Actor and producer Harman Baweja is reportedly a father of two! According to media reports, Baweja and his wife, nutritionist Sasha Ramchandani, recently welcomed their second child.

The couple maintains a private life, and there has been no official confirmation from them regarding the birth. However, multiple reports suggest they had their first child, a baby boy, in December 2022. Now, the reports claim the couple has been blessed with a baby girl in March 2024.

While details remain unconfirmed by Baweja or Ramchandani, a source close to the couple reportedly shared the news with Times of India.

Harman Baweja is known for his roles in films like Love Story 2050 and What’s Your Raashee? He recently made a comeback with Hansal Mehta’s show Scoop, led by Karishma Tanna.

Bollywood A-lister Alia Bhatt is all set to break new ground as she takes the lead in Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) first female-led spy action film. The announcement of the director was made on February 2, 2024, with YRF entrusting the reins to Shiv Rawail, who previously served as assistant director on big-budget productions like Fan and Dhoom 3, made his directorial debut in YRF’s successful Netflix series The Railway Men. Bhatt won’t be going solo in this action extravaganza. Joining her is Sharvari Wagh, creating a powerful double-agent duo.

The YRF Spy Universe has been synonymous with adrenaline-pumping action, and this film promises to maintain that tradition. According to a report in Mid-day, producer Aditya Chopra and director Shiv Rawail have meticulously planned seven distinct action set pieces. Bhatt and Wagh will trade blows not only with the enemy but also with Bobby Deol, who takes on the role of the antagonist.

This project, the sixth instalment in the YRF Spy Universe, is being envisioned as a high-budget spectacle.  Chopra recognizes the potential to draw a wider audience, particularly women, with the film’s unique perspective. A source close to the production revealed, “While Katrina Kaif’s Zoya and Deepika Padukone’s Rubina from the Tiger and Pathaan franchises have been loved, this marks the first female-led project. So, Aditya is keen to make it a cool action entertainer that sees Alia and Sharvari’s characters as mean killing machines.”

YRF is known for collaborating with diverse action directors to ensure each fight sequence feels fresh and captivating. This film will be no exception, with a team of experts including Korean stunt coordinator Se Yeong Oh, Franz Spillhaus, and Indian action director Sunil Rodrigues. Expect to see Bhatt engaging in everything from martial arts to close-quarter combat with Deol.

The untitled project marks a significant addition to YRF’s burgeoning Spy Universe, which has delivered high-octane action flicks like Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), Pathaan (2023), and Tiger 3 (2023).

Sooraj Pancholi, who has only done a handful films ever since his debut about nine years ago, is excited about shooting an important project. Even though the actor made his big Bollywood debut in 2015 alongside Athiya Shetty in Hero, Sooraj has only done three films by far, which includes Satellite Shankar and Time To Dance. As he is gearing up for his most awaited comeback in Bollywood, he opened up about shooting for an upcoming biopic which is expected to be a historical drama.

Recently, Sooraj Pancholi was seen at the premiere of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web-series Heeramandi and was accompanied by his co-star Akanksha Sharma. His latest spotting at the premiere created lots of curiosity around his upcoming project. Talking about his comeback film, Sooraj says, “I am glad to be back on set. The film is a biopic on one of the bravest Indian warriors who fought and defended the Somnath temple. I play a warrior in it.” As per reports, Sooraj is all set to star in an action-entertainer. Sooraj also added, “I am in no rush or race. I want to play different characters in every film. I just want to grow as a performer and do my best every time.”

Sooraj Pancholi was expected to make a debut somewhere around 2014 but was delayed after his former girlfriend Jiah Khan died by suicide and he was arrested in the case of abetment. However, it was last year that he was finally acquitted from the case after a thorough CBI investigation which went on for almost a decade. There were also reports stating that the actor would be doing a sports drama. However, there has been no confirmation on the same.

There is no one quite like Aamir Khan. Anything he does makes news even without any effort on his part. For the last few days, we have been reading reports that Aamir Khan, who had launched his nephew Imran Khan in Jaane Tu …Ya Jaane Na, will be re-launching the exiled actor in a film called Happy Patel.

Let me tell you straightaway that Imran is not being re-launched by Aamir in Happy Patel.

Standup comedian Vir Das will be playing the lead and co-directing the quirky comedy. When this writer asked Aamir himself, this is what he replied, “Hi Subhash, Vir Das is the lead in Happy Patel, not Imran. Imran in doing a two-day cameo in Happy Patel, like a number of us, me included.”

So, Aamir is doing a cameo in Happy Patel. This will be his first onscreen appearance since the ill-fated but ineradicable Laal Singh Chaddha. Aamir’s exiled nephew Imran too would have cameo in Happy Patel. However, Iman is not yet ready for a full-fledged comeback.

And who is directing Happy Patel? Over to Aamir: “Vir Das himself along with Kavi (Shastri). Both are directing as a team,” he said.

Interestingly Aamir had launched Vir Das as a leading man in the Imran Khan starrer Delhi Belly in 2011 which Abhinay Deo had directed.

Hope this puts an end to all the half-baked speculation that is going on about Happy Patel.

One of India’s most celebrated producer, Sajid Nadiadwala recently announced a feature film with Ahan Shetty and Pooja Hegde. The filmmaker then confirmed that the Adnan Shaikh and Yasir Jah directorial has been titled Sanki. While the industry is buzzing that Sanki is a remake of Tamil Film, Adanga Maru starring Jayam Ravi, we have exclusively found out that it’s an original love story written by maverick producer, Sajid Nadiadwala.

According to a source, “Sajid Nadiadwala was planning to make Adanga Maru with Varun Dhawan at one point of time with Anurag Singh as the director. However, the tides changed in the post-pandemic world and VD decided to stay away from a remake. Sajid feels Adanga Maru has great potential to do well in Hindi and will be revisiting the subject in 2025 with a fresh star-cast. It’s a script close to his heart and he will definitely make it for big screen entertainment.”

While Adanga Maru with Varun Dhawan was titled Sanki, the source further informed that the new Sanki has nothing to do with what Sajid was making in the pre-pandemic world. Currently the prep-work is underway and Sajid is committed to taking the film on floors in June 2024. “It’s a start to finish two-month journey on Sanki and Sajid has conveyed his intention of making the film a Valentines’ Day 2025 offering.  Ahan is presently training to play the twisted character of a Sanki in this actioner,” the source told us further.
