Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is all set to explore the supernatural thriller genre in his next project. The actor, who has given some successful films in the past, is collaborating with Panorama Studios for the forthcoming project. The movie will be directed by Vikas Bahl, who is known for his exceptional work in movies like Queen and Super 30.

The film will go on floors in June and will be shot in Mumbai, Mussoorie and London. The yet-to-be-titled film is being produced by Ajay Devgn, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak under the banner Ajay Devgn Ffilm and Panorama Studios. The makers have hinted that the film will be a spine-chilling ride for the audience.

Ajay Devgn has delivered a lot of hits in Bollywood over the years. The actor has tried his hands in different genres, including drama, action, and comedy. However, this is the first time he will be exploring the horror genre, and fans are eagerly waiting to see what he has in store for them.

The movie comes after the success of Drishyam 2, which was the sequel to his hit film Drishyam. The actor was lauded for his performance in the movie, and it was appreciated by both critics and audiences. With this upcoming horror film, Ajay Devgn is looking to expand his repertoire and explore new avenues in the film industry.

A day ago, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who is popularly known as Mrs. Roshan in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, made major allegations against the producers of the Sony SAB sitcom. She quit the show, accusing the producers of mental harassment and producer Asit Modi of making sexual advances towards her. However, the latter has denied all allegations in a media statement, further asserting that he will take legal action against her. Followed by the blame-game, Jennifer has now shared a video on social media stating that she wouldn’t be silent anymore.

Followed by the allegations and counter-allegations between Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal and producer Asit Modi as well as the rest of the team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, Jennifer has taken to Instagram to share a video where she is seen speaking about breaking her silence. “Chuppi ko meri kamzori mat samjhna, main chup thi kyunki saleeka hai mujh mein. Khuda gawah hai ki sach kya hai. Yaad rakh, uske ghar mein koi farak nahi tujhmein ya mujhmein (Don’t underestimate my silence. It is not my weakness. I was quiet because I have dignity. God knows what the truth is. Remember, he doesn’t discriminate, and we are equal in his eyes),” she said in the video.

In an interview, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal had revealed that on the day of Holi, the makers of TMKOC refused to let her go half-day even though the rest of the team were given all the required leaves. The actress also accused them of forcibly trying to stop her car and refusing to let her leave the sets of the sitcom. However, Modi, the producers and the directors of the show have counter-alleged that the actress’ behaviour has been unprofessional because of which they had to let go off her.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma is a popular sitcom starring Dilip Joshi, Mandar Chandawadkar, among others. The show recently saw many of them quitting it including Disha Vakani and Shailesh Lodha.

Star Plus’ daily show Yeh Hai Chahatein recently took a generational leap that showcased Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur Luthra now play the lead characters as Nayantara and Samrat. And now, on May 9, the show took another massive leap.

The show is getting high on drama with each every passing episode. Ayaz Khan will be introduced as a smaller brother of Arjun in the show. Pravisht Mishra and Shagun Sharma will be essaying the lead as Arjun and Kaashvi. Talking about Ayaz Khan, he was last seen in Dangal show Mast Mauli as a negative lead and has also appeared in a few endorsements as well as shows.

The current show features Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur Luthra aka Samrat and Nayanthara leading separate lives. Nayan lives with her two daughters Kaashvi and Mahima with the Sabrewal family, with a different identity. The show is now expected to focus on the next generation of lovers, Kaashvi and Arjun as the show will also focus on reuniting the estranged Samrat and Nayanthara too.

Yeh Hai Chahatein airs at 10:30 pm from Monday to Sunday on Star Plus. The show’s episodes are also available on Disney+Hotstar.

Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway, featuring Rani Mukerji, depicted the story of a mother who is deeply troubled after her two children are taken away from her by the Norwegian government, who believed that they were not growing up in a healthy environment. The film did reasonably well in cinemas and has now been released on the popular streaming platform, Netflix. Alongside Rani Mukerji, the movie also featured Anirban Bhattacharya, Neena Gupta, and Jim Sarbh.

The movie Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway, featuring Rani Mukerji, is inspired by the true story of an Indian couple whose kids were taken away by the Norwegian childcare system, Barnevernet, in 2011. The mother wrote an autobiography titled ‘The Journey of a Mother,’ which served as the basis for the film. The highly-anticipated movie has now premiered on the popular online streaming platform, Netflix. The news was shared by Netflix India on their Instagram page, along with a poster of the movie and captioned, “A fearless mother, her unwavering love for her children and a relentless fight. For the unversed, the Ashima Chibber directorial is inspired by the real-life story of Sagarika Chakraborty and her husband, whose children were taken away by the Norwegian authorities in 2011. Earlier, Rani had said, “I have given it my all to bring Sagarika’s daunting struggle of getting her kids back on celluloid. I have seen how my mom, a Bengali mother, is fiercely protective of her children and I saw the same traits in Sagarika when I learnt about her life story. So, two Bengali moms have actually inspired me to play this role and I’m so proud that it is resonating with people, especially mothers, across India,” in a statement.
