Get ready for an exciting family entertainer. Director Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films reunite yet again after films like Luka Chuppi and Mimi. After much anticipation, the title of Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s next was officially announced today. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke promises to be a rollercoaster ride of laughter, romance, and drama. The makers dropped a unique video announcing this much-awaited title which features Vicky-Sara being all romantic highlighting their chemistry.

On Sunday Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan took to their Instagram account and shared the teaser of the film. The caption read, “Romantic? Ya dramatic? Kya lagta hai aapko, kaisi hone waali hai humari kahani #ZaraHatkeZaraBachke Trailer Out tomorrow. In cinemas on June 2, 2023.”

This film marks the first-time pairing of these two actors. Their chemistry is expected to be one of the major highlights of the film and promises to be an out and out family entertainer. The trailer of the film is all set to release tomorrow, i.e., 15th May amidst fanfare.

Jio Studios & Dinesh Vijan present Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. A Maddock Films production, produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Desphande, directed by Laxman Utekar, and written by Laxman Utekar, Maitrey Bajpai and Ramiz Khan. The family entertainer led by Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan is slated to release in cinemas on June 2, 2023.

The Pathaan mania simply refuses to stop. After collecting more than Rs. 500 crores at the Indian box office and almost Rs. 1000 crores worldwide, the Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone-John Abraham starrer has now struck gold at Bangladesh. Since a few days, screenshots of sold out shows have been shared on social media. Yesterday, a clip showing viewers in a theatre in Bangladesh dancing to the song ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ went viral. Interestingly, the film, which released on January 25 this year in India and elsewhere, has been out on Amazon Prime Video since March end. Many in Bangladesh have already seen it on OTT and yet, came out in hordes to watch the first Bollywood movie to release in their country ever since 1971.

Today, Bollywood Hungama brings to you the exclusive day 1 box office report of Pathaan in Bangladesh. On its day of release, that is Friday May 12, Pathaan has grossed 25 lakhs Bangladeshi takas. It is equivalent to INR 19.13 lakhs

Satadeep Saha, Indian-based distributor and exhibitor, who has released Pathaan in Bangladesh, exclusively told Bollywood Hungama, “We released Pathaan in 41 cinemas in Bangladesh. The opening is terrific and one of the biggest of the year.”

When asked if the day one numbers of Pathaan are higher than that of the Hollywood biggies which released this year like Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3, Satadeep Saha replied, “Yes it is for sure.”

Meanwhile, Pathaan is doing exceptional business today as well. The collections will come down on Sunday, which is a working day in Bangladesh. Nevertheless, it is expected to have a healthy run in the neighbouring country, just like it did in the rest of the world.

Juhi Parmar, who became a household name and became one of the most loved iconic characters of Indian Television with the Star Plus show Kumkum, is all set to try something new.  The actress, who is also a single mother, will be seen juggling between motherhood and her work even on the screen with her new role. Juhi, who has also been a former winner of the reality show Bigg Boss, will be exploring the OTT space as she gears up to make her debut with the web-series Yeh Meri Family Season 2. For the unversed, the show is a period family series set in the 90s winter.

Talking about the show and exploring the OTT space, Juhi Parmar said, “I’m glad to be exploring a new medium with Yeh Meri Family.  Honestly, the kind of work and experimentation on OTT is brilliant and I am glad that I can take up work across mediums and be able to entertain my audience with each project of mine.  When Yeh Meri Family Hai was offered to me I fell in love with Nirja’s character.  She’s a teacher, she’s a wife, she’s a mother, she’s a daughter in law, she’s so relatable and I felt that here’s one character that many women will identify with.”

She continued, “There’s a beautiful 90s flavor in Yeh Meri Family which has nostalgia kick in for many of us as the simplicity of those days, the lives and the intricacies were so different.  I am excited for my audience to see me in a new avatar.” She also opened up about her future plans of exploring the platform further adding, “I’m looking forward to experimenting more in OTT shows.  When I look at content on OTT, I love that the characters are so real, they are not just defined by relationships but rather the writing is based on creating a personality.”

Expressing her excitement, Juhi revealed that she has kicked off a countdown for the show. “I wouldn’t say that I’m nervous but rather I’m really excited. There’s a countdown happening in my head to D-Day and I just can’t wait,” she concluded.

Along with her, the show will also feature Sarabhai fame Rajesh Kumar, popular child actor Hetal Gada, among others.

Pyaar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatnii marked the return of Fahmaan Khan on the small screen after he quit the popular show Imlie, wherein he was seen playing the lead alongside Kritika Yadav. With the Colors show focusing on their respective lives that gets intertwined in a twist of fate, now we hear that the serial is expected to go off air very soon. If reports are to be believed, the makers are planning on wrapping up the show next month and Ashita Dhawan, who plays a supporting role in the show also confirmed the details.

Viewers of the Colors show would be aware that Ashita Dhawan plays the role of Dolly Randhawa, the paternal aunt of Fahmaan Khan aka Ravi and the wife of Bobby Khanna aka Vikrant Randhawa. The actress recently opened up about the ongoing rumours about Pyaar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatnii going off air in June and she said, “Yes, it’s unfortunate that the show is ending. It’s actually heartbreaking. We were informed about it a couple of days ago. You want a show to run longer, as you invest yourself in it completely. Like any other professional, actors also set some targets for themselves. A good show begets more and better work and helps you to raise your fee. I had pinned great hopes on this show.”

She also expressed that she was saddened to not continue her role in the show further as she wanted to do a lot more with her character. “I didn’t get a chance to live the character to its fullest and explore it to its maximum. My wait and hard work came to a standstill abruptly,” she added.

Pyaar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatnii airs from Monday to Friday at 8 pm on Colors. While the show kicked off in November 2022, we hear that the final episode will air on June 9, 2023.
