In the note, she said, “If your boyfriend/husband ever says anything disrespectful to you, tell him to write it down on a piece of paper, get in his car, drive and deliver it to his mother, or simply hand it to his daughter. If he can’t say it to his mother or doesn’t want another man to one day say it to his daughter, he shouldn’t be saying it to you”.

This note comes after a video of Aadar Jain’s wedding speech went viral. While professing his love to Alekha Advani after their wedding, Aadar Jain compared his past relationships wherein he said, “I have always loved her and I have always wanted to be with her. So she sent me on this long journey of 20 years through time-pass. It was worth the wait because I get to marry this beautiful, beautiful woman, who looks like a dream. I love you, and it was worth the wait. It’s a secret, I have always loved her. I have done time pass for four years of my life. But now I’m with you, baby.” The statement about demeaning his past relationships hasn’t gone down well with audiences, who lashed out at the actor for being disrespectful to other women who came into his life.

Rani Mukerji is set to return as the fierce cop in Mardaani 3. Announced in 2024, the film is scheduled to begin shooting in June this year. The makers are currently in the pre-production phase and conducting look tests for key characters. According to Mid-Day, the team is also searching for an actor to play the antagonist.

The entertainment portal reported that the director aims to begin filming the cop thriller by June. Yash Raj Films is actively working on pre-production, refining the screenplay and conducting look tests. Auditions are underway to bring in fresh talent, with a strong focus on casting a powerful villain. The production team has also finalized key shooting locations, with major portions set to be filmed in Mumbai and Delhi. In the coming weeks, additional locations in North India will be confirmed.

In 2024, Rani Mukerji announced the film, expressing her excitement about the project. She stated, “When we set out to make Mardaani 3, we were hoping that we find a script that would take the experience of watching a Mardaani franchise film higher. I am really excited about what we have at hand and I’m only hoping that the audience too feels the same after watching Mardaani 3 in theatres!”

Rani added, “Mardaani is an extremely loved franchise and we have a certain responsibility to deliver to the expectation that people have. We will do our best to live up to this. Mardaani 3 is dark, deadly and brutal. So, I’m intrigued to find out the response of the people towards our film. I hope they shower this film with the same amount of love that they have always given.”

Mardaani 3 will be directed by Abhiraj Minawala, who has been mentored by Yash Raj Films. Aditya Chopra recognized his potential early on, allowing him to assist on films like Band Baaja Baaraat, Gunday, Sultan, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, and Tiger 3, among others. Currently serving as the Associate Director of War 2, Abhiraj is now entrusted with leading the blockbuster Mardaani franchise.

Harman Baweja’s Baweja Studios, is joining hands with renowned storyteller and producer Sidharth Jain’s House of Talkies for a landmark three-project deal. This collaboration promises to bring together the best of cinematic storytelling, innovation, and eye-opening narratives, marking a new chapter for both production houses.

Baweja Studios recently released Mrs., starring Sanya Malhotra, which has sparked discussions on invisible labor by women. Sidharth Jain leads House of Talkies, a production house focused on multi-format storytelling. His Netflix series Trial By Fire, which premiered on January 13, 2023, won the Filmfare OTT Award for Best Series (Critics).

Boy From Andaman is the banner’s collaboration with Delhi Crime creator Richie Mehta and Imagine Entertainment.

House of Talkies is affiliated with Sidharth Jain’s The Story Ink, India’s leading book-to-screen adaptation company, representing over 500 stories, 200 authors, and 100 screenwriters. It has a development slate of films and series with major OTT platforms and studios.

Following the resounding success of Amar Singh Chamkila, Netflix and filmmaker Imtiaz Ali reunite for a captivating exploration of contemporary human emotions with O Saathi Re. Produced by Window Seat Films and Reliance Entertainment, the series furthers Netflix’s creative collaboration with Imtiaz and is brought to life by an intriguing ensemble cast – Aditi Rao Hydari, Avinash Tiwary and Arjun Rampal – each adding depth to this intricate love story.

Imtiaz Ali – known for his rich storytelling and deeply moving portrayals of relationships  in Tamasha, Rockstar, Jab We Met and Love Aaj Kal – will take on the role of Creator, Writer and Showrunner. He will also be the Executive Producer of the series along with Mohit Choudhary. Arif Ali, who previously directed the Netflix series She, will take on the role of the director.
