Ever since the reports of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tying the knot started doing the rounds, there have been quite a bit of buzz about the Sinha family. Followed by that, a few days ago, Shatrughan Sinha was seen visiting the hospital which fueled up rumours about his deteriorating health. However, his son Luv Sinha came forth to drop health updates. Now reassuring his concerned fans, Shatrughan Sinha too dropped another post on social media wherein he was seen enjoying the World Cup Finals on Sunday.

On Monday, Shatrughan Sinha took to the social media platform X, aka Twitter to share a few photos from the World Cup match he was enjoying on Sunday. While it seems that the actor is still in hospital undergoing treatment for his high fever, it seems that he is now progressing well in the stage of recovery. Along with the photos, he dropped a note saying, “Away from the ‘controversy & confusion’ created by some of our good friends from the social media/Youtubers. The fact is enjoying with best of our family members, brothers & dear friends.”

Talking further about the photos, actor-turned-politician was snapped in the company of his wife Poonam Sinha and a few others who kept him company during the finale. Appreciating and applauding some of the key players in the match including Virat Kohli, the team captain Rohit Sharma, among other strong performers like Jasprit Bumrah, Surya Kumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya, Sinha continued on the note, “Enjoying the most talked about International Cricket match between #SouthAfrica & #India. Also great to watch the ‘hero’ of not only our dear #AnushkaSharma but also the hero of the nation #ViratKohli. Popular actress Tamannaah Bhatia recently made headlines with two significant real estate transactions in Mumbai. According to reports, she secured a premium office space in the city and mortgaged several properties.

Luxury Office Space in Juhu Tara
The actress reportedly leased a 6,065-square-foot commercial property in Mumbai’s affluent Juhu Tara area. The five-year lease agreement with Nanavati Construction comes at a monthly rent of Rs 18 lakh. The rent is subject to an increase in the fourth and fifth years, reaching Rs 20.16 lakh and Rs 20.96 lakh per month, respectively. The deal was reportedly finalised on June 27th, with Bhatia paying a security deposit of Rs 72 lakh.
Mortgage on Andheri Apartments
In a separate transaction, Tamannaah reportedly mortgaged three of her apartments located on Veera Desai Road in Andheri to lender Indian Bank. The total value of the mortgage is reported to be Rs 7.84 crore. The deal was registered on June 14th, with Bhatia paying a stamp duty of Rs 4.70 lakh.

Coming to the professional front, she will be seen next in the upcoming film Vedaa, alongside John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh. The film is slated for release on Independence Day. Additionally, Bhatia is reported to have a special dance number in the upcoming film Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.

Actor Ranveer Singh has kept fans waiting since his last film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Though the Karan Johar directorial broke the spell, the rumors mill constantly reported that Ranveer’s upcoming projects were either shelved or delayed. Recently, another upcoming project of Ranveer has been confirmed to be put on hold, which is a S Shankar film, Hindi remake of Aparichit. 

Shankar BREAKS SILENCE on Aparichit Remake
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, S. Shankar addressed the rumours. While confirming initial plans for the Aparichit remake with Ranveer Singh, he revealed the project is currently on hold.  Shankar, currently busy promoting his upcoming films Game Changer and Indian 2 (both will be released in 2024), stated that the producers desire a “bigger” film than Aparichit. The director expressed a desire to revisit the project after the release of his current films

In his words, “We had planned to make Aparichit in Hindi, but after that announcement, a lot of films were coming. Our producers want me to do a film bigger than Aparichit, so it is on hold right now. After the release of these two films, we will decide how to take it forward.”

In the meantime, Ranveer Singh has a packed schedule. He will be seen alongside a star-studded cast, including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Deepika Padukone, in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming Diwali release, Singham Again. He also has the third installemnt of Don in his kitty.

The Locarno Film Festival has announced that Shah Rukh Khan will be receiving the prestigious Leopard Achievement Award at the 77th edition of the festival. This honour recognizes Khan’s exceptional career and immense contribution to Indian cinema. Khan’s influence transcends national borders. He has become a living symbol of Bollywood’s vibrancy and the captivating power of Indian films worldwide. The award ceremony will take place on the evening of Saturday, August 10, at Piazza Grande, the heart of the festival.

Giona A. Nazzaro, Artistic Director of the Locarno Film Festival, said in a statement, “To welcome a living legend like Shah Rukh Khan in Locarno is a dream come true! The wealth and breadth of his contribution to Indian cinema is unprecedented. Khan is a king who has never lost touch with the audience that crowned him. The French government acknowledged his contributions to cinema by awarding him the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (2007) and the prestigious Légion d’honneur (2014).

Beyond the award ceremony, the festival offers fans a unique opportunity to engage with the star. Shah Rukh Khan will participate in a public conversation held at the Forum Spazio Cinema on Sunday, August 11. New details in the Salman Khan house firing case have emerged from the chargesheet filed against the Bishnoi gang. The revelations highlight the extensive planning and chilling intentions behind the attack on the Bollywood actor.

The chargesheet in the Salman Khan house firing case unveils a plot orchestrated by the Bishnoi gang. It reveals that a Rs 25 lakh bounty was placed on Salman Khan’s head, with plans to execute the murder in the style of Sidhu Moosewala’s assassination. 

The chargesheet outlines that the Bishnoi gang meticulously planned the assassination attempt over several months, from August 2023 to April 2024. The gang sought to procure weapons from Pakistan, including AK-47s, AK-92s, M16 rifles, and the Turkish-made Zigana pistol, the latter being the weapon used to kill Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in 2022.
Extensive Planning and Surveillance on Salman Khan
It was found that the gang assigned boys under the age of 18 to carry out the assassination. These minors were awaiting orders from Goldie Brar and Anmol Bishnoi to execute the plot. Furthermore, the chargesheet details how around 70 individuals were involved in tracking Salman Khan’s movements. This surveillance network extended to his Mumbai residence, Panvel farmhouse, and Goregaon Film City.

For the unversed, in April, two bike-borne men fired several rounds at Salman’s Galaxy Apartment residence in Bandra, Mumbai, marking a significant escalation in the gang’s efforts against the actor.

The makers of Karthikeya 2, People Media Factory, and Vijay Yelakanti have collaborated to produce Maa Kaali, a film based on the true events of the Direct Action Day and Naokhali massacres. The movie stars Raima Sen and Abhishek Singh and delves into the pivotal events of August 16, 1946, also known as The Week of Long Knives. The film sheds light on the atrocities committed against Bengali Hindus on the cusp of Independence and promises to uncover the horrors that have been long kept hidden.

The poster of the film has been revealed, announcing the date for the teaser launch on July 4. Director Vijay Yelakanti shares, “Maa Kaali is a homage to all the lives lost in the ruthless massacre driven by power and ambition. Although it is directly related to one of the most significant chapters of our modern Indian history, Direct Action Day continues to be an untold story of human suffering. With the film, we aim to offer a voice of support, sympathy and solidarity to all the people who continue to bear the scars of this uneventful tragedy.”

About Maa Kali

With the aim of a separate Muslim homeland, the All-India Muslim league resorted to “direct action” on 16th August 1946, resulting in communal violence sacrificing the lives of thousands of Bengali Hindus. Scaling the events before, during and after the partition, the film promises to uncover the horrors that have been long kept hidden from the people.

Headlining the cast is Raima Sen who marks her return to the big screens in a leading role along with an ensemble supporting cast. Shot in Hindi, Maa Kaali is a trilingual film which will also release in Bengali and Telugu. Written and directed by Vijay Yelakanti, the film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, co-produced by Vivek Kuchibhotla and presented by People Media Factory. Pooja Entertainment has been in the news since Bollywood Hungama did the viral story that Vashu Bhagnani sold off his seven-floor office in Juhu, Mumbai to pay off Rs. 250 crore debt. The report further mentioned that he also laid off 80% of employees following consecutive box office failures. Vashu Bhagnani, however, denied the reports. But soon it was reported that many crew members who worked on his recent releases like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Ganapath and Mission Raniganj haven’t been paid. Moreover, reports also stated that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’s lead actors, too, haven’t got their share of remuneration.

Today, that is, July 2, The Economic Times revealed some more information about the financials of Pooja Entertainment. As per their report, the company’s consolidated revenue in the financial year 2023-24 was Rs. 58.07 crores and their consolidated profit in the same financial year was Rs. 8 crores. In the previous financial year, while their revenues were Rs. 46.6 crores, their profit was Rs. 2.86 crores.

The Economic Times report further stated that in the previous six trading sessions, Pooja Entertainment’s stocks declined nearly 36%. On Monday, the stock closed at Rs. 298.85, 5% lower and it was the lowest tradable limit in the trading session. Interestingly, before Bollywood Hungama broke the story, the shares of Vashu Bhagnani Industries had nearly doubled in just one month, from Rs. 209 on May 24 to Rs. 410. The article also stated that the sharp swings in the share prices have raised eyebrows in Dalal Street, which houses the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Meanwhile, in a press statement, Jackky Bhagnani said that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’s leading man Akshay Kumar had a meeting with him and has asked for his payment to be put on hold until the entire cast and crew has been paid.

She assured fans of her determination to fight the disease, stating, “I am strong, determined and truly committed to overcoming this disease.” In a recent Instagram post, Hina wrote about attending an award show in Mumbai before heading straight for her first chemotherapy session.
