriller’ genre in every way possible.
