Salman Khan is all set for his famous Da-Bangg Tour and the actor has shared his excitement on social media. Khan, who rarely posts on the platform, took to X aka Twitter, to announce the news about the tour along with the other members like his Dabangg co-star Sonakshi Sinha, Kick co-star Jacqueline Fernandez, Bharat co-star Disha Patani, Wanted filmmaker Prabhu Deva, and along with them, Tamannaah Bhatia, Maniesh Paul, Aastha Gill, and Sunil Grover will also be joining him.

The actor posted this announcement calling out to all his Dubai fans, and said, “DUBAI get ready for DA-BANGG THE TOUR – RELOADED on 7th December 2024”. He has also has tagged his brother Sohail Khan, who will be managing the event along with a few other partners. This news comes in the midst of reports that the actor is planning on maintaining a low profile. Readers would be aware that the Khan family is undergoing challenging times after the demise of Baba Siddique, who was a close family friend. Moreover, considering that he was assassinated on the streets of hustling-bustling city, the security for Khan and his family have extensively been beefed up. Fans, while sharing excitement about watching the superstar live on stage, have also expressed concern for his safety on the platform.

Meanwhile, coming to work commitments, Salman Khan is gearing up for Eid release next year, in April 2025 as he will be marking his return to theatres with the Sajid Nadiadwala production Sikandar. The film will feature him alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, among others and is directed by A R Murugadoss. Apart from that Nadiadwala has also announced another intriguing collaboration which is a sequel to the 2014 musical action blockbuster Kick titled Kick 2.

After the assassination of influential political figure Baba Siddiqui, the security for the Khan family has been immensely beefed up. Meanwhile, the feared gangster Lawrence Bishnoi continues to issue death threats to Salman Khan, who has now decided to refrain from making too many public appearances. Amid all this, Bishnoi community have held a protest where they have been burning effigies of Khan and his father Salim Khan.

According to current reports, members of the Bishnoi community gathered on Saturday in Jaipur to showcase their anger towards the statement made by Salim Khan insisting his son’s innocence in the 1998 blackbuck killing case. The community members were seen burning effigies of the superstar and his father and even released a statement regarding the same. As per a report by Hindustan Times, the statement read, “We are Bishnois, we do not defame anyone just like that. When the case was registered 26 years ago, many dignitaries, including the then MLA of the Bishnoi community, were present. Salim Khan cannot mislead people by giving false statements. The entire community was hurt by Salim Khan’s statement. We will make all-out efforts to ensure justice was delivered in the Blackbuck case. We will also protest by taking to the streets”.

Coming to the statement made by Salim Khan, the writer-poet had said that his son would never hurt an animal when he opened up about the 1998 blackbuck killing case. Despite the superstar being acquitted, the Bishnoi community not only continues to hold him responsible but have also threatened them to issue an apology since blackbucks are considered extremely sacred by their communitu.

Not too long ago, Salman Khan and Salim Khan approached the Mumbai police after they received random threats which were later reported to be from Lawrence Bishnoi. Furthermore, in April, the Khan family underwent trauma when their building Galaxy apartment was attacked by two shooters. Followed by this and the demise of Baba Siddique, the Khan family have been promised high-level security in order to safeguard their lives.

India’s leading exhibitor, PVRInox, which controls nearly 35 percent of the business of feature films in the Hindi language, has taken the call to allot 60 percent of screen space to Singham Again during the Diwali 2024 period. According to sources, the decision has been taken keeping in mind the demand from the cinema-going audience all across the board.

A trade source shared with Bollywood Hungama, “The argument on showcasing has been going on for the longest time, and the leading national chain has decided to allot 60 percent showcasing to Singham Again at all India level. The multiplex chain has a 35 percent contribution to the business of feature films and has gone ahead with preferential screening to Singham Again.”

The source shares further, “It’s a business decision of demand meets supply, as Singham Again is huge in terms of the budgets and the star cast. The 60:40 split is for Day one, and required action will be taken on Day 2 and Day 3 based on audience word of mouth.”

We hear the higher performing locations in the national chains have gone to Singham Again, and this is a last-minute masterstroke from Jio Studios, as Anil Thadani was doing his best to secure single screens for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, by offering a clubbed deal with Pushpa 2. The two films are set to hit the big screens on November 1, 2024.

The much-awaited Weekend Ka Vaar promo was unveiled by the channel on their official social media handle and the video has sparked an interesting debate on social media. Superstar Salman Khan, who would be taking the class of contestants, like he does every week, as he discusses the events of the past episodes, opened up about Karan Veer Mehra in this new video clip. The superstar took a jibe at his past divorces, however, the television star’s fans have come in support of him.

In fact, he made a sarcastic remark about how Karan couldn’t handle his family outside the house and is unable to do the same inside house, pointing at the two divorces of the actor. Salman Khan said, “Karan bahar aap parivaar jod nahi paaye, aur yahan bhi parivaar jod nahi parahe ho. Aap koi bhi cheeze complete nahi kar paate ho. Yeh jo kone kone mein kar rahe ho, yeh khulle mein karo (Karan, you couldn’t hold your family together outside, you aren’t able to do so inside the house either. You aren’t able to complete anything you started. Whatever game you are playing in a corner of the room, do it openly).”

The comments made by the superstar, however, hasn’t gone down well with the fans. Many of them have dropped comments, showcasing their support towards Mehra with a few others also insisting that Karan is possibly one of the contestants who really knows how to play the game.

Karan Veer Mehra’s two divorces have sparked quite a few controversies in the recent past too. Khan has addressed the matter wherein he had questioned Mehra about an abuse complaint filed against him. For the unversed, Karan, who has also been a part of Bollywood films, was earlier married to Devika Mehra in 2009 but the couple parted ways after nine years. Later, he tied the knot with Nidhi Seth in 2021 but last year, they called it quits.

Ananya Panday had an interesting conversation with Mayank Shekhar of Mid-Day where she spoke about her career and her life. At an important juncture, she speaks about her lovely bond with Suhana Khan and the other kids like Navya Naveli Nanda, Shanaya Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.

Ananya began by saying, “Navya is the oldest, then it’s me followed by Shanaya and then Suhana. We are all a year apart.” She added, “I can’t be like not friends with them. I don’t have a choice. We are like family.”

Ananya Panday then let out an interesting trivia, “We have a WhatsApp group and it’s called ‘Charlie’s Angels’. The one with Suhana and Shanaya is called ‘Charlie’s Angels’. The WhatsApp group comprising Navya, me, Suhana and Shanaya is called ‘Ananya’s Fans’! I named it, obviously!”

Suhana Khan debuted last year with The Archies (2023), directed by Zoya Akhtar. Ananya said, “I loved The Archies. I was so happy to be seated next to her at the premiere. She’s such a special person and she has a lot to offer to the world.”

The actress also talked about her father Chunky Panday and her experience of being an industry person, “Growing up, I saw my dad being friends with all other actors. So, that’s what I knew. I saw the industry as a warm, friendly place. Now, when I am acting, that’s what I want to do as well. These people are genuinely my friends. Sara Ali Khan just messaged me (after watching CTRL). Janhvi Kapoor and I were doing IIFA together. She landed me and she asked me, ‘How is the hotel and its room service’. They are the only ones who understand the position that I am in. They understand me better than anyone because they are in the same position as I am.”

She further explained, “They understand me better than my school friends. That’s another gang of friends but they work 9 to 5. Hence, they wouldn’t understand the way the industry functions or the stress one goes through when my film is coming. Janhvi and Sara probably understand it much better. They are also very supportive and are the first few ones to post my trailer. It’s great if we can set that example.”

Actor Suniel Shetty and his son Ahan Shetty recently acquired a property in Mumbai for ₹8.01 crores, located in Khar West (Bandra), as per registration documents reviewed by Square Yards. The property was obtained through a bank auction via a “Sale Certificate.”

The Shettys’ new property covers an area of 111.52 square meters (approximately 1,200.39 square feet). The transaction was completed in October 2024, incurring stamp duty fees of ₹40.08 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000.

Square Yards reported that numerous high-profile celebrities, including Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, KL Rahul, and Athiya Shetty, have recently invested in properties in Bandra, Mumbai. This area is particularly attractive due to its proximity to the Bandra-Kurla Complex, a major commercial center, as well as other bustling business districts like Worli and Andheri.

The hard-hitting teaser of The Sabarmati Report, starring Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra has finally dropped and has created tremendous curiosity among the viewers. It is based on a pivotal incident in 2002 of the Sabarmati Express train, which changed India’s history forever. Not only was the teaser a major talking point on social media but it also sparked the speculations on whether the journalist’s character was inspired by renowned journalist Barkha Dutt.

A news anchor source said, “As the teaser of The Sabarmati Report showcased the character of a journalist, possibilities are there that it might be inspired from renowned journalist Barkha Dutt. If that’s the case, it’ll be interesting to know who will be playing that character in the film – will it be Raashii Khanna or Ridhi Dogra?”

The Sabarmati Report is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd presents and is a Vikir Films Production. It stars Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra, is directed by Dheeraj Sarna and is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan. It will be released worldwide by Zee Studios. The film is all set to arrive in theatres on November 15, 2024.

Ananya Panday had an interesting conversation with Mayank Shekhar of Mid-Day where she spoke about her career and her life. At the very beginning of the conversation, Ananya Panday revealed her equation with Sara Ali Khan in school. Both completed their school education from Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai.

When asked about the age difference, Sara Ali Khan hesitated at first. But then, she gave in, “When I was in Class 5, she was in Class 8. She is three years older than me.”

She revealed why she was scared of her, “She is outspoken even not but in school, she was even more outspoken. I would actually hide from her in school because I used to be terrified (of her). If she was walking down a certain staircase, I would walk from the other staircase!”

Why would she do that? Ananya Panday answered, “Because she would say anything. She is moohfat anyways. But in school, she was even more moohfat and she would just say anything. So, I used to fear, ‘She’s going to say something about me’.”

When asked if she indulged in ragging, Ananya clarified, “She would not rag. She did not know what my name was. She didn’t want to know what my name was! We did a play together in school. She was the main (lead) and I was holding her umbrella! She didn’t bother to know my name. She would address me as, ‘Aye girl, come here’. I don’t think she said ‘Aye’ because my name started with ‘A’!”

Ananya Panday continued, “Now when I tell her (about the school experience), she’d tell me, ‘What rubbish. I treated you so well’.”

The bond between Ananya and Sara Ali Khan is now very different. Ananya confessed, “She just messaged me. She saw CTRL. I was like, ‘Oh my god, you already watched it?’ as the film dropped a few hours ago.”

She added, “She debuted a year before me and was very welcoming. She would be like ‘Let’s go for lunch’. She made an effort to be friends.”

Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again and Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are going to clash on Diwali, that is, Friday, November 1. Right now, the makers of both films are fighting each other for shows and screens. But four weeks after this mega clash, Ajay Devgn and Anees Bazmee’s film Naam will be released in cinemas. The surprise announcement happened earlier today.

This marks Ajay and Anees’ third film after the romantic drama Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha (1998) and the suspense thriller Deewangee (2002). Naam, interestingly, was shot nearly 20 years ago, in 2004. There were talks of this film releasing in cinemas in 2013 but it didn’t materialize. It was initially titled Benaam and later changed to Naam. Priyanka Chopra was earlier signed for this role but due to some issues, she was replaced by Sameera Reddy. Himesh Reshammiya has composed the music of the film which also stars Bhumika Chawla.

Incidentally, its producer is Dinesh Patel who gave a break to Ajay Devgn in Phool Aur Kaante (1991). The producer later made the 1995 flick Saajan Ki Baahon Mein, starring Rishi Kapoor, Raveena Tandon and Tabu followed by Naam.

Interestingly, Naam releases on November 22, the same day as the release of Ajay Devgn’s debut film Phool Aur Kaante 33 years ago.

Naam is the second delayed film of Anees Bazmee to finally see the light of day. In 2020, when films used to release directly on OTT platforms, Bazmee’s It’s My Life premiered directly on television, on November 29, 2020. Produced by Boney Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, it starred Harman Baweja and Genelia Deshmukh. Around its release, Anees Bazmee spoke to Bollywood Hungama and he confirmed that Naamwould also be released soon.

In 2019, Anees Bazmee tweeted an on-the-set image of Naam. It featured Anees and a bespectacled Ajay shooting for the film in a snowy region. The filmmaker stated in this post, “Yahin ummeed karta hoon ki ek din yeh movie release ho aur aap sabko dekhne mile.” Finally, after nearly two decades, his wish is finally going to come true.

While fans of Ajay Devgn are excited to see him don the Bajirao Singham avatar for the third film from the franchise, Singham Returns, it seems that another action release of the superstar is scheduled for release in the same month. Amid reports of the duo reuniting for Deewangee part 2, it seems that the actor-filmmaker duo have announced another film scheduled to release this year itself. Ajay Devgn and the director Anees Bazmee are teaming up for an action entertainer titled Naam which is slated for release in November this year.

Interestingly, this also marks the second release of Anees Bazmee in the same month since his horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is scheduled for release on November 1 and is expected to clash with Singham in theatres. Meanwhile makers of Naam have dropped a new announcement of the action spectacle with a special poster with the official title and the release date which is scheduled for November 22. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his social media platform X to make this announcement and also shared the first look poster of the entertainer.

Speaking of the film, while details of the rest of the cast are kept under wraps, it is produced by Anil Roongta under Roöngta Entertainment presents, in association with Snigdhaa Movies Pvt. Ltd. Naam promises to be a cinematic spectacle for the fans of Ajay Devgn and the audiences. It will be released by Pen Marudhar in cinemas nationwide on November 22, 2024.

While the first look poster, unveiled on Saturday, has people curious to know more about the film, sources reveal that the movie will be a high-octane, intense action drama. Produced by Roöngta Entertainment in association Snigdhaa Movies Pvt Ltd, the music of the film is composed by Himesh Reshammiya and Sajid Wajid.
