Although several celebrities have had a feud with Kangana Ranaut in the past, several celebs came in support of the actress turned politician over a slapping incident she experienced recently. For the unversed, Kangana recently won the Lok Sabha Elections the Mandi constituency of Himachal Pradesh and, she experienced this incident at Chandigarh airport. Veteran actors Shabana Azmi and Anupam Kher along with Shekhar Suman and his actor-son Adhyayan Suman came in support of the actress and strongly condemned this behaviour of the security personnel.

Shabana Azmi took to Twitter to share her opinion on the matter and said, “I have no love lost for #Kangana Ranaut. But I can’t find myself joining this chorus of celebrating “the slap”. If security personnel start taking law into their hands none of us can  be safe .”

Anupam Kher also addressed the incident during an event recently wherein he told the paparazzi, “Mujhe bara afsos hua. Ek mahila k saath ek mahila k dwaara jo apne position ka fayeda uthakar is tarah ki harqat ki, bilkul ghalat hai. Iski kanooni karwaayi honi chahiye. Unka koi bhi rosh hai, main yeh nahi keh raha hoon k inka rosh nhi ho sakta jisne aesa kiya, but yeh apne audhe ka ya position ka fayeda uthakar nahi karna chahiye (I deeply regret that a woman decided to take advantage of her position and did something like this, which is completely wrong. She should be punished legally. She may have had her grievances which I agree but that doesn’t mean she express her anger by taking advantage of her position)”

He continued, “Bohut hi democratic ways hai (There are many democratic ways) of saying that what you have said in the past which has affected. But to do something like this is very sad and unfortunate. Not only because now Kangana in an MP or actress, Kangana is a woman. I think any kind of violence towards anybody, forget about women, isn’t right. Kal ho koi bhi kisi ko bhi kisi bhi baat pe is tarah ki harkat kar sakta hai aur bahana bana sakta hai. Ghalat baat hai (Tomorrow, anyone can do this to anybody. And that’s extremely wrong)”.

Meanwhile, Shekhar Suman also expressed his disappointment over the incident and shared, “Woh ghalat hai, woh toh bohut ghalat hai. Bohut hi durbhagyepurn hai. Aesa kisi k saath nahi hona chahiye (This wrong, terribly wrong. It was very unfortunate. This shouldn’t happen with anyone)”.  He added, “No one has the right to do this. This is illegal what she has done. She should get punished for this. I understand that she might have some anger or protest in her mind but the way it was expressed was very wrong. It could also have been said in a decent manner…You can’t raise your hand on anyone like this”. Adhyayan Suman showcased his agreement by nodding his head.

For the unversed, the CISF commandant slapped Kangana Ranaut at the Chandigarh airport during security check and it is being said that she did this in order to teach the actress-turned-politician a lesson as she disagreed with Ranaut’s thoughts about the farmers’ protest. The security personnel was suspended after the incident.

Furthermore, speaking about it, the place is situated in the prime locality of Carter Road in Bandra, Mumbai, and is said to span across a total area of 2,226 sq.ft. which not only comprises of 2,194 built-up area but also land. It is being said that the actress acquired the property from its former owners Cedric Peter Fernandes and Margaret Annie Marie Fernandes which amounts to Rs. 30,000. However, neither the selling party nor Triptii have opened up about the same.

Speaking of her work commitments, Triptii Dimri is currently gearing up for the release of a film with Vicky Kaushal titled Bad Newz. Apart from that she has also kicked off shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which also stars Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan in key roles. The actress also has an untitled love story with Anurag Basu and Kartik, along with Dhadak 2 with Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Animal Park with Ranbir Kapoor in the pipeline as well.

Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a CISF officer at Chandigarh Airport on Thursday. Later that day, the actress issued a statement about the event, confirming that she was safe. Meanwhile, Vishal Dadlani, a prominent music composer and performer, has responded to the incident on his Instagram Story. He stated that he wishes to “guarantee a job” for the CISF officer if any action is taken against her.

Vishal posted a video clip of the event on Instagram Stories with the statement, “I do not ever support violence, but I absolutely understand the need of this @official_cisf personnel’s anger. If any action is taken against her by the CISF, I will ensure that she has a job waiting for her should she choose to accept it. Jai Hind. Jai Jawaan. Jai Kisaan.”

The CISF constable was identified as Kulwinder Kaur. According to a report by Hindustan Times, she was held immediately following the incident and later suspected when Ranaut filed a complaint with CISF officers upon arriving at Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Vishal posted a second Instagram story following the story of Kaur’s suspension in which he wrote, “Those on Kangana’s side, if she had said your Mother is ‘available in 100 Rupees’ what would you do?” In a separate story, he also wrote: “Again if Ms. Kaur is removed from duty someone get her in touch with me and I will ensure she is gainfully employed.”

Meanwhile Kangana took to Instagram stories to challenge the film industry’s silence on the slap incident. “All eyes on Rafah Gang this can happen to you or your children as well…When you celebrate a terror attack on someone be ready for the day it comes back to you as well.”

Kangana, a BJP candidate, was elected to Lok Sabha from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi earlier this week. She beat Vikramaditya Singh, the Congress heavyweight, by more than 74,000 votes.

Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra is revving up for his next action outing, a yet-untitled film by director Balwinder Singh Januja. Januja, known for films like Tera Kya Hoga Lovely and the Jio series CAT, will be both directing and producing the movie under his banner, Movie Tunnel Productions, alongside Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios.

As per a report in Peeping Moon, the details about the plot are under wraps, but it suggests it’s a unique blend of action, romance, and family drama. Malhotra will reportedly portray a character grappling with his past. Currently in pre-production, the film is slated to begin shooting in September 2024 in Uttarakhand.

Interestingly, Januja is simultaneously working on a comedy titled Sab First Class under Khetani’s production house, starring Varun Sharma and Shehnaaz Gill.

Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra is yet to announce his next project. He was last seen in Dharma Productions’ Yodha.

The film Hamare Baraah continues its tryst with controversy as the film’s release faces another major hurdle. The state of Karnataka in India has banned the release of the film, followed by the court’s order in order to the spread of communal hatred. We hear that the decision was made under the provisions of the Karnataka Cinema Regulations Act 1964, sections 15(1) and 15(5).

Furthermore, the Karnataka court has defended this move to ban the release of Hamare Baarah by citing that they received requests from various organizations to do the same after they came across the film’s trailer. The court also asserted that this was necessary to also prevent potential communal tensions within the state.

Even prior to its intended release, Hamare Baarah has faced significant criticism from viewers, so much so that the film’s trailer was removed from platforms soon after its released. Many people have raised concerns and have accused the film’s content as crude and divisive. Some have even argued that the trailer is deeply disturbing and could have a negative impression on the younger generation by spreading hatred and toxicity.

On the other hand, producer of the film Manoj Joshi has also come in defense of his film and told IANS, “This movie was not made to target any religion. Today, there are discussions about the respect of women in our country. In any society, there should be no disrespect to women. A woman is not an object or a thing; she should be respected, as has been happening in this land of India. Secondly, that film talks about various topics such as education, upbringing, employment, women’s respect and empowerment, and population. So, everyone should watch this film with their families.”

Hamara Baarah starring Annu Kapoor, Abhimanyu Singh, Ashwini Kalsekar, among others in the lead revolves around a woman who takes her father to court to allow her mother, who is in the midst of a risky pregnancy, the right to terminate the pregnancy in order to save her life.

A Mumbai resident, Aishwarya Sharma, aspiring to be a film producer, recently became the target of a major scam. The culprit, Krishna Kumar Ramvilas Sharma, allegedly duped Sharma of a staggering Reportedly, Rs 82.75 lakh under the false promise of arranging a meeting with Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan.

Aspiring Producer Targeted
Sharma, with dreams of making a film titled Love In London starring Kartik Aaryan, reportedly approached Sharma, who claimed to be an agent connecting actors and producers. Between April and May 2023, Sharma convinced Aishwarya of his connections and extracted the hefty sum for facilitating the meeting.
Deception and Arrest
However, after receiving the money, Sharma kept delaying the meeting, citing Kartik Aaryan’s busy schedule. Aishwarya, growing suspicious, eventually discovered Sharma had no links to the film industry. By then, Sharma had vanished with the money.

A cheating case was registered at the Amboli police station. Following an investigation, the police traced Sharma to Karnataka and apprehended him on Wednesday. Reports indicate Sharma is a repeat offender with prior cheating cases registered against him in Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai.

It is important to clarify that Kartik Aaryan was completely unaware of this scam. The actor is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, Chandu Champion, directed by Kabir Khan and slated for release on June 14. Besides this, the actor has a couple of interesting projects lined up, including Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
