Muskan Nancy James, best known for her role in the television series Mata Ki Chowki, has made serious allegations against her husband Prashant Motwani, mother-in-law Mona Motwani, and sister-in-law Hansika Motwani.  The actress has filed an FIR against the Motwanis accusing them of property-related fraudulent activities and has also accused her husband Prashant of domestic violence.

Muskan Nancy James has reportedly filed a case against Motwanis at the Amboli Police Station on December 18 wherein she has also complained that she was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy due to constant abuse she allegedly suffered at the hands of her husband Prashant. Reports suggest that the actress has reported the case under multiple sections that includes section 498-A, 323, 504, 506, and 34 of BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita).

In the report, Muskan has also revealed that her in-laws demanded expensive gifts from her and her family along with complaints that her mother-in-law Mona and sister-in-law Hansika interfered in her marriage with Prashanth way too much. In an interaction with ETimes, although Muskaan confirmed that she has filed a complaint, she refrained from revealing details. “I have sought legal assistance now. At this point, I am not at liberty to comment further,” she was quoted saying.

The filmmaker said, “Sometimes even when makers don’t wish to repeat themselves, the rage and the ingredient of the story’s character becomes similar to another story of yours. The stories of Raanjhanaa and Tere Ishk Mein are very different stories. But the rage that Raanjhanaa had created, this is its extension; you will feel that. As the story isn’t the same, you can’t call it another Raanjhanaa. But there is a Raanjhanaa hidden in this one.”

While he is already setting the stage for an action-packed release with Deva, he will also be kicking off the year with the shoot schedule of his next, which is already in the pipeline. Not too long ago, we had reported that the actor is reuniting with his Haider filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj for a film that will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, along with Triptii Dimri as the leading lady. Confirming the same, Shahid dropped first picture from the sets of this highly-anticipated entertainer.

The untitled action film began its mahurat shoot on January 6 in Mumbai. Giving a glimpse of the same from the sets, the official Instagram account of Nadiadwala and Grandsons shared a joint post with Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj and captioned it, “A sneak-peek into a spectacular journey that begins today! ??? Stay tuned as the magic unfolds. Straight from the Mahurat shoot!” Speaking of the film, it is expected to be a high-octane action thriller, with a grand release set for December 5, 2025.

For the unversed, in December, Bollywood Hungama had exclusively shared details of the film’s shoot wherein a source revealed their schedule saying, “The first schedule of the film will take place in Ballard Pier in South Mumbai. The makers have constructed a huge set for the film where some major key scenes will be shot. The team of the film plans to shoot here for around 20-25 days. All the main actors of the film will be a part of this schedule.”

With the release of the second trailer, anticipation is sky-high as Kangana Ranaut not only stars in but also directs this bold cinematic retelling of one of the most controversial periods in Indian politics.

2025 marks 50 years since the 1975 Emergency, and Kangana’s portrayal of Indira Gandhi has left audiences in awe.
