Aditi Rao Hydari has joined the list of actors owning a luxury German car. The actress recently purchased the AudiQ7 luxury SUV. The car is worth Rs.88.33 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India).

Sharing the news, the automaker shared a post that read, “Congratulations @aditiraohydari on owning the versatile luxury SUV the all-new #AudiQ7 Audi Mumbai West wishes you many miles on this one. Welcome to the #Quattro family”.

The German luxury SUV is a favourite among Bollywood celebrities and is available in India in two variants-Premium Plus and Technology. The Audi Q7 Premium Plus and technology variants are priced at Rs. 8o lakh and Rs. 88 lakh respectively (ex-showroom). It comes in various colour options like Carrara White, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue, Samurai Grey, and Floret Silver. The interior of the SUV is available in Saiga Beige and Okapi Brown.

Speaking about the powertrains, the new Audi Q7 gets power from a 3.0 litre V6 TFSI petrol engine which is paired with a 48 mild-hybrid system. The hybrid powertrain is capable of churning out 340 hp of peak power and 500 Nm of torque.

One of the most exciting and intriguing films of the year, Major based on the life of the modern national hero Sandeep Unnikrishnan, adds to the excitement of the audience with an interesting glimpse into the film. Announcing the trailer to release on May 9th, the makers of Major presented a short video clip depicting the strenuous process of shooting twice for the bilingual- once in Hindi and second time in Telugu.

After a long wait, the trailer of Major is set to release on the 9th of May with a grand event in the presence of the cast and producer Mahesh Babu. Tracing the inspirational and motivational life of the beloved national hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Adding to the interest, the makers shared a short video showcasing the process of shooting every scene of the film twice, as the bilingual film was simultaneously shot in Hindi and Telugu, and will be dubbed in Malayalam.

Celebrating the spirit of Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s life, Major traces the varied phases of the beloved hero’s life, Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s dedication, courage, sacrifices, love and spirit of life.

Produced by Sony Pictures International Productions in association with Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, Major is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, and stars Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murali Sharma and will be released in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam on 3rd June 2022.

Do you remember the chocolate boy who was all heart in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa… Well, Imran Khan went on to do movies like I Hate Luv Storys, Delhi Belly, Katti Batti among others. But the actor soon faded away and there were rumours that he was toying with the idea of becoming a director. However, nothing concrete came up on that front, and now years later, the actor made an appearance in his cousin and Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan’s Eid celebrations.

While her father Aamir Khan is busy shooting for his films in Rajasthan, Ira Khan hosted a low-key Eid celebration at her residence. Also present at these festivities were, her boyfriend Nupur Shikhare and her cousin Imran Khan. Ira shared a series of photos from the festivities and the last photo featured Imran Khan. Donning a unique crew cut hairstyle, he was seen in a quintessential all-white Eid attire.

Followers of Ira were merely surprised to see the actor make a sudden appearance after keeping a low-key profile. In fact, many of her followers dropped comments on spotting Imran Khan and some of them even extended their best wishes to the Bollywood actor.

Imran Khan was last seen in the Kangana Ranaut starrer Katti Batti. On the personal front, the actor tied the knot with his college sweetheart Avantika Malik in 2010 and the couple even have a daughter named Imara Malik Khan. The two of them announced their separation in 2019 stating irreconcilable differences.

While the rumours are on and off about the actor returning to Bollywood, Imran Khan is yet to make any official announcement about his return.

“Too much, too long, too tired.” This is how a friend of Karan Johar sums up the reasons for the end of his very popular chat show Koffee With Karan. Apparently, Karan was under a lot of pressure to revive the popular talk show for another season on Star. But he decided against it.

Says the friend, “I think the next season was going to be the last. Karan had already started curating his list of guests. Then he realized that the guests were either repeats or not interesting enough. How many times can he call Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan?”

The plan was to start the next season with either of the two big newly married celebrity couples Ranbir-Alia or Katrina-Vicky Kaushal. Apparently, this did not work out, as the grooms were reluctant to be hauled over the coals so soon after the wedding.

Says the friend, “A sense of sameness was creeping in. Karan wanted to end Koffee With Karan while it was still the crackling entertainment that it is known to be.”

There was also the time factor. Karan feels the show takes up too much of his time. Right now he is immersed in directing Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and then he wants to move on to his next directorial, the ambitious costume drama Takht which stars almost everyone who has been on Koffee With Karan.

So it’s goodbye to Koffee With Karan for now. Although with Karan, you can never say never again. Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna!

Actor Anant Vidhaat who won millions of hearts with his talent in films like Mardaani, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai to name a few, has been receiving accolades from all quarters for his performance in Netflix’s Mai. The actor’s nuanced portrayal of Prashant has won over audiences and critics alike and the show was yet another example of his versatility. A far cry away from his character in Mai, Anant is all set to wow the audiences once again with his upcoming film Mere Desh Ki Dharti where he plays the lead alongside Divyendu Sharma.

The film, which hits the theatres on 6th May, has both Anant and Divyendu playing engineers who use their skills to help the farmers of our country. Interestingly, both actors were part of the same dramatic society of Kirori Mal College called ‘The Players’ during their college days and have worked closely with one another in the past. Both actors dreamt of making a mark for themselves in the Indian film industry and have witnessed their dreams come true. While both their careers have soared since their respective debuts, working together on Mere Desh Ki Dharti was extremely special.

Commenting on the same, Anant says, “It’s been a dream run for me as a film actor so far, with Mai the whole experience was just surreal. The kind of appreciation I have got for my character Prashant is overwhelming since the character itself is the talk of the town because of its prominence. Mere Desh Ki Dharti is an important film for me in many ways as it’s my first film as the main lead and a beautiful coincidence of sharing screen space with my friend (Divyendu) with whom I have aspired to be an actor since our college days, which is like a cherry on the cake. I was more than happy to play the parallel lead with Divyendu and during the shoot, we used to reminisce about our college days. it’s a film and a shoot that I will cherish for a long time,” he signs off.
