Now, the popular television star has announced her first pregnancy with husband and singer Rahul Vaidya on social media. Along with the post, the couple also posted their sonography videos on the platform. The couple tied the knot in a lavish traditional ceremony in Mumbai in 2021.

In their recent Instagram post, Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar shared a photo of them posting as ‘MUMMY & DADDY’ with the actress flaunting her baby bump. Besides this, they also shared a carousal post of their recent sonography where users can get a glimpse of their little baby. The couple captioned it saying, “Hello from Mummy Daddy to be & the BABY!! <3” which was followed by a baby emoji as well as a smile emoji. Their post received a lot of love from their fans and industry friends.

In response to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for participation from civil society, IIFA has launched the Be Water+ve initiative in partnership with AquaKraft Foundation. IIFA will initiate an aggressive advocacy campaign to educate civil society about water conservation and at the same time work towards on-ground interventions across the most-disadvantaged villages to make them Water+ve. Supporting the Be Water+ve initiative, were actors Rajkummar Rao and Rakul Preet Singh who signed the Be Water +ve pledge. 

Launching Be Water+ve, the press conference was addressed by the Hon’ble Union Minister of Jal Shakti – Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat via a live conference link. The Minister said, “Looking ahead the need for water is increasing manifold. While the Jal Shakti Ministry has been doing extensive work that is being recognized as an inspiring effort across the world, it can only succeed when people join hands with government efforts. As our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji has said, Jal Jan Abhiyaan and Jan Bhagidaari are needed simultaneously to achieve India’s Water Vision 2047 thereby ensuring longevity and permanent solutions.”

Rajkummar Rao shared his happiness about his debut on the IIFA stage, wherein for the first time he would be hosting the IIFA Rocks in the company of Farah Khan. Rajkummar Rao said, “The UN Sustainable Development Goals are the subject of a fantastic initiative to raise awareness and spur action. Being the international festival of Indian cinema, IIFA has always been sensitive to such delicate issues looking towards the primary objectives of ecology, sustainability, and water conservation. I’m happy to be a part of such a huge initiative along with this I’m very excited to be making my debut at the IIFA Rocks and IIFA Awards in Yas Island Abu Dhabi.”.

Rakulpreet Singh would be performing for the first time at the IIFA Awards and spoke about her performance and shared her dance moves at the press conference. Rakul Preet Singh said, “Transforming our relationship with nature is the key to reversing the triple planetary crisis of climate change, nature and biodiversity loss, and pollution and waste and I’m glad to give my small contribution towards it. IIFA has in the past championed advocacy and action for environment and sustainability, women empowerment, and girls’ education, with celebrities and actors advocating for these causes. 

In 2007, IIFA replaced its traditional star-studded red carpet, with an earth-friendly green carpet to turn the spotlight on Planet Earth and environmental degradation. In 2008, renowned actor Amitabh Bachchan and the late Dr RK Pachauri, then chairperson of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, planted a tree at the United Nations regional office in Bangkok to symbolize the coming together of IIFA and the UN Environment Programme.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been generating significant attention following allegations of sexual harassment made by Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who portrays Roshan Sodhi, against producer Asit Kumarr Modi. Adding to the series of developments, actress Monika Bhadoriya, known for her role as Bawri, left the show in 2019 and shared her experience in a recent interview. She described her time on the show as “hell” and claimed that the producers withheld her payment, along with Gurucharan Singh and Raj Anadkat, as a means of tormenting them.

During an interview with Hindustan Times, Monika Bhadoriya disclosed that the producers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah withheld her payment for a period of three months after her departure from the show. She said, “I have fought for my money for over a year. Unhone har artist ka paisa rok rakha hai – whether it was Raj (Anadkat), Gurucharan (Singh) Bhai – sirf torture karne ke liye. Unke paas paise ki kami nahi hai.”

Bhadoriya shared that her mother was battling cancer at the time, but the show’s makers displayed a lack of support and understanding. “I would spend the night at the hospital, and they would call me early in the morning for a shoot. Even if I would say I am not in the right state of mind, they would force me to come. The worst part was that even after coming on shoot, I would wait, mera kuch kaam hi nahi hota tha,” she shared.

Following her mother’s demise due to her deteriorating health, the actress received a call from producer Asit Kumarr Modi. Monika revelaed, “I was in a trauma, but he only called me seven days after my mother’s death, asking me to report on the set. When I said I wasn’t in condition, his team said, ‘Hum aapko paisa de rahe hai, hum jab chahe aap ko khada hona padega chahe aap ki Mummy admit ho ya koi.’ I went to the set because I had no option and I would just cry every day. Upar se unka torture and misbehave bhi karte the. They would call me on the set an hour before the call time. Itni gundagardi hai unke set pe. He (Asit) says, ‘I’m a God’.”

Monika also added, “Maine bola mujhe kaam hi nahi karna aisi jagah jaha pe aapko kaam karke aisa lage ki issey better suicide karlo. Jo koi aaraha hai badtameezi se baat kar raha hai, sohil sabse badtameezi se baat karte hai,” she added.

The Supreme Court of India has paused the ban on the movie The Kerala Story in West Bengal. The Sudipto Sen directed movie was banned in the state as the state government felt it could affect the law-and-order situation over there.

Judges led by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud said that it is the state’s responsibility to maintain law and order as the film has already got a clearance from the CBFC (Central Bureau of Film Certification) to play in theatres. The court said, as quoted by NDTV, “Prima facie we are of the view that the prohibition by West Bengal is not tenable on the basis of material before. Thus, the order banning the film is stayed.”

The movie and its promos said that The Kerala Story is based on the lives of 32,000 women from the state who were converted to Islam and forced to join the terror organization ISIS. However, as the makers couldn’t provide a proof of the same, the court has ordered them to add a disclaimer in the film stating that it’s a fictionalized account of events and that there is no data to prove the claim about the 32,000 women.

A number of theatres in Tamil Nadu have reportedly stopped screening The Kerala Story due to security concerns. The court has asked the state to ensure the smooth screening of the movie starring Adah Sharma and the safety of the moviegoers.

Following its release on May 5, The Kerala Story has been performing brilliantly at the box office. The film, which is produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, has so far earned Rs. 164 crores in India itself.

The highly anticipated film Animal boasts an impressive ensemble cast that includes Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor. However, according to a report by Pinkvilla, the cast of Animal extends beyond these celebrated actors. It is said that veteran actor Shakti Kapoor will also play a pivotal role in this gangster drama directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. 

Quoting a source close to the development, the report stated, “Shakti Kapoor plays the role of a yester-year gangster in Animal and has already shot for his portions in the earlier schedules. He has an interesting character in the film and the team was very excited to have him on board. In fact, it was an obvious casting when Sandeep Reddy Vanga came up with a character of a gangster who is past his peak.” 

The upcoming film is expected to be a gripping and intense portrayal of a violent gangster saga, with Ranbir Kapoor’s character embodying the traits of a psychopath. The storyline revolves around a family of gangsters, with Anil Kapoor portraying the powerful godfather and Ranbir Kapoor playing his son. While Bobby Deol’s character details have been kept under wraps, it is speculated that he will serve as the nemesis to Ranbir’s character, adding an intriguing dynamic to the narrative.

Speaking of the shooting, a month ago, the team wrapped a schedule in London. Jointly produced under Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures, it is slated to release in theatres on August 11, 2023, in five languages.

Earlier this year in January, the audience were treated to the visual of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan sharing screen space in the film Pathaan. The action-packed sequence that featured the two was quite literally the highlight of the film, with fans of both actors going gaga over it. Following this, it was revealed that Shah Rukh Khan would feature in a similar action sequence in Salman Khan’s Tiger 3. As per reports, the said sequence would once again be an action-packed scene with the two actors battling it out. Now, Bollywood Hungama has got the inside scoop on the details of the sequence which has cost the makers a staggering Rs. 30 cr!

Revealing details exclusively to Bollywood Hungama, a well-placed industry source tells us, “The sequence in Tiger 3 that will feature Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan and Salman Khan as Tiger will be a crazy bike chase sequence. While the scenes with the two in Pathaan was on a train, the scene in Tiger 3 will be shot on a bridge with the two actors.” Ask for details on the said action sequence and the source adds, “The sequence will be a major action scene that will feature both SRK and Salman, however, it will not feature the main villain of Tiger 3, Emraan Hashmi or the female lead Katrina Kaif.”

Interestingly, our source tells us that the said action sequence in Tiger 3 is currently being shot at Madh Island. A huge set has been built for the sequence, with 5 days of shoot already done, while a further 7-8 days of shoot remains. “The makers of Tiger 3 have erected a massive set for the bridge bike chase sequence, and have already finished shooting a portion of it. In fact, a whopping Rs. 30 cr. is being spent on shooting just this one sequence in the film. So expect it to be one of the most entertaining, gripping edge of the seat sequence in an action film”.

Though currently no official word on the shoot has been released, we hear the makers are keeping a lid on the details. As for the film, Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma and also co-stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. Coming as the third instalment in the Tiger franchise, which began with Ek Tha Tiger (2012), and continued with Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), is a part of Yash Raj Films Spy Universe. Tiger 3 is slated for a Diwali release on November 10.

Neetu Kapoor reportedly acquired a luxurious apartment in Mumbai’s prestigious Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) for a staggering sum of Rs 17.4 crore. The purchase adds to the growing list of high-profile real estate transactions by the Kapoor family in the city.

According to documents accessed by IndexTap.com and reported by Hindustan Times, Neetu Kapoor’s new apartment is located on the seventh floor of Sunteck Realty’s 19-storey Signia Isle, situated opposite the Sofitel hotel in BKC. The 3,387 square feet apartment offers a lavish living space and includes the added convenience of three parking spaces. Neetu completed the registration for the property on May 10, paying a stamp duty of Rs 1.04 crore.

It is with mentioning here that Neetu Kapoor’s daughter-in-law and leading Bollywood actress, Alia Bhatt, has also made recent headlines for her real estate ventures. In April, Alia purchased an opulent apartment worth Rs 37 crore in the upscale Bandra suburb. Additionally, on the same day, she gifted two apartments in Juhu to her sister Shaheen. The Kapoor family’s real estate portfolio is expanding further with the construction of a sprawling mansion in Pali Hill, where both Alia and Neetu have been frequently visiting the construction site.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is one of the most keenly awaited films of this year. There have been various reports since last year claiming that Sanya Malhotra is also a part of this film. But the actress never admitted the same. She has now, however, broken her silence and officially announced that she is indeed a part of Jawan.

In a chat with Indian Express, Sanya said, “I am excited because I can finally talk about it. Before this I would give some really weird answers every time I was asked whether I am in Jawan or not.”

Sharing her experience of working with Shah Rukh, she added, “I always hoped to work with SRK one day, so it is a dream come true. I cannot wait to see myself around him… it is a dream role, a dream film. Just to be around him makes me really happy.”

Directed by Atlee Kumar and also starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, Jawan was earlier supposed to release in June this year. But, earlier this month, the makers of the Red Chillies production postponed the film to September 7 as they needed more time to work on the VFX of the film.

Coming back to Sanya, she will next be seen in the Netflix movie Kathal, which is directed by Yashowardhan Mishra and produced by Guneet Monga.

For the unversed, the film was earlier titled as Satyanarayan Ki Katha, which translates to The Story of Satyanarayan, another name for the Hindu god Vishnu, which caused controversy. The title change was announced in a statement by director Sameer Vidwans in 2021.

Kartik re-posted the comment on his official Instagram account, stating that the title would be modified to avoid offending anyone. “A title of the film is something that emerges organically through the creative process. We have taken a decision to change the title of our recently announced film ‘Satyanarayan ki Katha’ to avoid hurting sentiments, even if that’s purely unintentional. Producers of the film and the creative team also are in complete support of this decision. We will be announcing a new title for our love story in the due course of our journey. Sincerely, Sameer Vidwans,” the statement read.

Satyaprem Ki Katha also marked a massive collaboration between NGE and Namah Pictures. Interestingly, Sajid Nadiadwala and Shareen Mantri Kedia with Kishor Arora & director Sameer Vidwans won a National Award for their respective feature films Chhichhore and Anandi Gopal. Satyaprem Ki Katha is slated to hit theatres June 29, 2023.
