Janhvi Kapoor is the rising star of Hindi Cinema, presently gearing up for the release of Devara: Part 1 and shooting for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. She follows it up with an action drama starring Ram Charan in the lead. But in the midst of all this, we have exclusively learnt that Janhvi Kapoor is all set to make a special cameo for her debut co-star, Ishaan Khatter’s next film produced by Karan Johar.

According to our highly placed sources, Janhvi Kapoor has signed on for a 10-day cameo in Masaan director Neeraj Ghaywan’s next film. “When Karan and Neeraj came to Janhvi with the offer, she couldn’t say no as she has the utmost respect for both of them. She has allotted 10 days from her packed diary and is excited to reunite with her debut co-star, Ishaan Khatter,” a source informed Bollywood Hungama.

The source further informed us that it’s a two-hero film, and the team is in talks with another young hero to come on board. “It’s a story of two friends, and Neeraj has come up with a solid storyline that will win over the audience. The treatment and flavour is very different from Masaan,” the source tells us further.

The movie will hit the big screen in the 2nd half of 2025.

Alia Bhatt, currently immersed in the YRF Spy Universe film, Alpha, is gearing up for another ambitious project: Love & War, a Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial slated for a grand theatrical release in March 2026. However, amidst these action-packed endeavours, Bhatt has revealed a desire to explore a more intimate genre: the romantic drama.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, sources close to the actress reveal Bhatt has been actively considering several romantic scripts and has her heart set on a particular one. This forthcoming project, a quintessential love story, is slated to commence production in the final quarter of 2025, following the completion of Love & War. “Alia has identified a script for her next after Love & War, and she is looking to produce and act in the film. It’s an out and out love story, and Alia’s heart at the moment is on the aforementioned script,” revealed a source close to the development.

Intriguingly, the director attached to this romantic venture is rumoured to be the same individual who helmed a massive 2022 blockbuster. “There have been multiple rounds of meeting and the conversations are in the right direction. The film is still a year away from going on floors, and hence, there is also a chance for Alia to change her mind if something better comes up. But given how the things are at the moment, the love-story in question is locked as Alia’s next for 2026,” the source added.

The team is actively seeking a prominent male lead for the film, and casting discussions are expected to commence in January 2024. Once the necessary paperwork is finalized and stakeholders are committed to the project, the casting process will officially begin.

Alia Bhatt’s upcoming slate includes Jigra, set for release on October 11, 2024, and Alpha in late 2025.

Actor Parvin Dabas is currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit of a Mumbai hospital following a serious road incident that occurred on Saturday morning. Reports indicate that he was involved in a collision, prompting immediate medical attention. As per Indian Express, according to a source close to the actor, “Doctors have carried out all the tests and his wife, actress Preeti Jhangiani is by his side at the hospital.”

The Pro Panja League, an organization co-founded by Dabas, released a statement regarding his condition. It read, “We regret to inform that Parvin Dabas, co-founder of the Pro Panja League, has been hospitalized and is in the ICU at Holy Family Hospital in Bandra following an unfortunate car accident in the early hours of Saturday morning. Details of the incident are still emerging, but we can confirm that Mr. Dabas is currently receiving medical attention. Our thoughts are with Parvin and his family during this challenging time. The Pro Panja League management is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as appropriate. We kindly request privacy for Mr. Dabas and his loved ones. Parvin Dabas has made a name for himself in the film industry, gaining recognition for his standout performance in the acclaimed comedy Khosla Ka Ghosla. Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri are currently immersed in filming a captivating love song amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Leh. Director Anees Bazmee has commenced this Ladakh shoot this week.

As per a report in Mid-day, composer duo Sachet-Parampara have crafted this enchanting melody, joining the ranks of Pritam, Amaal Mallik, and Tanishk Bagchi who are contributing to the film’s diverse musical soundtrack. Dispelling rumours of a recreated version of ‘Labon Ko Labon Pe’, the source confirms that this newly composed song is being brought to life through the choreography of Vijay Ganguly.

The picturesque mountains and serene lakes of Leh provide the perfect backdrop for this romantic ballad. Kartik Aaryan exudes charm in a black vest, leather jacket, and brown trousers, while Triptii Dimri radiates elegance in flowing chiffon sarees. The song’s visual aesthetic is reminiscent of the Yash Chopra films, evoking a sense of nostalgia and romance. As the shoot progresses, the director is set to film another song before wrapping up this phase of production.

Speaking to the publication, producer Bhushan Kumar expressed his enthusiasm for shooting in Leh, highlighting the region’s pristine beauty and its untapped potential for cinematic storytelling. He emphasized that the location perfectly complements the grandeur of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, offering a visually stunning backdrop for the film. He said, “Leh and Ladakh offer a pristine landscape that hasn’t been explored much for songs in Indian cinema. For Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, we wanted a location that would match the grandeur of the film, and these breathtaking locations provide the perfect backdrop.”

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also stars Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan. The film will release on Diwali 2024.

Actress-Influencer Rozlyn Khan recently visited the Oshiwara Police station in Andheri West, Mumbai to file a police complaint against of group of residents, living in Yashdeep Society where Khan resides with her sister. In the complaint, the actress alleged that she has been facing several issues with them which has now prompted her to sell the flat and move away to a different neighborhood.

In the complaint, which Rozlyn Khan has filed with the Mumbai police, the actress has written, “Since the day we brought this flat, the society people were not happy with us, but we both used to keep busy and hardly interacted with members”. Addressing the issue, the actress initially took to social media platform, aka X, to express her grief over the issues she has been facing and elaborated on it saying, “I can’t stay in a premises where my safety is compromised and I’m pushed to play dirty games ..! I quit..! Decided to sell the flat n shift to posh society where I have peace of mind.. it’s not all the battle you have to fight ..! I have bigger aims and bigger battles to win ..!”

She went on to add, “But I’m making a legal statement that from local police station to duty officers are managed .. I will push things to you to decide if I am even one percent guilty of anything ?  They tortured to a limit where watchman stopped my ambulance at the main gate when my platlete count dropped down to 37000, and I was made to walk out of my tower to take ambulance at 2am, and these bunch of people are losers they are jobless and sitting to torture me day night till I leave this place ..” The actress also went on to tag the Mumbai Police as well as Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Bollywood star Salman Khan is taking a stand against allegations made in a recent news piece by Asia News International (ANI). The article, published on September 4, included remarks from lawyer Amit Mishra, who represents two individuals involved in a firing incident near Khan’s residence in Mumbai. The piece claimed that Khan had “known connections” with the underworld figure Dawood Ibrahim’s network, known as “D-Company.”

As per a report in Live Law India, in response to this claim, Khan has issued a legal notice through his attorneys at DSK Legal, demanding a public apology and the removal of the article. He asserts that the accusations are unfounded, defamatory, and designed to tarnish his reputation, which he has built over many years.

The original article referenced Mishra’s statements about his clients’ facing threats from individuals associated with D-Company. Mishra suggested that Khan’s alleged ties to this group raised suspicions about his intentions regarding the two accused, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal. In the legal notice, Khan firmly denies these allegations, stating, “Our client denies all the allegations made by Mishra against him in the Impugned Article and states that the allegations therein are absolutely false, baseless, malicious, grossly defamatory, misleading, damaging.”

Salman Khan further describes the claims as not only erroneous but also as a calculated attempt to attract media attention at his expense. The notice criticizes Mishra and ANI for stirring controversy and for their role in promoting misinformation. According to Khan’s legal team, these statements aim to distract from the actual events surrounding the firing incident and serve to garner public sympathy for the accused. The actor’s notice articulates his frustration, stating, “This is nothing but a tactic to gather sympathy from the public at large, and to distract their attention from the matter at hand.”

The actor stresses the seriousness of the allegations, calling them misguided and misplaced. He claims that Mishra’s assertions are harmful and serve to diminish his standing in the eyes of the public. “The allegations made against him have no shred of truth and have been made with an intent to defame, malign and harm the reputation and goodwill of our client,” the notice elaborates.

Salman Khan demands that ANI and Mishra publish an unconditional apology in major newspapers within 48 hours, alongside a request to retract the original article. He also insists that they refrain from making any similar statements in the future. The notice warns that failure to comply could lead to legal action, stating, “If you fail to comply with the aforesaid within 48 hours of receipt of this notice, our client shall be constrained to initiate appropriate criminal and/or civil legal proceedings against you.”

As the situation develops, it remains to be seen how ANI and Mishra will respond to Khan’s demands.

The recent announcement of the fourth film in the Race franchise has got fans excited. What added on to the anticipation is the return of Saif Ali Khan to the franchise. The actor was the main lead in the first two films but was replaced by Salman Khan in Race 3.

The writer of Race 4, Shiraz Ahmed, who also penned the first three films of the franchise, shared details about the fourth film in an exclusive chat with Bollywood Hungama. “Race 4 will go on floors in January (2025),” he said. “The script is almost completed and so is the casting. Saif Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra’s casting is already out in the media. The rest of the cast will be revealed by the producers Tips Films at the right time in a proper announcement.”

Ahmed also revealed the story pattern for Race 4. “For Race 4, we have continued the story and characters from Race 1 and 2. We have gone back to the same world of the first two films,” he said.

Race 3 did earn money at the box office, but the film faced its share of criticisms. Reflecting on this, Ahmed said, “In Race 3, we shifted a bit from the Race franchise in terms of characters. If you remove the title ‘Race’ from the film, you will enjoy it. People went to see Race, but they got to see something else. We had Salman Khan in the film. So, you need to keep certain things in mind. He doesn’t play negative roles. Mainly, his fans would never like to see him in a negative role. So certain boundaries came about. Still, we tried to do whatever we could.”

Produced by Tips Films, the first two films in the Race franchise were directed by the duo Abbas-Mustan. The third film was helmed by Remo D’Souza. The director for Race 4 is not finalized yet.

Based on John le Carré’s classic novel, The Night Manager is a tale of espionage and intrigue. The Indian adaptation, produced by The Ink Factory and Banijay Asia, follows the story of a former soldier turned night manager at a luxury hotel. Recruited by a government intelligence agency, he infiltrates the inner circle of a powerful arms dealer, embarking on a dangerous mission filled with suspense and danger.

Directed by Sandeep Modi, the series boasts a stellar cast, including Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Saswata Chatterjee, and Ravi Behl. The show premiered on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar.

In the Indian version, Aditya Roy Kapur portrays Shaan Sengupta, a night manager at a Dhaka hotel who becomes entangled in the world of international arms dealer Shailendra, played by Anil Kapoor. A chance encounter with a brutal crime sets off a chain of events that thrusts Shaan into a perilous game of cat and mouse.
