Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was hospitalized for heatstroke on Wednesday afternoon in Ahmedabad, India. Reportedly, the incident occurred during the Indian Premier League (IPL) qualifier match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), his team, and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
SRK, who arrived in Ahmedabad on Monday to support his team, reportedly experienced heatstroke after spending two days in the city. Following the match on Tuesday, he returned to his hotel late at night but his health deteriorated the next morning, leading to his hospitalization at KD Hospital.
Fortunately, Shah Rukh received prompt medical attention and was discharged after receiving first aid. Sources confirm his condition has improved, and he is currently stable. However, prioritizing his health, he has postponed his planned return trip to Mumbai to ensure proper rest and recuperation.
However, neither the actor nor his team has confirmed the news.
