Ashneer Grover, the former BharatPe founder, has criticized Salman Khan for his behavior during his guest appearance on Bigg Boss 18 last year. Grover claims Khan unnecessarily grilled him on the show, accusing him of creating drama. This recent revelation came during an interaction with students at NIT Kurukshetra, where Grover addressed the on-air confrontation with the Bollywood superstar.

Grover’s comments stem from a heated exchange with Khan on Bigg Boss 18. The confrontation arose after Khan called out Grover for previous remarks he made about the actor, including an incident where Grover claimed he was denied a photo opportunity with Khan. Now, Grover is firing back, claiming Khan’s actions were performative.

During his Bigg Boss 18 appearance, Khan addressed Grover’s claims, saying, “I don’t feel bad about all these. It’s just that when you give a wrong impression to someone about a person, that’s not right. Later it will bite you itself.” Khan also stated, “I just got to know that you are coming. In November last year, Nikkhil Advani and his banner Emmay Entertainment came up with the show Freedom At Midnight, which received much appreciation. It was adapted from the book of the same name by authors Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins. The web series showed the workings of the Indian National Congress and its leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and others towards India’s freedom from the British.

In his upcoming show The Revolutionaries, Advani will be throwing light on the other side of the freedom movement, which is the armed revolution. The show, which will be aired on Amazon Prime Video, will be adapted from Sanjeev Sanyal’s book titled ‘Revolutionaries’. The book is based on the armed revolution carried out against the British by revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Subhash Chandra Bose, Aurobindo Ghosh, among others.

Sharing about the show’s status, Nikkhil Advani told Bollywood Hungama exclusively, “I start shooting The Revolutionaries at the end of February, which is an Amazon show. I have been working at it for the last year-and-a-half to two years. And there are a couple of other films and shows that Emmay Entertainment will be releasing soon. And Freedom At Midnight Season two will also release.”

Advani has been dabbling into different topics both on web and cinema. When asked about his criteria to choose subjects, he said, “Achieving success at the box office is not the most important criterion. Basically it is about being able to tell a story that nobody else is actually telling and is a difficult story to tell. Whether it is Freedom At Midnight, Rocket Boys or Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway, all those are difficult stories; most people will not touch it. Those are the things that attract me to the subject.”

Advani also has a Netflix movie with Saif Ali Khan, which got postponed after the unfortunate attack on the actor last month. “Saif and I have always been in touch,” said Advani. “The thing is, whether it is Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan or Rani Mukerji, even though I may not be working with them at that point, we are always in touch because we are looking for that ideal subject to work on.”

Last year wasn’t so encouraging for Bollywood at the box office. Except Sky Force, this year too hasn’t been positive so far. When asked about his take on Hindi films struggling at the box office, Advani firmly said, “I don’t have any take on it at all. There are enough experts that claim to know so much about Bollywood, whether it is box office, what is going to do well, what the trend is, what is not going to do well, etc. I leave all those analyses to these wonderful experts that we have.”

Veteran singer Udit Narayan has responded to the controversy surrounding a viral video from his recent concert. The clip, which shows him kissing female fans while performing ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani,’ sparked online outrage. The incident, which took place during his stage show, led to accusations of inappropriate behavior. When questioned about the backlash, the 69-year-old singer defended himself, stating, “Hum log aise nahin hain, hum decent log hain.”

Udit Narayan Defends Fan Interactions
Speaking to HT City, Narayan explained that fan enthusiasm often leads to such moments. He stated that many supporters express their love through physical gestures like handshakes or kisses. “Fans itne deewane hote hain na. Some people encourage this and show their love through this. Udaake kya karna hai ab iss cheez ko?” he said. He also pointed out that bodyguards were present at the event, but the excitement of meeting a celebrity can sometimes result in such incidents.

Narayan suggested that the controversy might have been deliberately created. Addressing this, he maintained that it was a spontaneous moment rather than an intentional act. “I have been in Bollywood for 46 years now, my image hasn’t been such (that I forcefully kiss fans). In fact, I fold my hands when I see the love my fans shower on me,” he explained. He added that he bows down on stage out of gratitude, acknowledging that such moments may never return.

The actress, who was always been quite open about her political and social views, came into news when her account was disabled by the social media platform X aka Twitter after she posted some messages and personal photos on the occasion of Republic Day. While the actress questioned the reason behind X taking this action, a new issue has to come to light, after which Bhaskar insisted that her account has been hacked, leaving her concerned.

Taking to her Instagram page, Swara Bhaskar shared a few photos as proof which shows the email notification she received from her X (Twitter) account wherein it is being said that a delegation invite that was sent from the actress’ side that has been accepted by someone. “And now… my Twitter/ X account it would seem HAS BEEN HACKED!” she wrote in her caption as she demanded a clarification. She explained the issue in a detailed note wherein, she said, “I was locked out of my account on 30th Jan following a copyright violation charge that I’ve appealed against. Following this I tried to change my password and re-access my X account but was unable. Then I received an email claiming that two factor authentication was turned off.”

“And the following day 31 Jan I have received an email which says some unknown account has accepted a delegation invite from my handle and can now post, send DMs and create lists and groups. I HAVE NOT SENT ANYONE any such invitation. The blue tick verified account ReallySwara is still visible on X but I now have no access to it. It seems my account has been hacked”, the note further read. She also posted screenshots of the notifications she received regarding this conversation about the delegation.
