Filmmaker Abhinay Deo, known for cult films like Delhi Belly, Force 2 and Blackmail, has partnered with entrepreneur Neeta Shah to produce multiple films and web shows together under their banner RDP Pulp Fiction Entertainment.

Be it Delhi Belly that started the dark comedy trend or the Indian adaptation of 24 starring Anil Kapoor that went on to pave the way for the ‘limited series’ format in India via OTT Platforms, Abhinay is known for making content that has always been way ahead of its time.

Continuing this trend, Abhinay, along with Neeta aims to bring diverse “never seen before” content which will again be clutter breaking and first of its kind in India. The banner’s first web series GamerLog was recently announced with International Studio Lionsgate, which revolves around the world of Gaming as an E-sports. The company has developed content in various genres ranging from Dark Comedy, Thrillers, Political Drama, Action Heist, Sitcom, Dramedy, Espionage and Rom-Com – to be announced soon.

Says Abhinay about his vision for the company, “This is a wonderful time to make content that is experimental in nature, yet entertaining and more real and relatable to the larger base of people. Our endeavour is to find stories that are rooted in our country yet relatable to the global audiences.”

Says Neeta, “Abhinay and I have developed multiple scripts for both films and series of various genres. We aim to bring subjects that have not been explored yet and are pertinent in today’s time. We already have some good studios on board as our partners. While 2 of our projects will go on the floor early next year, we plan to announce a few more very soon.”

One of the Game of Thrones franchise, and the cast and crew are just as dedicated to make each one as impactful and meaningful as possible, perhaps giving one reason the House of the Dragon actor Fabien Frankel spent quite a time working on his one intimate scene for the Thrones prequel series.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Frankel shared that he spent seven months working on his character Ser Criston Cole’s Episode 4 sex scene with Milly Alcock’s Rhaenyra Targaryen. “It was something we talked about over seven months. It was one of the first things I was very keen to talk about,” Frankel said.

“The big thing for me was about it not feeling like another gratuitous, sweat-glistening-off-their-back sex scene, ’cause it’s just not like that,” he continued. “Anyone who’s ever had sex will tell you sex ain’t that beautiful. It isn’t some picturesque, amazing thing. It’s awkward, especially when you are young. There’s an uncomfortability that one has to sit in, and there’s a discovery and understanding of each other’s bodies — not to mention the practical side of the whole thing.”

According to Frankel, he spent months texting Alcock and episode director Clare Kilner about the scene and asking them, “How do we make this human? I remember just saying to them, ‘There’s no way this armor comes off without the help,’” Frankel detailed why he fought to have the scene dragged out with the long process of his character Ser Criston Cole taking off his armor.

He added, “Knights would have squires, and squires would take off their armor. For even a world-quality squire, you’ve got 10 minutes to get the armor off. Let’s say five, maybe at best. There’s no way Rhaenyra and Cole are gonna take that armor off in 10 seconds. So I was like, ‘Well, you have to have that in. It’s important that that’s what it is. It’s important that it’s a struggle to get the armor off.’ It’s heavy. How do we get the buckle off? How do we get the boots off?”

“These are all the things I really cared about, ’cause they take away this sort of, to my mind, archaic sexual sex scenes that have existed for so long in television and film, and make it feel real and how it would be,” he concluded. There’s now a time jump in the series and from Episode 6 onwards Emma D’Arcy takes on the role of Rhaenyra Targaryen following Milly Alcock’s departure.

Based on George R.R. Martin’s book “Fire and Blood”, the 10-episode series is the turbulent story of the House of Targaryen, set 200 years before the events that captivated global audiences in Game of Thrones. The series is a gripping saga that takes us deep into the extraordinary world of Westeros and explores the Targaryen family – the all-powerful dragon riders who are the seemingly invincible rulers of the seven kingdoms. Bitter rivalries, jealousy, lust, the quest for power, and betrayal will tear the Targaryens apart and threaten to destroy a dynasty that has ruled unchallenged for a century.

Directed by Miguel Sapochnik, Clare Kilner, Geeta Vasant Patel and Greg Yaitanes, with George R. R. Martin, Ryan Condal, and Miguel Sapochnik along with Sara Hess, Vince Gerardis and Ron Schmidt, helming as executive producers. Even though the series is a prequel to Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon has an individual storyline with new characters played by an impressive cast, including Emma D’Arcy, Matt Smith, Paddy Considine, Olivia Cooke, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, and Sonoya Mizuno.

Hollywood actor Ezra Miller, who has been the center of countless headlines and controversies stemming from their disorderly conduct, multiple harassment and assault cases, has now reportedly claimed to be the ‘Messiah’ and that they would “lead an Indigenous revolution.”

Vanity Fair published an investigative piece chronicling The Flash star’s ongoing arrests and recent apology citing mental health concerns. As per the outlet, Miller, who identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, has been struggling with various mental health issues for more than two years since the 2019 divorce of their parents and the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.

In recent couple of months, the actor has been arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment and then second-degree assault and received a felony charge for burglary in August. Meanwhile, it was then said that Ezra Miller is seeking treatment for their mental health issues. The actor shared an official statement saying they’ve been “suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment.”

The report suggests that a source in the new Vanity Fair report claimed that Ezra Miller believes themselves to be a Christ-like figure fated to wed 18-year-old environmental activist Tokata Iron Eyes, whose parents requested a court-issued protective order against Miller. The parents stated in court documents that the actor met Tokata six years ago when they were 12 and Miller was 23.

“Ezra is Jesus, and Tokata’s an apocalyptic Native American spider goddess, and their union is supposed to bring about the apocalypse,” a source from Miller’s compound in Vermont, dubbed “The Mountain,” told the publication. “And that’s the ‘real’ reason everyone is so opposed to them being together.”

Iron Eyes’ mother, Jumping Eagle, added, “They say they are some kind of messiah, and they’re going to lead an Indigenous revolution.”

Jumping Eagle continued, “If somebody pisses off Ezra, they’re transphobic or a transphobic Nazi. Because we’re trying to protect our daughter and we’re trying to point out what Ezra’s done to harm our daughter, now we’re ‘transphobic.’” As previously it was reported, Iron Eyes’ parents had alleged that Miller used “violence, intimidation, threat of violence, fear, paranoia, delusions, and drugs to hold sway over a young adolescent Tokata.”

They had also alleged that Ezra Miller displayed “cult-like and psychologically manipulative, controlling behavior” towards their daughter, as well as “classic abusive intimate partner violence behavior” and “sexual predatory behavior.” Miller is said to “verbally and emotionally” abuse their cohorts and refers to themself as Jesus and the devil. The actor apparently can often be found ‘claiming that The Flash is the one who brings the multiverses together just like Jesus.’ In 2020, Miller’s reported erratic, disturbing behaviour was caught on video where the actor was filmed choking a woman in Iceland. “[They’d] talk about the metaverse and the medicine and how they’re the Messiah and what [their] work is here,” an insider told Vanity Fair. “They say their spiritual practice is to be among the people — which means party. So, when in Iceland, [they were] out nonstop. [Their] favorite were raves, where [they’d] go on benders for two or three days at a time.”

Ticket To Paradise is the story of a divorced couple, Georgia (Julia Roberts) and David (George Clooney) who team up and travel to Bali so as to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they think they made 25 years ago.

Popular South Korean actors Lee Minho and Gong Hyo Jin will share screen space for the first time in the upcoming romantic space comedy-drama titled Ask The Stars. The actors are currently shooting the series. As per the latest update, Big Mouth star Kim Joo Hun will join the lead actors in the upcoming K-drama.

The logline of the series reads, as per Korean media portal Soompi, Ask The Stars “will follow the story of an astronaut and a tourist who meet and fall in love at a space station. On March 28, it was confirmed that Lee Minho will play the lead role of Gong Ryong, a responsible OB-GYN (obstetrician-gynaecologist) who arrives at the space station as a tourist. Gong Hyo Jin will transform into a Korean-American astronaut Eve Kim.”

The plan is to take the project on air in 2023. The upcoming romantic comedy is being written by Seo Sook Hyang and It’s Okay To Not Be Okay’s Park Shin Woo will direct the series. If the reports are anything to go by, the K-drama has a massive budget of 40 billion KRW (approximately USD 33.8 million).

Meanwhile, Lee Minho was last seen in a pivotal role in the Apple TV+ original trilingual series Pachinko, based on the best-selling novel of the same name. Meanwhile, Gong Hyo Jin last appeared in the smash hit drama When the Camellia Blooms. The new drama will mark the first project together for the two stars. Kim Joo Hun already made an impact with his villainous role in Big Mouth starring alongside Lee Jong Suk and Girls’ Generation’s Yoona. He will also appear in season 3 of Dr. Romantic.
