Known for delivering compelling narratives, Applause Entertainment—behind successful series like Black Warrant, Scam, Criminal Justice, Tanaav, and Undekhi—will be producing both films under this new partnership.

Kabir Khan to Helm One Film, Oversee Both as Creative Producer
As part of the collaboration, Kabir Khan is set to direct one of the two films while also serving as the creative producer for both projects. The partnership marks a significant move for both Applause Entertainment and Kabir Khan, who is known for his storytelling in films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, 83, and Ek Tha Tiger.

Currently, Kabir Khan is attending the Maha Kumbh Mela in Uttar Pradesh. In a conversation with ANI, Kabir Khan said, “I feel fortunate to have come here. I will take a holy dip here too. These things are not about Hindus and Muslims, these are the things of our origin, our country, and our civilization. There is no Hindu or Muslim in this. If you believe you are an Indian, then you should feel everything.”

Meanwhile, speaking of the professional front, Kabir’s last directorial venture was Chandu Champion, starring Kartik Aaryan. The film, which was released in June last year, received a positive reaction from the critics.

In a significant move, the Telangana High Court has directed that children below the age of 16 be prohibited from attending cinemas before 11 a.m. and after 11 p.m. The ruling, issued on January 27 by Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy, aims to safeguard young audiences from late-night and early-morning screenings in theatres.

The court’s decision comes as part of the ongoing hearings of four petitions, including those related to the Telugu films Pushpa: The Rule Part 2 and Game Changer. The petitions highlighted issues surrounding odd-hour shows, benefit shows, and increasing ticket prices.

The court clarified that this directive would apply to all films going forward. Justice Reddy had previously issued an order to ban benefit and odd-hour shows, which had been held between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. This followed a tragic incident at Sandhya Cinema in December during the Pushpa: The Rule Part 2 premiere, where a stampede occurred.

The new ruling underscores the court’s focus on the welfare of minors, particularly with respect to late-night screenings, and aims to prevent children from being exposed to films during such hours. The decision aligns with the broader goal of regulating cinema timings and ensuring safer and more responsible viewing experiences for young audiences.

While filming a movie with Rajkummar Rao, she tripped and shattered her wrist, also injuring her face in the fall. After being hospitalized, she recovered within a few days and quickly returned to work. In the video, she mentioned calling Rajkummar to apologize for the delay she caused in production, assuring him that she would return as soon as possible to prevent any further losses.

The vlog opens with real footage of Archana Puran Singh’s fall and injury early in the morning. The on-set video captures her crying in pain as she collapses off-camera, with crew members rushing to her side and taking her to the hospital. Her husband, Parmeet Sethi, was also informed about the incident.

Ayushmann Khurrana updates Aryamann

Ayushmann Khurrana called her son Aryamann to update him on Archana Puran Singh’s accident on set. He said, “Kuch bohot bura nahi hua hai, but unka haath toot gaya hai. So we need to go the hospital.” Aryamann breaks down in tears. Ayushmann consoles him and shares that their mom is fine and she will soon recover.

She explained, “I called Rajkummar Rao and told him that I’m very upset about leaving the shoot. So, today, I’m returning to Virar to complete the shoot, because those poor guys are going to suffer losses otherwise. I’m wearing a full-sleeve outfit, and they’ll shoot me from angles where you won’t be able to tell I’m injured. They’ve told me they need me only for a few hours.”

As Archana prepared to leave the hospital, Parmeet Sethi lightened the mood with some dad jokes, joking about leaving her behind and staying safe from her whacks. Once home, Archana explained, “You may think I’m fine, but I’ve just had a major operation.” She reunited with her sons and shared that she was starting to regain feeling in her hands. Archana wrapped up the vlog with an optimistic note, stating that everything happens for a purpose and that she would be returning to work immediately.
