Mahira Sharma dismissed the dating rumors, clarifying that she is not in a relationship. She stated, “Kisi ka kuch nahi hai. I’m not dating anyone.”

When asked about handling relationship rumors, Mahira Sharma said, “Fans can connect you with anyone. We can’t stop them. When I work, I am linked to my co-stars too. They make edits and all. But I don’t give much importance to all this. If you like this, do it, but there is nothing like this.”

Last month, ETimes reported that Mahira Sharma and Mohammed Siraj were in a relationship but keeping it low-key. Speculation began after Siraj liked one of Mahira’s Instagram posts, followed by both of them following each other on social media.

Before Mahira Sharma addressed the rumors, her mother, Sania Sharma, denied them in an interview with Times Now.

Academy Award-nominated actress Toni Collette is set to captivate audiences once again with her portrayal of Ylfa in Mickey 17 directed by the visionary Bong Joon-ho. In a recent Q&A, Collette offered an enticing glimpse into her character, the film’s dynamic creative process, and her experience working with an all-star cast including Mark Ruffalo, Robert Pattinson, and Naomi Ackie.

Ylfa, as Collette describes her, is a multifaceted figure: “She’s sweet, uber smooth, manipulative, obsessive, flirty, conservative, and completely in love with her equally narcissistic husband, Kenneth.” Married to the commander of a spaceship bound for the distant planet Niflheim, Ylfa is a pivotal character in this ambitious deep-space colonization narrative. “I find her hysterical,” Collette admitted, revealing that the originality of the script instantly drew her to the role. “It was a wild ride, and I devoured it. I knew I could have some proper fun with Ylfa.”

The film marks Collette’s first collaboration with Bong, a director she’s long admired. Their initial Zoom meeting left her starstruck: “I was very nervous because I’m such a fan. But he was so sweet and easygoing. He cut straight to the point and asked me to be in the movie. I was blown away.” Subsequent discussions over lunch allowed Collette to delve into Ylfa’s relationship with her husband, Kenneth, played by Mark Ruffalo. “It was such a wild script, so I was relieved to get that time to get a grip on the tone,” she said, emphasizing the film’s unique, indescribable vibe. “There is nothing to compare it to—much like Director Bong himself.”

On set, Bong fostered a “safe and explorative” atmosphere, balancing precision with creative freedom. “Bong is super clear about what he wants but also encourages freedom and play,” Collette explained. The filming process, often relying on storyboards rather than full scenes, was a novel experience she grew to love. “You can really focus in and perfect incremental moments.”

Collette had high praise for Ruffalo, who plays Kenneth, Ylfa’s “immature, selfish, ignorant, hardline, unevolved, sexy husband.” She gushed, “Mark is amazing. As an acting partner, and as a person. I absolutely love him. He’s so relaxed and funny—surprisingly hilarious—and just so warm.” Their onscreen dynamic, a blend of youthful sweetness and subtle power plays, was shaped by Bong’s directive to infuse it with a charged, intimate energy. “He said he wanted it to feel like we’d just bonked or were about to,” Collette laughed. “Ylfa’s like a ‘50s housewife… but surreptitiously steering him in the direction she wants.”

The cast is rounded out by Robert Pattinson as Mickey Barnes and Naomi Ackie as his fiercely protective companion, Nasha. Collette lauded Pattinson’s transformative talent—“His two Mickeys are vastly different people. He’s just ridiculously talented”—and Ackie’s grounded authenticity: “She’s so warm and earthy. The transaction was registered on December 26, 2024, with a stamp duty of Rs 36.66 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 30,000 paid.

According to official records, the apartment is situated on the first floor and has a built-up area of 881 sq ft. While the reasons behind the sale remain undisclosed, neither Shakti Kapoor nor the buyers have commented on the transaction. Says the director, “Filming with SRK is always a pleasure. We had fun. He looked fabulous and absolutely fit. He didn’t leave the set for almost eight hours. We shot it in one stretch. I told him I had the opportunity to release one of his coffee table book in Kolkata. He was very happy, and we spoke about it.”

Actors Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR are set to commence filming a highly anticipated dance sequence for War 2 at Yash Raj Studios in Andheri, under the direction of Ayan Mukerji, as revealed by Mid-Day. The shoot, featuring the two stars alongside Kiara Advani, will focus on a climactic dance-off, and is expected to wrap up by March 10.

The idea for the dance-off originated with producer Aditya Chopra, who sought to combine the film’s stylised action with a memorable performance by the two accomplished dancers. Hrithik Roshan will reprise his role as R&AW agent Kabir Dhaliwal, confronting Jr NTR’s antagonist in a hideout, where the dance battle transitions into the climax fight. The actors have undergone 15 days of individual rehearsals to ensure a natural on-screen rivalry, with production designer Amrita Mahal Nakai crafting a grand set and Pritam composing a fast-paced track featuring over 500 dancers.
Creative Vision and Set Preparation
The dance sequence reflects a thoughtful creative process led by Aditya Chopra, Ayan Mukerji, and choreographer Bosco Martis to elevate War 2’s appeal. The report quoted a source saying “In the sequence, Hrithik, who reprises his role of R&AW agent Kabir Dhaliwal, makes his way to the hideout of the antagonist, portrayed by Jr NTR. What follows is an electrifying dance battle that segues into the climactic fight set-piece.”

The shoot’s scale has prompted strict security protocols to maintain secrecy. The source added, “Knowing that the track will arouse curiosity among fans and the media, Adi has beefed up the security at the location. Phones are not allowed on the set, in a bid to ensure that pictures from the shoot don’t get leaked online. Each unit member has been given a badge to avoid a security breach.”

The film is expected to hit theaters on August 14 this year.
