Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Member of Parliament Raghav Chadha has been invited to participate in the prestigious Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) Executive Education Program, further solidifying his growing global recognition as a policymaker committed to governance, innovation, and public service.

Chadha’s selection follows his recognition as a Young Global Leader (YGL) by the World Economic Forum (WEF), an honor awarded to exceptional individuals under 40 who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and dedication to shaping a better future. Among the YGLs, a select few are chosen for the Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century program at Harvard Kennedy School, one of the world’s leading institutions in public policy education.

Actor Radhika Apte is all set to step into the role of a director. Known for her performances in critically acclaimed films like Padman, Andhadhun, Monica O My Darling, and more, she will now make her directorial debut with an action fantasy film titled Kotya.

The announcement was made as part of the CinéV-CHD Market lineup, alongside the second edition of India’s Cinevesture International Film Festival (CIFF), as reported by Variety. The lineup features 22 diverse projects from both established and emerging filmmakers.

According to the report, Radhika Apte’s film is a “Hindi/Marathi action-fantasy” that follows a young migrant sugarcane cutter who gains superpowers after undergoing a forced medical procedure. She then uses these powers to help free her family from debt. The feature film will be produced by filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane.

Other projects unveiled as part of the lineup include upcoming titles from notable names such as Hansal Mehta, Nandita Das, All We Imagine As Light star Kani Kusruti, The Sky is Pink director Shonali Bose, and Eeb Alley Ooo! creator Prateek Vats.

On the work front, Radhika Apte was most recently seen in Sister Midnight. The film had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival and went on to receive a BAFTA nomination in the Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director, or Producer category. Radhika was also nominated for a BIFA award. The film stars her as a woman who is forced into an unhappy arranged marriage.

In December last year, Radhika Apte announced the birth of her child with her husband, Benedict Taylor. On Instagram, she shared a photograph of herself breastfeeding the newborn, marking a special moment. The photo also highlighted her return to work after taking maternity leave.

The month of March might seem dry but PVR INOX has come up with interesting strategies to attract more footfalls. Apart from screening new releases like The Diplomat, Mickey 17, Snow White, Kingstone, The Day The Earth Blew Up, Kingston and above all, Sikandar, India’s biggest multiplex chain has also planned re-releases of exciting films. Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, Executive Director, PVR INOX Ltd, spoke exclusively with Bollywood Hungama about it and a lot more.

Sanjeev Kumar Bijli began by saying, “The Oscar film festival will continue. We are highlighting the films that managed to win the Oscars. Unfortunately, Anora didn’t get a censor certificate and hence, it’s not going to come on the big screen in India. But apart from that, The Brutalist, Wicked, Conclave, A Real Pain etc. will continue to be screened at the cinemas. This Women’s Day, we are re-releasing Queen, Fashion and Highway. In fact, there are several re-releases this month like Lootera, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, Lamhe, The Karate Kid (1984), Half Girlfriend, Karz and Ghatak. We also have the entire Aamir Khan Film Festival. 12 or 13 of his films will be back on the big screen!”

As per the press statement of PVR Inox, some Aamir Khan films which will be re-released on his birthday are Lagaan, Taare Zameen Par, Rang De Basanti, Dil Chahta Hai and PK. The statement further said that regional classics like Kumbalangi Nights and Sairat will also be re-released.

When asked if the Aamir Khan festival will commence next Friday, March 14, to coincide with his birthday, Sanjeev Kumar Bijli smiled and said, “Yes, that’s the idea.”

Not many are aware that Sanjeev Kumar Bijli and Ajay Bijli were the co-producers of Taare Zameen Par and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, both of which were also produced by Aamir Khan. When asked about these films and his bond with Aamir Khan over the years, Sanjeev Kumar Bijli replied, “We were fortunate to work on those two films as producers with him. He still remains not just one of the best actors in the industry but also a thought leader. Through his movies like Dangal, 3 Idiots etc., he has pushed the envelope not just in terms of the film’s content but also in terms of promotions and marketing. Hence, it’s great to know him and be associated with him. We are very excited to host and curate this film festival.”

Sanjeev Kumar Bijli further talked about how re-releases have been instrumental in getting in more footfalls, “It started more out of necessity. There were fewer films that were released. Looking at the phenomenal response, especially to films like Rockstar, Laila Majnu, Tumbbad, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and now Sanam Teri Kasam. It has given us the confidence to create a separate department in Mumbai that looks after the curation and re-releases of films. It’s mostly Hindi and a few regional films which have been re-released. We have barely scratched the surface for English films. The only significant English film which re-released was Interstellar and it did excellent business. We also listen closely to our customers on our social handles. There have been a lot of requests coming in and this is how we have been able to establish a very successful line of programming.”

Interestingly, Bindiya was expecting their second child, Siddhi, during the making of Border [1997]. Nidhi wants to be a hands-on producer.” The source further added, “Being a woman producer on a war film isn’t easy, but having such examples will encourage more women. She is balancing the film and her pregnancy beautifully. The baby is due in July; by then, the movie’s post-production will begin.”

The report further quoted Nidhi’s father and filmmaker JP Dutta confirming the news. He asserted, “Yes, it’s true. We need everyone’s blessings as Nidhi and Binoy begin this new chapter in their lives. To see my daughter working on the film tirelessly while expecting her bundle of joy makes me so proud.”

The news of Nidhi’s pregnancy comes as Border 2 gains momentum, with recent updates showcasing the team’s dedication on location in Jhansi’s cantonment areas. Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra has sold several luxury apartments in Mumbai’s upscale Oberoi Sky Garden, Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri West. The transactions, registered on March 3, 2025, amounted to over Rs 13 crores. The properties were purchased by members of the Sachdeva family, as per official records accessed by IndexTap.com.

The deals included multiple units, with the highest-value transaction involving two flats spanning 1,985 sq. ft., purchased by Rajini Trilok Sachdeva for Rs 6.35 crores, alongside a stamp duty payment of Rs 31.75 lakhs. Other buyers included Shruti Gaurav Sachdeva, who acquired a 1,075 sq. ft. unit for Rs 3.45 crores, and Sneha Dang Sachdeva, who purchased an 885 sq. ft. apartment for Rs 2.85 crores. Ronak Triloka Sachdeva secured a 1,100 sq. ft. flat for Rs 3.52 crores, with stamp duty payments varying accordingly.

Each of these high-end residences includes designated car parking spaces, with per-square-foot rates ranging between Rs 31,990 and Rs 32,203. The sale highlights the sustained demand for premium real estate in Lokhandwala, an area known for its celebrity residents and upscale amenities.

Speaking of the professional front, Priyanka was last seen in Amazon Prime Video’s Citadel while her last theatrical release was Love Again. A couple of months ago, PeeCee wrapped shooting for her next film, The Bluff. Besides this, she has a bunch of projects in her kitty, including Heads of State.

In addition, she will reportedly be seen in SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s next. Meanwhile, she is yet to announce her comeback project in Bollywood. Salman Khan and Atlee’s collaboration has to be the most discussed project of the Indian Film Industry as after all the ups and downs, the film is finally put on the backburner. However, contrary to the media reports of the producers not willing to invest on Salman Khan, the real reason for the same has got to do with the casting issues.

Reportedly, Rajinikanth refused to be a part of the project citing date issues and the same resulted in all plans of this mega budget entertainer going for a toss. “While Salman Khan and Atlee collaboration was already getting a nontheatrical deal of Rs. 200 crores, Rajinikanth’s presence would have upped the stakes to Rs. 275 crores as the digital and satellite of Tamil would have gone up by a huge margin. A non-theatrical of Rs. 275 crores on a budget of Rs. 650 crores makes the risk lesser by a substantial margin,” a trade source shared with Bollywood Hungama.

Since the collaboration didn’t work out, Atlee met Salman a couple of days back and explained the plight. “He explained all the issues to Salman Khan and the superstar was more than okay to wait for a year and team up with Atlee in 2026. He understood that the budgets warrant presence of another superstar and respected Atlee’s decision to make another film before moving on to a project with him. Atlee apologised to Salman for keeping his dates blocked for a year and has promised to return in 2026.”

The meeting went off smooth and both Salman and Atlee parted ways on a positive note with a hug. “Salman wished Atlee all the luck for his next with Allu Arjun and also confessed to be a big fan of the work done by the Pushpa star. He also told Atlee to not be apologetic as films getting delayed is the nature of industry.”

Salman is now on the look out for his next after Sikandar.

Anurag Kashyap, who has been making some shocking statements about his desire to quit the Bollywood industry, has made a major move by shifting away from the city of dreams. Yes, the filmmaker recently issued a statement in an interaction, asserting that he has shifted from Mumbai and expressed his desire to stay away from the Hindi film industry. Although he did not reveal the city he is residing in currently, reports claim that the filmmaker-producer may have moved to Bengaluru.

In an interview with The Hindu, Anurag Kashyap opened up about his strong decision to shift as he said, “I’ve left Mumbai. I want to stay away from film people. The industry has become too toxic. Everyone is chasing unrealistic targets, trying to make the next Rs 500 or Rs 800 crores film. The creative atmosphere is gone.” Not ending there, he also talked about the current atmosphere in the industry based in Mumbai and added, “A city is not just a structure but also its people. People here… they pull you down.” He further insisted that he is not the only one who has decided to take this decision. “The biggest exodus is to the Middle East, especially Dubai. Others have fled to Portugal, London, Germany, US. These are mainstream filmmakers I am talking about,” he asserted.

This is not the first time where he has opened up about moving out of the city. He hinted at the same when he spoke to The Hollywood Reporter earlier, wherein he had shared, “It’s difficult for me to go out and experiment. Because now, it comes at a cost, which makes my producers think about profit. They’re like, ‘Where are my margins? I’m losing money.’ I’m like, ‘You don’t want to make this movie? Don’t make this movie.’ But I just cannot. Because right from the beginning, before the film starts, it becomes about ‘How do we sell it?’ So, the joy of filmmaking is sucked out. That’s why I want to move out. Literally, next year, I’m moving out of Mumbai.”

Not only in terms of moving his base, but a gradual shift was observed in terms of Kashyap’s choice of films as well. Recently, he turned presenter for Manju Warrier’s acclaimed film Footage and he also announced his association with the Adivi Sesh romantic-action thriller Dacoit in which he is expected to play a key role as a cop.
