After fans pinpointed a VFX gaffe during a scene featuring King Viserys in HBO’s House of the Dragon, the network is on its way to make it right with an updated version on HBO Max.

As reported byVariety, years after the Game of Thrones Starbucks cup goof, eagle-eyed viewers have spotted another visual effects mistake in last Sunday’s House of the Dragon episode. In Season 1 Episode 3, titled Second of His Name, King Viserys (Paddy Considine) is shown handing a letter to a soldier.

A Twitter user pointed out that the king’s fourth and fifth fingers are green in the episode — apparently a visual effects editor did not edit out the “green screen” effect on the digits. The character of the king is supposed to be missing two fingers on his left hand, but in the scene, the fingers were visible and wrapped with a green covering in order to be digitally removed later.

The green screen goof reminded viewers of the infamous Game of Thrones Starbucks cup incident from the fourth episode of the final season that aired in 2019, when a Starbucks cup was mistakenly left on a table in a scene. Soon after, the episode was then digitally corrected.

New episodes of House of the Dragon premiere Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and HBO Max.

The Television Academy and NBC on Wednesday announced the first group of presenters for 74th Primetime Emmy Awards 2022.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 74th annual Emmy Awards, hosted by Kenan Thompson, is set to air live from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater on Monday, September 12 at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT on NBC and Peacock.

The presenter’s lineup includes Selena Gomez, Squid Game stars Jung Ho Yeon and Lee Jung Jae, Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinde, Jimmy Kimmel and Seth Meyers. Other stars set to present include Kerry Washington, Amy Poehler, Ariana DeBose, Angela Bassett, Will Arnett, Vanessa Bayer, Kelly Clarkson, Taye Diggs, Diego Luna, Molly Shannon, Natalie Zea, Mariska Hargitay and Chris Meloni.

Jung Ho Yeon and Lee Jung Jae are both nominated for supporting actress and lead actor in a drama series, respectively. Hacks stars Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder are up for best actress and supporting actress in a comedy series. Succession leads the nominations for the 2022 Emmy Awards, scoring 25 nods, followed by Ted Lasso and The White Lotus with 20 nods each.

Salman Khan recently renewed the lease of his commercial space which is a whopping 27,650 sqft with Future Retail group. The superstar, who has a massive property in the prime location of suburban Mumbai, had leased it out to TNSI Retail Private Limited, which is a subsidiary of the Future Retail group. The lease was renewed on September 5. While the initial lease has been locked at around Rs. 89.6 lakhs per month for the first year, it would be increased to Rs. 94.08 lakhs in the second year.

Speaking of the commercial space, the said area comprises of the lower ground floor, ground floor, first floor, and second floor of a building located in Santacruz West. Reports also have it that the TNSI Retail group has paid a security deposit of Rs. 2.68 crores for the commercial space which has 23, 042 sqft as the carpet area.

On the work front, Salman Khan will next be seen in Kisi Ka Bhai, Kisi Ki Jaan which will feature Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, and Siddharth Nigam. The superstar will also be seen in Tiger 3 which also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi which is expected to release next year.

Now right before the release, the makers decided to give everyone a glimpse of the characters from the film and released character posters of the male leads, Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra. The actors will be seen in the role of Chitragupt and common man respectively.

Recently a poster of Ajay Devgn was released where he was seen representing the modern avatar of Chitragupt, who is said to be a record keeper of human deeds in heaven as per Indian mythology. The actor was seen in an-all-black well suited avatar for his character in the film. His poster was released with the caption saying, “This Diwali, Chitragupt is coming to play the game of life with you and your family! Get ready for the grand release of #ThankGod!”

On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra too looked suave in his gentleman avatar. The actor is expected to play the role of a common man. Besides, them, Thank God will also see Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra reunite with their De De Pyaar De and Aiyaari co-star Rakul Preet Singh. The film is expected to be a comedy directed by Indra Kumar and produced by T-Series. While trailer hits the tube on September 9, the film is expected to release on October 25.

The teaser of Vikram Vedha starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan was recently released and the buzz it created was a scenario to watch. Now that the highly anticipated trailer has been released and it boasts high-octane action, drama, and the face-off between Vikram and Vedha. This is what you call a massy trailer. The trailer was unveiled on September 8, 2022, amidst much fanfare.

Vikram Vedha is an action-thriller written & directed by Pushkar-Gayatri. The story is full of twists and turns, as a tough cop Vikram (Saif Ali Khan) sets out to track and chase a dreaded gangster Vedha (Hrithik Roshan). What unfolds is a cat-and-mouse chase, where Vedha – a master storyteller helps Vikram peel back layers through a series of stories leading to thought-provoking moral ambiguities. Amidst of layers of grey, Vikram tries to dissect between good and evil as the concepts of the two turns blurry with each story revealed by Vedha. The film has been heavily inspired from its South counterpart as the trailer showcases scenes, very similar to the original.  Moreover, the background score of Vikram Vedha is also similar to its Tamil counterpart.

Vikram Vedha is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks & Jio Studios and a YNOT Studios Production. The film is directed by Pushkar & Gayatri and produced by Bhushan Kumar & S. Sashikanth and Reliance Entertainment. Vikram Vedha will hit the big screens globally on 30th September 2022. The Tamil version of the film, which released way back in 2017, featured Madhavan in the role of Saif Ali Khan and Vijay Sethupathi in the role of Hrithik Roshan. The film also featured Shraddha Srinath, Kathir, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has invested in one of the biggest cosmetic brands in India – Sugar Cosmetics as an equity partner. The actress is paired up with Bollywood heartthrob Ranveer Singh for the campaign to charm the audience with their chemistry.

This will be the second time they share the screen together. Nearly six years ago, Ranveer Singh paired up with superstar Tamannaah for an ad that turned into an instant success and left the fans wanting more of the pair. Half a decade later, the influential actress and the energetic actor joined forces again for an ad for Sugar cosmetics. We wonder if this new pairing will lead to a full-fledged Bollywood feature film in the future.

On the professional front, Tamannaah is currently working on major multi-language projects like Madhur Bhandarkar’s  Babli Bouncer, Gurthunda Seethakalam, a Telugu language romantic drama, and Netflix’s Plan A Plan B. All 3 projects are slated to release this month. She will also be seen in Amazon Prime Video’s Jee Karda.

For the unversed, Ranveer Singh will play the role of a brand evangelist and build brand connections across key markets.
