Following in the footsteps of Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, and Sharwari, Kajol is set to embark on a thrilling journey as the protagonist of MahaRagni: Queen of Queens. This Pan-India film, helmed by Telugu director Charan Tej Uppalapati, will see Kajol wielding weapons and performing jaw-dropping action sequences.

According to a report in Mid-Day, Kajol’s character, Maya, is a fierce and determined woman who rises from the slums of Dharavi to become a powerful force in Maharashtra. The film, shot in Hindi and dubbed in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, is a gripping tale of revenge that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. A major portion of the film was shot in Hyderabad, with the final leg initially planned for Mumbai. However, due to a change in plans, Kajol filmed one of the most intense action sequences on a specially constructed set in Hyderabad.

The makers are keeping the details of this high-octane sequence under wraps to ensure maximum impact. Kajol has undergone rigorous training to master the use of weapons, hand-to-hand combat, and kicks. The sequence is choreographed by Peter Hein, known for his work on the Pushpa franchise and Devara.

German stunt coordinator Florian Hotz, who has worked on acclaimed films like The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes and John Wick: Chapter 4, has also contributed to the film’s action sequences. He has collaborated with Telugu action director Naga Venkat Naga to create thrilling and visually stunning fight scenes.

Bollywood megastar Salman Khan has taken proactive measures to enhance his personal security following a recent death threat issued by a notorious criminal gang. The threat, issued by associates of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has escalated tensions surrounding the actor’s safety.

Bishnoi’s gang, known for their involvement in organized crime and their protection of the blackbuck, a species considered sacred by the Bishnoi community, has accused Khan of a role in the illegal hunting of blackbucks. This ongoing dispute has led to a series of threats and intimidation tactics directed at the actor.

As per a Mid-dDay report, in response to the escalating threats, Khan has made significant investments in his personal security. One such measure involves the acquisition of a high-tech, bulletproof vehicle from Dubai. This armoured vehicle, valued at a substantial sum of Rs. 2 crores, is equipped with state-of-the-art safety features designed to protect against a range of potential threats.

The vehicle’s advanced security features include explosive alert systems, reinforced glass capable of withstanding point-blank gunfire, and advanced camouflage technology to conceal the occupants from identification. Given the vehicle’s specialized nature, it was necessary to import it from Dubai as it is not readily available in the Indian market.

This is not the first time Khan has taken such precautions. Last year, he also imported a bulletproof vehicle in response to earlier threats from the same criminal organization.

Despite the heightened security measures, Khan remains committed to his professional obligations. He has continued to fulfill his role as the host of the popular reality television show, Bigg Boss. The production team behind the show has implemented stringent security protocols to ensure Khan’s safety while on set.

Khan’s presence on the Bigg Boss set has been accompanied by a significant increase in security personnel. Guards have been instructed to verify the identification of all individuals entering the compound, and checkpoints have been established to monitor access. Additionally, the production crew has been instructed to remain on-site until the conclusion of each filming session.

Aayush Sharma and Arpita Khan Sharma have made headlines with their recent real estate transaction. The couple has sold their well-known party pad in Bandra for a staggering Rs 22 crores and has reportedly purchased a new luxury home in Worli.

Reportedly, Aayush and Arpita originally bought their Bandra residence for Rs 10 crore in 2022. Located in the Khar West suburb of Mumbai, the property is situated on the 12th floor of Satguru Developers’ Flying Carpet skyscraper. The apartment, which spans 1,750 square feet, also includes four dedicated parking spaces. 

According to documents reviewed by Zapkey, Arpita registered the property on February 4, 2022, paying a stamp duty of Rs 40 lakh. The location is not only desirable but also close to the Bombay Gymkhana, with rental rates for similar properties ranging from Rs 1.75 lakh to Rs 2 lakh per month.

Now, in 2024, the couple has sold the Khar house for Rs 22 crores, showcasing a significant profit on their investment. Details about the buyer have not been disclosed, but the news has sparked excitement across social media platforms.
Aayush and Arpita Buy New Home in Worli
While the specifics of Aayush and Arpita’s new home in Worli remain under wraps, the couple has yet to release an official statement regarding their move. The transition marks a new chapter for the family, which includes their two children: son Ahil, born in 2016, and daughter Ayat, born in 2019.

The report quoted a source saying, “Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, and team feel that Sky Force is the perfect film for the Republic Day period. It’s high on action, drama, emotions, thrills, and, on top of it, has a lot of patriotism as well.”

In addition to the release date, excitement is also growing for the film’s trailer, which is expected to drop during the Christmas holiday in 2024. “It’s going to be a month-long campaign, and the trailer will set the vibe for the arrival of Sky Force with all the might and force,” added the source.

Sky Force is being developed with an emphasis on high production values. Despite the disappointing numbers, Vasan Bala expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar. “I do feel it. I feel it majorly. I mean, they are supremely supportive, and there is no ounce of letting me feel like this. It is something that I have to grapple with,” he shared, highlighting the emotional weight of the situation.
The Challenges of Releasing a Mainstream Film
Vasan Bala described the aftermath of Jigra’s release as “tough,” indicating the pressure that comes with delivering a successful mainstream film. He stated, “For me, it has always been a struggle to put the film out. But this time, it was a given that the film was going to be out and in a big way.” He acknowledged the heightened scrutiny that filmmakers face when working with mainstream stars, particularly when box office performance does not meet expectations. 
Embracing Feedback and Criticism
During the interview, Vasan Bala spoke about the importance of being receptive to feedback and criticism. “It is never graceful to defend a film after a point,” he remarked, underscoring his belief that learning from the experience is crucial for his growth as a filmmaker. He noted that the scrutiny surrounding Jigra will likely influence his future projects, stating, “Obviously, there will be much more scrutiny now… So I think the more open I am, the chances are that I will make some more films.”

On a similar note, it is worth mentioning here that Bollywood Hungama recently reported that the film has recovered the entire sum of Rs 90 crores, indicating that future earnings from music rights and theatrical releases will be considered profit for Dharma Productions.

A case has been registered against renowned choreographer Remo D’Souza and his wife, Lizelle D’Souza, in Maharashtra for allegedly cheating a dance troupe of Rs 11.96 crores. The allegations involve Remo, his wife, and five others who have been accused of forgery and cheating, according to a report by PTI.

Details of the Case
The case was filed at the Mira Road police station in Thane district on October 16, following a complaint by a 26-year-old dancer. The complaint claims that between 2018 and July 2024, Remo D’Souza, Lizelle, and the other accused fraudulently claimed the prize money won by the dancer’s troupe in a television show competition. According to the First Information Report (FIR), the accused posed as the owners of the troupe and pocketed the prize amount of Rs 11.96 crores.

Among the others accused are Omprakash Shankar Chouhan, Rohit Jadhav, Frame Production Company, Vinod Raut (a policeman), and Ramesh Gupta. The case has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including section 465 (forgery) and section 420 (cheating).
Legal Action and Investigation
An official confirmed that the police have initiated a probe into the matter. While the investigation is ongoing, no further details have been provided regarding the involvement of Remo D’Souza and Lizelle D’Souza in the case. It remains to be seen how the legal proceedings will unfold for the high-profile couple, who have been associated with some of India’s biggest dance reality shows.

Remo D’Souza is yet to comment on the matter. 

Speaking of the professional front, Remo is also gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Be Happy, which will premiere on Prime Video. The movie, directed by Remo and produced by Lizelle D’Souza, stars Abhishek Bachchan and Inayat Verma, alongside Nora Fatehi, Nassar, Johny Lever, and Harleen Sethi.

Veteran lyricist Salim Khan has categorically denied any connection between the recent murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique and his son, actor Salman Khan. In an interview with ABP News, Khan dismissed the notion that Siddique’s killing was a result of his alleged attempts to protect Salman from threats posed by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Khan stated emphatically, “Nahin, mujhe nahin lagta hai ki isse koi taluk hai. Isse koi taluk nahin hai, mujhe nahin lagta. Baba Siddique ka isse kya taluk hoga? Kisi bhi cheez ka bana dijiye. Aapne humko salaam nahi kiya, ab hum aapko maar denge. Aapne humko namaste nahi kiya, hum maar denge (No, I don’t think there is any connection. What connection will Baba Siddique have with this? We can make any story like this. You didn’t greet me, I’ll kill you).”

Khan went on to highlight the widespread concern and support that his son, Salman Khan, has received from various quarters, including law enforcement agencies. He emphasized that Salman’s safety is a matter of utmost importance to many, and that efforts to protect him are a natural response to any perceived threat. “Isme kya hai? Har koi bachana chahta hai… Zindagi jo hai kabhi bhi ja sakti hai, kisi ki bhi ja sakti hai (So what? Everyone wants to save him…Anyone can lose their life anytime),” Khan explained.

The murder of Baba Siddique, a prominent NCP leader, sent shockwaves through Mumbai on the night of October 12. The incident occurred outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in the upscale Bandra area. Following a swift investigation, authorities apprehended two individuals suspected of being directly involved in the killing.

In subsequent developments, law enforcement officials arrested five more individuals believed to have provided firearms and logistical support to the perpetrators. These arrests brought the total number of detained suspects to nine.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the arrested individuals were in communication with Shubham Lonkar and Mohammed Zeeshan Akhtar, both believed to be absconding. Akhtar’s alleged ties to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang have led authorities to suspect his involvement as one of the masterminds behind Siddique’s murder.

The buzz around Shraddha joining the Dhoom 4 cast gained momentum due to the success of Stree 2 and the desire of fans to see her reunite with Ranbir Kapoor. Earlier in the day, Karan Johar announced the C Sankaran Nair biopic with Akshay Kumar in the lead for a Holi 2025 release in March. The announcement has been trending on social media and now we have an exclusive scoop on the latest behind-the-scenes updates.

According to our highly placed sources, Karan Johar has requested Akshay Kumar to rework the release date of Jolly LLB 3. “Jolly LLB 3 is scheduled to release on April 10, 2025, just 20 days after the C Sankaran Nair Biopic. Given that both the films are in the courtroom space, Karan has requested Akshay to take the release of Jolly LLB 3 ahead by a few weeks,” a source told Bollywood Hungama.

The source also informed that Akshay Kumar is considering Karan’s request, however, his producers don’t want to leave the holiday period in the summer 2025 period. “Jolly LLB 3 has got a lucrative date with multiple holidays in the first 2 weeks, and hence it’s going to be a tough call. He understands the issues raised by Karan, as both films are in the same genre, and hence has started discussions with producers of Jolly 3,” the source told us further.

Jolly LLB 3 is slated to arrive in the extended Summer period, whereas Sankaran Nair Biopic is set for a March 15, 2025 release. All eyes are on the call that Akshay takes next.
