Prime Video, India’s most-loved entertainment destination, today announced the commencement of filming for the highly anticipated fourth season of its fan-favorite Original series Panchayat.

The streaming service shared a picture from the set, featuring returning cast members Jitendra Kumar, Chandan Roy, and Faisal Malik, to officially mark the production kick-off for the next exciting chapter. After winning hearts in India and across 240 countries and territories, this much-loved comedy-drama is back in action as season four begins production.

Panchayat Season 4, produced under the banner of The Viral Fever (TVF), is created by Deepak Kumar Mishra, written by Chandan Kumar, and directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Akshat Vijaywargiya. The series stars Jitendra Kumar in the lead as the endearing Sachiv ji, alongside the exceptional ensemble cast including Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Sanvikaa, Chandan Roy, Faisal Malik, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, and Pankaj Jha in pivotal roles. Along with the original cast, fans can expect to see new characters joining the Panchayat bandwagon, promising an enthralling watch.

While fans are excited at the possibility of a spyverse bringing together iconic superstars like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan along with Hrithik Roshan and Alia Bhatt, there has been a new update about the much-anticipated Alpha. Hrithik, who will be seen reprising Agent Kabir in War 2, will be returning for an important cameo in the Alia Bhatt, Sharvari starrer. Adding further to it, recent update reveals that the actor has also allotted dates for the spy entertainer.

A source revealed to Pinkvilla that Hrithik Roshan, who is on the verge of completing War 2, has dedicated his time from November 9 onwards for an eight-day action schedule. Earlier reports also suggested that the actor as Agent Kabir will be seen mentoring leading ladies Alia Bhatt and Sharvari to be agents. Asserting the same, the source shared, “Hrithik Roshan as Agent Kabir is ready for a crossover in Alpha. The actor is excited as this would mark the first-ever crossover of his character in the YRF Spy Universe. He plays the part of Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s mentor as a long-term plan of the universe.”

Furthermore, the source has also asserted that Hrithik Roshan will be seen in a key role in the film where he will also be seen doing some adrenaline pumping sequences. “Aditya Chopra and director Shiv Rawail have designed an extended cameo that does justice to the aura of Hrithik Roshan and the legacy of Agent Kabir. It’s a well-written sequence, that comes in an apt situation through the narrative of Alpha. Hrithik will get a proper high octane introduction in the tale, and the cameo will lead itself to a massive action block featuring the trio of Hrithik, Alia and Sharvari,” added the source.

“Hrithik will be training and rehearsing for his part from November 6 in Mumbai. It’s 3-days of prep, followed by 8 days of shoot,” the source concluded.

Speaking of the Aditya Chopra spyverse, it includes franchises like Pathaan, Tiger, and War, and it will soon be joined by Alpha.

The Anjaneya Sewa Trust, under the guidance of Jagatguru Swami Raghavacharya Ji Maharaj, has taken up the noble mission of feeding monkeys as they struggle to survive in Ayodhya, often relying on discarded food. The trust has taken an initiative to feed as many monkeys as possible in the sacred town daily. Known for being a kind and generous sanatani, the trust approached Akshay Kumar.

It is being said that Akshay not only agreed without hesitation but also made a significant donation of Rs. 1 crore to ensure the daily feeding of these sacred beings. We hear despite the fact that monkeys are hailed as one of the most sacred animals, considering Hindus worship Lord Hanuman, their plight has been quite difficult in the sacred town. Akshay Kumar has decided to offer his help to improve their condition.

Talking about the same, founder trustee of Anjaneya Sewa Trust, Priya Gupta says, “I have always known Akshay Kumar to be an extremely kind and generous man be it his staff, his crew or co-actors that work with him or each of his family members. He not only donated instantly and generously, but also he dedicated this great sewa in the name of both his parents Hari Om and Aruna Bhatia and his father-in-law Rajesh Khanna. Akshay is not just a generous donor but also an equally socially conscious citizen of India. He was equally concerned about the citizens and city of Ayodhya and thus we will ensure that no citizen gets inconvenienced while we feed the monkeys and there is no littering on the streets of Ayodhya as a result of feeding the monkeys.”

On the work front, Akshay Kumar is currently wrapping up the shoot of the comedy Housefull 5 which boasts of an extensive ensemble cast. The film, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, is expected to release on June 6, 2025.

One of the finest love stories of Hindi cinema, Veer-Zaara(2004), starring Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta, will complete 20 glorious years on November 12 this year. On this landmark occasion, the producers, Yash Raj Films, are all set to re-release the film in overseas territories. The re-release season is currently going on but the films have been re-released in India until now. Hence, the re-release of Veer-Zaara is significant as it’s going to take place in foreign shores.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “To celebrate Veer-Zaara’s 20thanniversary, the studio will have a major re-release on November 7 in overseas territories. They plan to release the film in international markets like North America, the Middle East, the UK & Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and South Africa.”

The source continued, “The re-release is special as it’s the first time foreign fans of the film will get a chance to taste the re-release trend. Also, the song ‘Yeh Hum Aa Gaye Hai Kahaan’ has been added to the print. The song was deleted during its original release presumably as the film was long. It was not even a part of the VCD though it was included in the DVD version. However, it was never shown on the big screen. But now, it can be enjoyed in all its glory in cinemas.”

November 2024, it seems, will turn out to be a significant month for Shah Rukh Khan. On November 2, he’ll celebrate his 59th birthday. This would be followed by Veer-Zaara’s re-release overseas and then his other memorable film, Karan Arjun (1995), will also re-release worldwide, that is, in India and foreign territories, on November 22.

Directed by Yash Chopra, Veer-Zaara is the story of a Squadron Leader in the Indian Air Force who falls in love with a young Pakistani girl when she visits India. Things take a turn when he goes to Pakistan to meet her and gets arrested on wrong charges. He spends 22 years in jail until he’s helped by a fiery Pakistani lawyer. The epic love story also starred Rani Mukerji, Divya Dutta, Kirron Kher and Manoj Bajpayee along with extended cameos by Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini.

The much-anticipated comedy Housefull 5 is gearing up for its final shooting schedule in Mumbai, scheduled to begin early next month. With filming already completed aboard a cruise liner over an extensive 40-day schedule in Europe, the cast, including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan, will wrap up the last phase at Mumbai’s Chitrakoot Grounds. Reportedly, this segment will feature the film’s climax and an elaborate song sequence, anticipated to be a highlight of Tarun Mansukhani’s latest directorial installment.

A Luxurious Set-Up for Housefull 5’s Climax
A report by Mid-Day quoted a source saying, “The set is being constructed to replicate sections of a luxury cruise, staying true to the movie’s theme. Lavish sets are being built to showcase the interiors of a grand bungalow, designed specifically for the climactic sequence involving the ensemble cast. Most of the crowd scenes will also be shot during this schedule.” The production team aims to remain on track to complete filming before Christmas, with around 24 days left on paper.
Jackie Shorff Join for Housefull 5 Final Filming
Adding to the star-studded cast, Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff will join the unit in Mumbai. Dutt, who could not travel to the UK for earlier scenes due to visa issues, is now set to be part of the closing shoot. The final phase will also include a grand song sequence scheduled for early December once the set is completed.

With the final schedule expected to be wrapped by the end of December, Housefull 5 remains on target for its slated release. As the fifth installment in one of Bollywood’s popular comedy franchises, the film continues to generate excitement among fans and moviegoers.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to hit theaters on November 1, featuring an impressive lineup that includes Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri in key roles. Director Anees Bazmee has teased an unexpected twist, noting that Triptii’s performance will amaze viewers. He also highlighted her dynamic on-screen connection with Kartik as a standout element.

Speaking with News 18, Anees Bazmee disclosed that although the trailer hints in one direction, Triptii Dimri’s role is far more significant and central to the plot’s twists. He shared that other actors were initially considered for the part, but casting her proved to be an excellent decision.

The director also emphasized that her role isn’t limited to a few musical scenes her character and performance will surprise audiences, unveiling unexpected layers to her role. He said, “She’s going to shock everyone with her role and performance. They’re sure to say, ‘Achcha, iss tarah hai unka role? Humne toh kabhi socha hi nahi tha.’”

Anees remarked that while talent and dedication are essential, success often needs a bit of luck as well. Triptii, however, possesses a unique mix of qualities. He noted that she’s not only talented and hardworking but also brings warmth and charisma to the set.

Anees quickly recognized Triptii Dimri’s natural compatibility with Kartik Aaryan after meeting her, making her an ideal choice for the role. He stated, “When Triptii came to my mind and then I met her, I realized that she’ll look really good with Kartik.”

He added that Triptii wasn’t the initial choice, as various factors had to be considered. However, she eventually came to mind unexpectedly, leading him to think she might be the perfect fit for the part.

Triptii’s casting emerged as Anees brainstormed new faces who hadn’t previously worked with Kartik, aiming to introduce a fresh dynamic in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. After seeing the results, the entire team believes she was the ideal choice. Her performance has convinced them that no one else could have delivered the same energy, with her on-screen presence proving to be both striking and captivating.

Anees also commended Triptii’s work in Animal with Ranbir Kapoor, recognizing that her growing popularity reflects years of consistent progress and commitment. He observed that her journey wasn’t about overnight fame; instead, her success is rooted in a foundation of hard work across multiple projects.

Over the past seven to eight years, she has steadily delivered standout performances in films like Bulbbul and Qala, gradually establishing her place in the industry.

On the work front, Triptii was last seen in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, released on October 11, 2024, where she starred with Rajkummar Rao as a 90s-era married couple.

The film also featured strong performances from Vijay Raaz, Mallika Sherawat, Archana Puran Singh, and Tiku Talsania. Up next, Triptii will appear in the horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is gearing up to commence production on his highly anticipated romantic-action drama, tentatively titled Love & War. The film, which boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, is scheduled to hit theatres on March 20, 2026. After facing a slight delay due to unfavourable weather conditions in Mumbai, the production is now set to kick off on November 7.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, Ranbir Kapoor will be the first to join the sets, filming his solo sequences for a few weeks. Subsequently, Vicky Kaushal will join the cast, and Alia Bhatt is expected to commence her shoot after wrapping up her current project, Alpha, in early December.

Bhansali has meticulously planned the shooting schedule, allocating over 200 days for Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal to dedicate to the film. Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, is aiming to complete his portion by July or August 2025, as he has commitments to other projects, including Ramayana: Part 2, Dhoom 4, and Animal Park.

Alia Bhatt, who was initially considering a romantic film for a November 2025 start, is now re-evaluating her post-Love & War projects. Similarly, Vicky Kaushal is exploring options for films to begin after November 2025.

Love & War is being self-financed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, marking a significant departure from his usual studio collaborations. While there’s potential for a studio partnership in the future, the team is currently moving forward with the self-financing model.

The film is expected to be shot across various locations in India over the course of a year, concluding in October 2025. Industry insiders suggest that Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal will portray Indian Armed Forces officers in the film.

We were the first ones to report that this Varun Dhawan-starrer, which was referred to as ‘VD18’ has been named Baby John. In September, we revealed that the teaser will be out on Diwali and earlier this month, we exclusively reported on the 5.30-minute extended trailer of the film that was shown at the Big Cine Expo 2024, Mumbai. And now, we bring you another exclusive news item on Baby John.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Baby John’s teaser will be attached not just with Singham Again but also with the other Diwali release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Both films are expected to draw a huge crowd and hence, this will be the ideal opportunity to present the teaser and let a large chunk of the audience know that Varun Dhawan is all set to showcase his massy avatar this Christmas.”

The source continued, “One of the producers of Baby John is Murad Khetani, who is also involved with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. And just like Baby John, Singham Again is also backed by Jio Studios. This is probably why the teaser of Varun Dhawan’s next will be presented with both films this Diwali.”

Sharing more details, the source said, “The teaser of Baby John is 2 minutes long. In a unique initiative, it’ll be available only in cinemas on November 1. It’ll be unveiled on digital the next day, that is, Saturday, November 2.”

Baby John, directed by Kalees, arrives in cinemas on December 25. Besides Varun Dhawan, it also stars Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi. Along with Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios and Atlee’s A For Apple Productions, it is also backed by Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios.

At the Big Cine Expo 2024, an exhibitor asked whether it was a remake of any film. Atlee confessed, “It’s a pure adaptation from Theri, which is a blockbuster film I made in 2016. Even after that film was released, incidents (against women) are still happening all around the world. So, we have given a new touch to it and the film is in sync with the current scenario. We have also adapted a few real incidents.”
