And now, our highly placed sources, on the sets of Singham Again during the shoot of this cameo have shared insane insights on what one can expect.

According to the insider, the Chulbul Pandey cameo will go down in history as one of the best cameos by Salman Khan. “It’s a proper 2-minute sequence to introduce Dabangg Khan – Salman – into the world of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe. He gets the right elevation with a mass presentation, and the aura on the screen will evoke seeti-maar response from the cinema-going audience. Rohit Shetty presents his heroes like superheroes and Salman is a superhero himself, so the presentation is beyond what anyone is thinking,” a source told Bollywood Hungama.

The source further added that the cameo placement is a lot like Akshay Kumar in Sooryavanshi and Hrithik Roshan in Tiger 3. “It’s a post-credit sequence, but worth every penny of the ticket. Await the masses to welcome Chulbul Pandey with open arms. The sequence will set the base for future timelines of Shetty’s ambitious cop universe. The milan of Chulbul Pandey and Singham is finally happening,” the source told us further.

Singham Again is all set to hit the big screens on November 1, 2024.

Surbhi Jyoti, who catapulted to fame with her role as Zoya in the TV serial Qubool Hai, is all set to get married to her longtime boyfriend, Sumit Suri. Surbhi and Sumit will be tying the knot at a luxury resort in Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand. Initially, the couple had planned to tie the knot in Rajasthan, but due to difficulties in securing their desired venue, they postponed their wedding from March this year. The wait is finally over, as Surbhi Jyoti and Sumit Suri will exchange vows on October 27th.

Earlier, Surbhi and Sumit had plans to marry in March and had even started looking for a site in Rajasthan. However, due to issues with the venue and preparation, the couple decided to reschedule.

Talking about their relationship, Surbhi and Sumit have been friends for a long time. The duo earlier collaborated on a music video, Haanji – The Marriage Mantra, where they played a bride and groom.

Sumit Suri began his career appearing in various advertisements before transitioning to film. Sumit made his acting debut in 2013 with the 3D adventure thriller Warning, which featured Manjari Fadnis, Varun Sharma, and Madhurima Tuli. The film was produced by Anubhav Sinha and Jitendra Jain.

Sumit Suri later took on significant roles in films such as What The Fish, Babloo Happy Hai, and Surkhaab, among others. More recently, he appeared in the film 14 Phere, alongside Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda, where he portrayed the character Vivek Karswara in the 2021 romantic comedy.

In addition to his film work, Sumit has starred in web series like Test Case and Home. He also owns a production company called Good Hands Films, located in Mumbai.

Regarding their wedding, the couple initially planned to tie the knot in Rajasthan. However, after that fell through, Sumit and Surbhi selected a beautiful resort in Jim Corbett National Park for their ceremony. They will exchange vows in the company of their close friends and family.

According to a source quoted by Hindustan Times, Surbhi and Sumit’s wedding celebrations will feature several unique and eco-friendly rituals. The couple plans to honor the five elements of nature: earth, fire, air, water, and space, during their festivities. The source also indicated that the celebrations will include various functions that perfectly blend tradition with the couple’s love for nature.

Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit Nene set the stage on fire at Mumbai’s iconic Royal Opera House at the launch of the song ‘Ami Je Tomar 3.0’ from their film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The song was first played and then the talented actresses came on stage and did a live performance, mesmerizing the audience. Kartik Aaryan then joined Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit and they spoke about the film and a lot more. Sometime later, producer Bhushan Kumar and director Anees Bazmee, too, came up and shared fascinating trivia.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) featured Vidya Balan in a power-packed role but she was absent in the second part. Bhushan Kumar revealed, “Kartik joined this iconic brand with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022). Since then, it has been my dream that Vidya ji should also star in the sequel. Lekin inhone mujhe mana kar diya tha!”

At this point, Vidya Balan was embarrassed and she hid behind Kartik. Bhushan Kumar continued, “When Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 trailer was launched, I requested her to post it on her social media handles so that somehow, she’s a part of the film. She agreed as she loved the trailer. She also loved the film and then assured me that she’ll feature in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 for sure.”

Bhushan added, “It’s great that in part 3, Vidya ma’am has returned while Madhuri ma’am has also joined.”

Vidya Balan then shared her side of the story saying, “I’ll tell you the reason why I didn’t work in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. I was very scared because Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s first part had given me a lot. I feared, ‘Maine gadbad kar di toh sab paani fir jaayega’. I told Anees bhai that I can’t take this risk.”

She further stated, “But when they came back to me and offered Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, I loved the script. I was dying to work on this film with Anees bhai and Bhushan. Then it only got better. Of course, there was Kartik as well.”

She then said, “Maine himmat juta li to do it. I had a great time and I’ll say this. Anees Bazmee is the king of entertainment.”

Besides Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also stars Triptii Dimri. It releases on Diwali, that is, November 1.

ZEE5 has announced the world digital premiere of Dharamveer 2 – Mukkam Post Thane- the recently released Marathi-language biographical political drama that continues the saga of Shiv Sena leader Anand Dighe. “The torchbearer of legacy,” as many call him, Dighe’s story is brought to life with the powerful performance of Prasad Oak alongside co-actor Kshitish Date, who portrays the current Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde. Exactly a week is left for the release of the grand Diwali release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and as expected, the makers completed the Censor process in time.

Yesterday, that is, Thursday, October 24, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) handed over the censor certificate to the makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The length of the film, as mentioned on the censor certificate, is 158.26 minutes. In other words, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is 2 hours 38 minutes and 26 seconds long.

The Examining Committee of the CBFC, thankfully, didn’t ask for any visual cuts. But they asked for three changes in the dialogues. The word ‘Ganga Jal’ was replaced with ‘Changa Jal’. In the subtitles, the makers inserted, “It’s just holy water” without mentioning the name of the river. In another scene, the pronunciation of the word ‘chotiya’ was rectified so that it didn’t sound like an abusive word. Then, the dialogue, ‘Supplement leke bhi…khada nahin hota’ was modified and changed to, ‘Support lekar bhi uth nahin pa raha hai’. In the subtitle, the dialogue was mentioned as, ‘He can’t even stand straight after taking support’. Lastly, a static disclaimer was added for the visuals that showed liquor consumption.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 brings back Kartik Aaryan and director Anees Bazmee after the very successful Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022). Vidya Balan rocked the show in Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) and her comeback to the successful series has enhanced the excitement for the third part. The addition of Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri to the star cast has also made people pumped up for the horror comedy.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series and Murad Khetani of Cine1 Studios. It will be released in cinemas on Friday, November 1, that is on the day of Diwali.

Last month, on the occasion of actor Akshay Kumar’s birthday, the actor announced his reunion with filmmaker Priyadarshan after 14 years. The duo, who have given us some of the most iconic Bollywood comedies like Hera Pheri and Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) will be collaborating yet again for a horror comedy Bhoot Bangla. While not many details were revealed after this brief announcement, we now hear from sources that Wamiqa Gabbi is being considered for the role of the leading lady in the movie.

According to sources close to the development, Wamiqa Gabbi fits the bill for the role and is a talent to watch out for. “Wamiqa has impressed everyone with her work on the digital world, and is now all set to make it big on the theatrical medium with films like Baby John, followed by Bhooth Bangla. She has signed the dotted lines and has a solid role in Bhooth Bangla, which will evoke laughter among the cinema going audience,” revealed a source. If the reports hold true, then this will mark her first association with Akshay Kumar.

“Apart from Wamiqa, the film will feature two more female actors. It’s a comic caper with horror elements, and three girls in the same house, alongside a mad ensemble comprising of Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani among others. More casting of Bhooth Bangla is underway,” the source added.

For the unversed, Bhoot Bangla was announced on September 9 along with a motion poster which features Akshay Kumar attempting to lick a bowl of milk along with a black cat on his shoulder. It is set against an eerie backdrop to go with the horror comedy theme of the film. While the actor shared this on social media and expressed his happiness of reuniting with filmmaker Priyadarshan, he did not divulge much details on the film’s shoot schedule. Produced by Ektaa R Kapoor, the release date is yet to be announced.

The film is particularly significant as it marks the first collaboration between Nana Patekar and Anil Sharma since their previous successful ventures. After his 2023 blockbuster Gadar 2, Anil Sharma is all set for Vanvaas.

Gadar 2 not only became one of the most successful films of 2023 but also one of the biggest blockbusters of Bollywood. The film first in the franchise, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001) also has the honour of being a historic blockbuster.

The film marks Fatima’s second collaboration with Dharmatic Entertainment, after her role in the Netflix anthology ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’, produced by Karan Johar’s digital arm. For Madhavan, it is a return to romance after years, stirring memories of his iconic role in Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein. His most recent role in Shaitaan, directed by Vikas Bahl, saw him take on a darker, more intense character alongside Ajay Devgn.

Actor Rhea Chakraborty has received significant relief from the Supreme Court, which upheld the Bombay High Court’s ruling to cancel the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) lookout circular issued against her and her family. This decision comes in the wake of the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding the tragic death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Supreme Court Ruling

On Friday, the Supreme Court’s Bench criticized the CBI and the Maharashtra state government for challenging the Bombay High Court’s earlier decision, suggesting that the motives behind the actions were influenced by the high-profile status of the accused. The CBI had issued lookout circulars in 2020 against Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, her father Lt. Colonel Indrajit Chakraborty, and her mother Sandhya Chakraborty, following an FIR filed by Sushant Singh Rajput’s family in Patna. This FIR initiated the investigation into Rajput’s death and led to the case being transferred to the CBI.

Quashing of Lookout Circulars

The Bombay High Court previously quashed the lookout circulars, stating that there was insufficient reasoning behind their issuance. The Supreme Court reiterated this point, emphasizing that Rhea Chakraborty and her family are well-rooted in society and had cooperated with investigating agencies throughout the process. The Court’s remarks highlight the scrutiny that high-profile individuals often face in legal matters.

Additional Investigations

In the same year, Rhea Chakraborty and her family were also questioned in connection with an alleged money laundering case linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The Enforcement Directorate’s investigation focused on Rhea’s financial dealings, income, and investments, stemming from allegations made by Rajput’s family that she had illegally transferred Rs 15 crores from his account, contributing to his mental distress and subsequent suicide.

Known for his stint in web shows brought out by TVF (The Viral Fever), Naveen Kasturia is a new addition to the second season of ZEE5’s web show Mithya. Titled, Mithya Season 2: The Darker Chapter, the show stars Huma Qureshi and Avantika Dassani in lead roles. In an exclusive quote given to Bollywood Hungama, Naveen said that apart from getting to act with an interesting cast, he chose to do the show also for another reason.

“Well, Darjeeling was also one of the reasons I was excited and really wanted to be a part of the show,” he said. “When you’re shooting in a beautiful location, it keeps your mood light, and I think that played a big part—it de-stresses you. And of course, when you’re shooting with good people, good professionals, and talented actresses, it becomes even better. I had a great time shooting with Huma and Avantika. Both of them were very sweet and warm. Even though I was new to this world, they never made me feel like I was new to the show. I always felt like I had always been there, and it was really cool to shoot with them.”

Mithya is a different from the rest of the projects Naveen has taken on. Speaking about the challenges he faced, the actor said, “See, the most unique thing would be the world it was set in; it had a very dark and mysterious undertone to the show. For me, that was the newest thing about the character & as far as the challenging part is concerned, I find every role of mine challenging because the way I approach it, I start from zero. I approach any or every role as if I’m acting for the first time, so every time my formulas, my way of preparing for a part is new. So, yes it becomes challenging.”

He continued, “I just wanted to make it look authentic, hence, I was just dependent on the script, trying to follow the lines, trying to create moments that were written on paper truthfully & that is generally challenging. All the scenes were challenging to perform truthfully, to make the scenes look real it’s always difficult and I cannot pinpoint one scene and say that was challenging. There are certain scenes where I thought I was good and yes, I found almost every scene new, exciting and challenging.”

Mithya Season 2: The Darker Chapter is set to stream on ZEE5 from November 1.
